Appearance: 

Short light-skinned girl with dark brown hair that's almost always in a ponytail reaching past her shoulders. Her eyes are also dark brown and she has long brown eyelashes. She usually wears a purple shirt with a flame on it and some blue jeans, coupled with black trainers. Always wears blue and pink-rimmed square-shaped glasses and a leather bracelet with a heart pendant. Tara never wears any makeup, preferring a natural look. Her weapon of choice is always slung by her side. 

Background:

Tara was born in an urban city to a simple shop clerk and police officer. They were loving parents, but worked a lot, so she was left with her grandmother a lot and she ended up raised by three people. She learned to read when she was only 4 years old and books have been her love ever since, especially ones about magic and fantasy worlds. She also learned to draw around a decade later and found art to be the perfect medium for her to bring her characters and worlds to life. Throughout her entire childhood, she had no real friends outside of her online ones. However, once she entered university, she finally found her place as a student of international relations and diplomacy. Even after many years, she stuck to her online friends, her drawings and books, rather than going out and partying like the rest, which led her to become somewhat of a social outcast.  Wishing to finally earn her place in society and prove all the people who think success for a disabled person is impossible wrong, she finally landed an intern job.

On the side, she enjoyed creating content and sharing her love for games with the world. She developed a love for games when she was a child, a passion that stayed with her even though she’s still quite mediocre at most of them to this day, which means she often has to ask for help with quests in any game she plays. That love for sharing gaming content brought her to SAO. She really wanted to try out this hit new MMO, having loved MMOs before, but never really being able to get into them....but this was a whole new technological marvel, it could bring her tons of fun and lots of content views! Also, it may finally let her walk like a normal person! Little did she know that it would also become her new home against her will...She just hopes she can survive. Despite her fear of death, she also worries...What if this makes her lose her job?!

Virtues

Chatty: Tara is someone who can talk for hours on end, especially if the topic interests her. She does her best to stay open-minded and respect others’ opinions. She truly believes there's something to be learned from everyone she meets. 

Hard-working: She’s very determined and works hard to achieve what she wants, even though she thinks of herself as lazy most of the time. You give her a task and she'll do her absolute best with it and try to be done as soon as possible so she can relax. She calls this "being too lazy to procrastinate."

Just:  She hates just how unfair the world is and wishes she could use her knowledge to influence things in the political sphere of things. You could say she’s a justice warrior. Her hatred towards conflict and how those in power use the smaller people to further their gains only increased after being trapped in SAO. Now, she strives to learn as much as she can about the game's systems so she can help weaker players survive. 
 

Flaws

Doesn't trust easily: It’s hard for her to bond with others. She’s an extrovert and rather open about her life, but it takes a while for her to trust someone and that person has to prove themselves a friend to her. However, once she considers someone a true friend, she will do everything she can to help them, as they help her….if they can get past her bluntness.

Hot-tempered: It’s easy to get her angry, especially if someone says something she deems stupid. She tended to snap rather quickly, in the past, but now mostly seethes in her mind for a bit and lets it go. It's not like she has time for pettiness when everyone's lives are on the line. 

Low self-esteem: She likes to think of herself as intelligent, but her self-esteem is so volatile that it changes after each victory or defeat in life. She doesn't allow herself to do anything without some feeling of anxiety, believing that's the only way she'll succeed, since she's failed when she'd been too confident before. Especially now that her skills and reflexes are tested on the daily, her self-esteem keeps taking hit after hit.
