Seeing Freyd dart around and the other two unknown kin from the front lines, it was all happening so fast. Shiina behind the noise with an amazing blend of music that she created herself, it was magnificent. Be that as it may, Eruda couldn't focus. Trying to get into the fray, finding her feet sliding instead of walking, in that moment she knew there was no hope staying on her feet. Those feet come out from beneath her frame landing on her butt into a large puddle of seeping green goo. Laying on her back now looking up at the 2 creatures that were seeming glancing back at her. Knowing that if they had the capability of laughing they would... Face shift into the brightest red that it could manage, slowly getting up covered in slime guts, trying not to look at anyone in-particular. There was no pride today, but next time... Next time she would make them pay... Bow falls out of her hair onto the ground beside her, causing that green streaked blonde strings to fall against her cheeks.

Twirling on his heels as multiple attacks come in, showers of sparks ringing out with each successive blow. The nomad holds fast and seems as though not an inch of ground was being taken, each parried attack simply being glanced off to his left or right. A push and sudden sideswipe, Raidou reaches down and grabs his wife in a quick shift. "It happens." The wanderer submits with a smile, proving his strength as he lifts the blonde with his left arm despite her heavy armor and bells and whistles easily making her heavier. "If you don't mind..." He'd turn the Ebon Vanguard to where the flat of the blade was pointed past her. The fuller placed against her shield, Raidou quickly tears it down her shield and takes advantage of its ability to spark flames. Caught upon the weapons surface is her blue hued fire. "Duty calls." He'd offer a light tap on her cheek, spinning his grip on his weapon with a twirl that hisses from the motion. Allowing air to hit the palm of his hand, before without warning his stance swaps and he gains some nasty velocity. The attack connects sending a steaming hot mess of goo spraying against the sewer wall, causing a quivering now puddle of pudding to shriek as it tries to reform.

Pure Structure: Any DoT effects on the boss will last half their original duration, except for Burn. Afflicting the boss with Burn will also deal double damage to it.
Royal Gel: On an MD 9-10, the <<Slime King>> will launch an AoE attack at the four players with the highest hate, dealing 160 DMG and afflicting them with T4 Blight for two turns. This skill cannot occur once <<Gelatinous Form>> has activated.
Quick Split: On a CD 9+ and LD 10+, the <<Slime King>> will not attack and instead, summon a <<Slime Abomination>> to his aid. A <<Slime Abomination>> can only be summoned once per turn. This skill is deactivated once <<Gelatinous Form>> has activated twice.
Gelatinous Form: Every time the boss’ health reaches 0, two more Kings will spawn, using the next lowest HP available. If a Slime King with the lowest amount of max HP possible dies, he will not spawn any more.

In sequence with Raidou's moves, Morningstar attacked the remaining Slime Worms. He grunted, swinging Dying Sun as hard as he could. The leftmost slime took the full force of his burst, spraying the far wall with green goo as it exploded. It quickly dissolved into nothing, and they were left with one enemy to slay. Star pivoted into it, slashing thrice before finding his sword stuck in its gut (or where it would have been if it had a gut). He tugged and tugged to no avail. He glanced over at this party, smirking awkwardly as he attempted to retrieve his sword. "Okay, someone just kill this thing," he said, fed up with the slime. He let go of his blade, stepping a few feet back while Wulfrin moved in to take the mob out. His sword slowly sank deeper and deeper into its gelatinous body. "That's gonna need a wash."

A perfect opening was created for Wulfrin to charge in. With a sweeping upwards slash Wulfrin cleaved through the remaining slime causing it to scatter against the ceiling. Dying Sun clattered against the ceiling following the monster's deconstruction. With precision Wulfrin caught the blade on its decent with his open hand. For a brief moment he stood holding both blades before flicking Dying Sun clean of ooze and tossing Morningstar back his blade. Both blades would need a nice polish after they were done, but there should be no lasting damage by Wulfrin's best guesstimate.

"Obi wan would be displeased if you misplaced this," Wulfrin smirked. "Besides dual wielding ain't my style."

He let out a soft chuckle before turning his attention back down the sewer tunnel. There was more uncomfortably wet sounds. No doubt there were more gelatinous enemies making their way towards them.

"Jokes aside," Wulfrin leveled his blade in the direction of the noises. "We've got more slimes incoming."

A sound of sour spitting and fervent nose blowing followed.

"Sorry. A bit got up my schnoz, there, for a second."

