[PP-F05] I hate sand. It's rough, course, and it gets everywhere.

Wulfrin wasted no time returning to action. He was ready to get these bandits off his trail and this one in particular had dodged every strike he sent its way. Wulfrin dashed forward in the same stance he had done on every other attack, but notably his blade did not glow with the light of a Sword Art. Instead as the bandit moved to dodge the strike again, Wulfrin quickly pivoted the oposite direction, his blade's pommel glowing with the golden light of a sword art meant to stun and incapacitate. The blow landed square in the bandits back, sending them reeling down to the ground as their HP dropped to zero. At last the final bandit had been reduced to nothing more than a small info screen of loot.

"Well that's that," Wulfrin said as he dusted off his hands. "Before we leave we should make sure there isn't anything left for us. We didn't exactly get a reward from Zamek."

Ciela was exhausted, and it was evident in her expression. "Good job, honey," she muttered, the fatigue weighing heavily on her. The relentless heat was starting to take its toll. She reached for the metal canteen she had brought, padded to keep the ice water cool. But as she took a sip, she realized the water had become just as hot as the air around them. So much for staying refreshed, she grimaced at the lukewarm drink.

With a tired sigh, she looked over at Wulfrin, her eyes reflecting her weariness. "We’re done now, right? Can we go home?" she asked, her voice carrying a hint of desperation for rest. But instead of agreeing, Wulfrin suggested they search for a chest to at least get some sort of reward since Zamek hadn’t provided one. Reluctantly, Ciela nodded and began to search, her steps heavy with exhaustion. At last the notification popped up that she'd found a chest and she presented it to Wulfrin.

"Sweet you found one!" Wulfrin exclaimed as Ciela placed the chest before him exhausted. "Lemme get this open and we can go."

Wulfrin set to work getting the chest open. There wasn't much in it, but it was much better than nothing at all. Both of them were going to need all the items, col and materials they could get their hands on, since the raid of floor 28 was creeping closer and closer by the day. Wulfrin carefully distributed the rewards as best he could, separating the col and materials into even piles for him and Ciela. She had found the chest after all; it would be bad sportsmanship to not give her something from it. 

"I kept the three unidentified items," Wulfrin said as he presented the bundle of col and materials to Ciela. "I met up with a new player a few days ago and kind of made a deal to give him my unidentified items to fund his new appraisal shop. You can have these bundles of Col and Mats though. Let's get out of this desert."

Their affairs settled, the duo began the long trek back to the Warp Gate. Without the penalties placed by the sandstorm and Zamek, the hike was significantly shorter. The duo returned to Wulfrin's house on floor 22 and both passed out almost immediately from exhaustion.
