Even with popular computer programmers as parents. Games was not Oshiro Rina's thing. It was more of her brother, Oshiro Io's hobby to play. He was a gamer without a doubt, with the latest games to fill his room. He was even one of the few people that were able to play SAO's beta test. Rina barely had time with Io. He was always playing inside his room, weekends were never spent with her, but with his computers. Rina felt ever so lonely, for there was only 2 of them living in Japan (for their parents work abroad). As a result, Rina craved for a big brother figure. She also led a healthy lifestyle aquiring many friends that somehow helps her to overcome the need for a big brother.

During SAO's official release, Rina seized the opportunity to enter Io's world. Lining up for hours to get the game. Imagining her brother's proud reaction. Not even aware of the horrors that awaits an inexperienced gamer such as her.

Virtues:

Honesty Lyra always tells the truth, its just either that or she'll just say nothing at all.

Sportsmanship Lyra loves a good player. "No cheating and no hard feelings makes up a good game" is her motto.

Frugality lyra hates wasting stuff. She'll never spend for anything she does not need.

Curiosity Another reason why Lyraentered SAO, was because of her curiosity of her brother's world. She believes that being curious about the things around you makes you more knowledgable.

Flaws

- Because of her great need for a big brother figure. Lyra quickly submits to any male player that would call her "Imouto" "Imouto-chan" "Imouto-San" or any term of endearment that means little sister. It works like hypnotism, to the point that she will do anything for that person.

Note: This does not work with Female players

Lyra also enters another state (develops another personality) when this happens.

-Tickling her under her chin also makes her submissive to the people around her, though not as powerful as calling her little sister.

-She's also not that great in taking orders, because of her clumsiness (most of the time, because of her fear of messing up)

Story thus far

>> Lyra enters the game of Sao, and was terrified when announced that it was being turned into a death game, where players needed to survive. She never went out of the safe zones, even after several floors were cleared.

she took her courage to go out of the safe zones, for she was not able to eat good food, only the cheap bread bought in the bakery and was able to make friends with some players. That thought her important lessons in living in sao.

Namely, they were: Archer, Rage, Koutei and Kat

Upcoming stories

>> Lyra meets her brother's friend in a quest. She asks him of Io, but he didn't know. Promised to help her in finding him.

>> Floor 2 (quest) Lyra hears of beta testers trying to clear the game.

>> Floor 3 Lyra decides to become a clearer (talks to friend).

>>Floor 5 or higher. Lyra meets, Io's gaming friend. He invites her to go to the dungeon. The friend died in therr, protecting Lyra. Lyra sends the message to his younger sister in a town in floor 5(or higher). The sister hated her. And Lyra left.