Absolutely slathered into decomposing slime, Freyd look like a total madman, probably due in part to Shiina's influence raging through his digital veins. A tender smile crossed his drooping features as he watched Raidou and Eruda sharing a moment, the surrounding sewers only offering more poignant contrast.  Wulfrin and Morningstar were both doing their bro thing, which was also cool.  It was so nice that toxic slime could bring people together.  The moment Wulfrin mentioned another incoming wave, though, all pensive contemplation was off.  Like a kid hyped up on sugar-frosted coffee beans, Freyd literally bounced off the walls, crashing into one mob after another, leaving Looney-Toons shaped holes in successive mobs until he finally lost his footing and skid right past the last too while riding his own face.

Even from this far away, the rest of the party could see him giving them a thumbs up.  For a true grinder, this disgusting hellhole was akin to pure and absolute heaven.

Strength in Numbers: If any other Slime monsters are alive, every second attack, the <<Slime Abomination>> will instead heal every Slime for its DMG.
Unison: If another Slime monster falls, <<Slime Abomination>> will gain +10 DMG for the rest of the battle.

Note: Mobs do no meet loot minimums.

His hair plastered off to one side as if it had been doused in an entire can of hairspray, given he was standing near inches from the nickelodeon splash zone. This quickly transitioned from a game to a tv game show. Raidou lifts his hands to his face, removing his glasses and giving them one solid swing causing a splatter of gunk to slap against the dirty stone floor. The other hand slides down his face and reveals a smile beneath the mess, to which the nomad wouldn't have worn before now. As if the constant stoicism had been washed away with the coming marriage, or perhaps a visit to that cherry blossom tree had done him some good. "My question is, why does it smell like leather?" slinking the lenses back onto his nose and fanning out the flames of his blade with a twist. "How are we holding up?" He offers @Wulfrin & @Morningstar to which were easily holding their own. His attention shifts to Eruda "Your up, gives me time to recharge." He'd pat her square on the shoulder as a single strand of slime slowly stretches from the ceiling above.

The sudden discharge of liquid like a watermelon fired out of a gauss cannon, the place is immediately painted lime green and begins to drip from every available pipe and drain. Even the sewer grates above were dripping, which means some poor passerby probably just got a lime green surprise in a place where the sun didn't shine. Shiina gets immediately coated from head to toe on one side, like a makeshift snowman that had a fight with a can of spray paint and lost. Moments later her eyes reopen and its the only visible show of a human under the mound. Wiggling like a dog, her flippers start to flip out spraying the junk around in droves. "AGAIN!~" Shiina squeals looking off toward Freyd, always the fun bag of happy accidents. Hands lift with that child like wonder, but her demeanor turns from chipper to demonic. Smile grows dark and her eyes flare in a yellow as she focuses the powers earned. Another ring of green overlaps and joins the prior, turning on a dime she'd focus on @Wulfrin who would feel a sudden jumpstart, his stamina bar turning a bright blue color as she seems to clasp onto the object in her HUD and start 'upping the volume' as if it was merely a suggestion.

Standard Recovery +4 EN

Wulfrin managed to get the weapon back for star, good. Freyd slid into a face plant of slime, she could only imagine what it would taste like... Making a weird face thinking about it as a hand touches her shoulder. "Always," Eruda would smirk at her response, knowing that it could have different meaning. Face turns a bit red, shaking her head with a shy smile peering on her face now. "I will buy you time," correcting trying to get the previous thought out of her head. Seeing the slimmed creature separating, "No need to leave, CATCH" as a huge burst of blue flames mix with the textures around them. Cyan heat crashes toward them with a squeal from them both. Right then Eruda moves her shield up as they begin smashing against her mindlessly. Getting a small wift of what her future husband said, glancing around to the others, "Did I set someone on fire?" It was the only thing that made some sense as to why leather would be in the scent.

The girl sat there, smoldering as her hair fuzzes out in the most 70's fashion. Seemingly completely unfazed at the fact she was currently on fire, one could even see her health tick down then immediately refill back to full. "Heh, toasty." Shiina comments before flailing around and putting out the fire, turning and recharging the giant red symbol on the floor. It surges and the music strikes in that same chaotic melody of mismatched sounds. Weapons around the chamber respond and start to glow brightly without any direct intervention from their wielders. Vibrant shades of color like lanterns in this decrepit and smelly place, causing the pools of goo to shine with the sudden surge of luminosity. "Go Go, @Freydour man. If he cant smash it no one can!" The cheerful and borderline psycho path carrying pom poms kept up her crazed escapade of making anything within earshot underestimate just exactly what nightmares she could induce.

