With a smile he stood up and drew his blade. "I'm going to go help out my friends and I'll be back okay?" Koko simply nodded sheepishly as Wulfrin turned to the giant bat. Calm and collected as ever, he walked up until he was face to face with the bat, their last obstacle in the quest. Wulfrin glanced at the mob's HP gauge. Based off how quickly it disappeared when he struck the last one and the fact this one was basically only hanging on by a hair, he made the decision to not put forth anymore power than he needed. Was it a gamble? Of course it was, but worst case scenario still had him as the target in the event he didn't kill the thing. Without activating a sword art, he brought his blade to bear against the mob. In an instant the Giant Bat turned into a rain of confetti like fractal motes of light. "Come on guys," Wulfrin said as he scooped up Koko. She meant what she said when she said all children deserved to be kept safe. It killed her to pass by the orphanage when she would go through the Town of Beginnings. Ciela knew that Koko was just an NPC child, but the sentiment was still the same. "Let's get you home little one." Her tone was nurturing. She stroked the child's hair. Almost like she had felt the pain that Choshi was feeling, and the fear that Koko felt. She must be so scared without her mom. Before too long, the four of them arrived back in Urbus. Ciela spotted Choshi and set Koko down. Koko ran to her mother, and Choshi got on one knee and got on her daughter's level. Immediately Choshi hugged her child tightly. "I'm sorry, Mama!" She wails, her tiny arms wrapping around her mother's waist as she buries her face into her shirt. "I-I won't get into trouble again, I-I promise!" Choshi's face slowly morphs from surprise to pure joy before she hugs her child back. "It's okay, sweetie. I know you didn't mean for it to happen," she murmurs, coaxing her child as she runs her hand down Koko's hair soothingly. She looks up at the player(s) and gives them a thankful smile. "Thank you... I cannot even explain how grateful I am to you. I am forever in your debt, both me and Koko are." The mother chuckled, tugging on the cheeks of her daughter before she reaches into her dress, pulling out a pouch. "I know it's not much, but please, take it," she says, handing the player(s) the pouch. "It's some money I scraped together... and a little something extra." She looks down at Koko and sighs. "Again, thank you for saving her. I have no idea what I would do if Koko was harmed... and speaking of Koko, what do we say?" Koko lifts her face from her mother's clothes and gives the player a toothy grin. "Thank you for saving me!", Koko blurted. "Well that's a job well done, I wanna go home and take a nap." Ciela said curtly. "It was nice meeting you Etherial. Feel free to come hang out sometime!"