He retrieved his sword with a clean catch. Flicking slime off of it, he thanked Wulfrin for the assist. Raidou checked in on them, and Star replied with a succinct, "good."

Morningstar was always in awe of Freyd's strength. It was incredible how quickly he could disperse the slimes, picking off many in a handful of quick attacks. The wave had been nearly destroyed, but for a few left staggered. Star joined his party, clicking his heels and charging into the nearest polyp. He hit it hard and strong, burning through its health bar and shredding its defenses. Unfortunately, it was not quite enough, and the goopy creature lived to see at least a few more seconds. Star repositioned behind his frontline, happy to stand far back from the slimes. It was bad enough they were waltzing through the sewers; he didn't need any more goo on himself or his weapon.

"Good for the moment," Wulfrin replied to Raidou's check in. A burst of energy surged though his virtual form once again, except this time it wasn't just his sword that shined with light. His energy was creeping down to the halfway mark before surging back with new life. "I think I can hold out, but I'm working with a smaller reserve compared to the rest of the group. I'll definitely need a recharge when we're done, but for now I think I can manage."

Freyd and Morningstar both charged forward, pressing the parties already strong advantage over the enemy forces. Freyd left comical holes in several slimes as he rushed the tunnel. Several of the slimes scattered against the walls like bugs on a windshield. Morningstar followed up with a clean strike to one of the two remaining slime creatures. That left one at pretty much at full health. Rather than go for his typical AoE stun plans, Wulfrin charged forward with a crescent arc of a slash, carving a large gash into the mostly untouched enemy. May as well not waste the energy if the others can just mop up the rest.

The bolstered energy reserves were a large help in keeping him in the fight, but he knew his reserves would still deplete much faster than the others. All he could do was hope it was slow enough that he didn't give out when it mattered most.

Spiraling up and around the round tunnel walls, Freyd fell like a missile on one of the two remaining slimes, smashing it with a full piledriver dive that sprayed its resulting fractal burst to temporarily brighten the dimly lit sewers.  Snaring a stray bone from within his first victim, he flung it a the lone remaining target without much effect.  Without system support, he was literally trying to pin Jell-o to the wall and having about as much success as one might expect.

"Bah!  Never was that good at single targets," he muttered under his breath.  "Hang in there, Star and Wulfrin.  Your moment is coming up as soon as we find the big boss dude.  Team tech and our resident Roman candle will mess him up something fierce."  Flinging his thumb over his shoulder sent a string of bioluminescent green gunk into Eruda's hair. A swift spin kick splattered half of the sole surviving slime Shiina's way, but failed to completely finish it off.

"Someone want to pick up my slack and take the last of that out?  What do you think, Rai?  Do we take a quick rest, or dive right in?"

The wanderer turns his blade in his hand, dipping the steel in goo from where Freyd had sprayed it to coat the length. This shit was flammable after all. With a jerk, he places the point against that wall and rips it down like a match. This causes the blade to burst into flames. "I think a quick recharge in order. The king is a battle of staying power and we need to be prepared to run out of juice." It would also allow their abilities to recharge a bit without taking too awful long. This is the point where he'd look to his future wife. "Once he's active we just need to keep in lit. Keep those burns going." His eyes advance to Shiina, offering a set of instructions as well before his eyes play to the others in his party. "I'll make sure there are no interruptions, give a holler once your good to continue." A twist of his blade sees the flames upon them go out, before he spins it around and sheathes it behind his right shoulder.

Down the narrow tunnel they'd found themselves down, he'd cordon the area for a sufficient short rest by the rest of his group.

Making a small noise from under her breath, Eruda's reaction was picking up a slime ball and throwing it at Freyd as Raidou takes the remaining creation down. Freyd does a weird twist as the slime flies right past him. Should of known, accuracy wasn't really high on her skill list. Taking a deep breath playfully glaring toward the man, hearing her future husband speak... "Oh uh," clearing her throat turning her eyes to meet his for a brief second before answering, "Yea I will be ready," with a smile. Knowing it was a bit childish to react so weird but this was the true her now. Protective yet capable, ready for anything with a splash of fun... This was fun. Seeing the other leaning against the cave walls, Eruda felt fine though. "I will keep watch, you guys get some rest," glancing to her party mates with a welcoming smile. Keeping the slimy content on her sword but brushes of what she could from her shield. Eruda slowly paces, watching to entrance and exits so they weren't surprised.

"No arguments from me," Wulfrin said as he found a relatively clean place to sit for a moment. "My stamina was running pretty low, so a rest would be extremely welcome."

Wulfrin sat with his blade across his lap. With a few swipes of his inventory menus, he retrieved a small leather bag of sorts. Inside he kept his "go-bag", a collection of simple tools, oils, and other useful things for maintaining his gear in the field. While durability wasn't actually a problem in SAO, he found it added to the realism just a bit more. It also helped him pass a time a bit quicker with a project to work on. He knew full well this would not be the end of the slime army, but even the small burst it had gone through had left its mark. Wulfrin began meticulously going over every square inch of the blade, cleaning and sharpening as he went.

"Star," Wulfrin said as he looked up from his current project. "Would you like me to give Dying Sun a once over while I'm at it?"

Star felt okay, but if Wulfrin was taking a break anyway he thought he would do the same and regain some energy. The offer to look over his sword was a nice gesture. He slid it back into its sheath and tossed it over. "Do your thing, blacksmith."

He wanted to sit, but reconsidered when he looked at the ground. Some sick concoction of slime, sewage, and dirt marked up the floors. Star felt gross touching it, even with his boots. He wasn't trying to ruin his jacket as well. So instead, he stood around uncomfortably, waiting for the bar on his HUD to recharge.

"How's it looking? I try to take care of it, but it's not really my expertise," he admitted, referring to the sword. A rat scurried over his foot, startling him. Thankfully, it was smaller than what he was used to. In the Taft sewers, he'd run into a few that were quadruple the size and a lot more violent.

"It's definitely seen better days," Wulfrin said as he went to work on Dying Sun"You've put some serious miles on it."

Wulfrin slaved away over Morningstar's blade, arguably more so than his own. He took pride in the work he did for others, his little way of giving back to all those who had helped him get as far as he had. Once the last of the slime and corrosion had been removed from the blade, Wulfrin returned it to Morningstar.

"You should probably take the time to get your gear looked at now and again." He said with a smirk. "Our weapons here are what vehicles are to us in the real world. They are invaluable tools and if you take care of them, they will take care of you."

Wulfrin let out a brief chuckle before he immediately went silent. He swore he could hear movement further down the tunnel where the Firm Anima members had gone to scout ahead. About that time his energy bar filled to max.

"We should get moving," Wulfrin suggested. "I have a feeling the worst is yet to come."

He watched how the redcoat fixed up Dying Sun, out of curiosity more than anything. Blacksmithing was outside of his expertise, and he was always interested in their practice. The weapons Star worked on were premade, their stats hidden beneath lines of code. He had little say in the results of his work, as they were largely predetermined. Smithing, however, was more of an artform, and Star's blade was proof of that. Wulfrin handed back the blade, and Star was pleased with how nice it looked after all of the slime had been removed. "Good advice," he replied. "Thanks. I'll stop by your shop more often for maintenance." 

He nodded to Wulfrin in agreement. "Yeah, let's catch up," he said, announcing to Eruda that they were ready to go. They sped through the sewers, towards their party members up ahead, dodging slime and a variety of other mucky things along the way.

Squealing the girl broadcasts the sudden appearance of the foe to which the party shot. "I found 'im guys, the nerds in a bucket!" Grabbing the pail she tosses it out across the floor in a sickly slap as it smears across the floor in a large splash. It doesn't take more than a few moments before it starts to collect and form up a larger mass, easily dwarfing Shiina in height by about 4 feet. Collecting in that soup as it joins up and forms, a rusted sword which flows straight through its body before it pops out of the creatures hand. This would be the point she would see the whizz of her party members rushing past her in droves, at such blinding speeds it makes her hair flow forward as strings of light denote sword arts carrying them like rockets. "Have fun, Let um have it!" the songstress chirps as she fumbles into her plate armor like an oversized coat and starts seeking out the performance crystals inside. Girl looks like turtle with its head stuck in a shell.

Hearing Morningstars voice echo through the caves, they were good. Seeing Shiina platter the bucket revealing the Large forming slime. It was on closing the distance, Raidou was already on moving toward the creature. Eruda starts to run toward the monstrosity, before losing her footing, sliding toward Raidou now. All she kept telling herself was don't fall, don't fall, don't fall, before catching herself against Raidou. Bracing herself, what seemed like a half hug. "Sorta hate this slime stuff, thought I was a klutz before," a small chuckle before readjusting herself, releasing Rai. Small peck on the cheek before peeling her shield up in front of her. "Let's do this," glancing toward the other party members who were now just entering the fray. Good, maybe they didn't see it this time. Dragging her sword against the metaled defense before her weapon ignites, it was a missed opportunity but she would be ready next time.
