BASTION Growing up Daichi was always loud and never afraid of anything. His family was always proud of him for always having an upbeat and positive attitude no matter the situation. He was friends with all the kids in his neighborhood and he was always at the front leading them to one adventure after the next. Despite loving to play outside and explore, he always had a love for video games. He would spend hours at a time either at his own house, or at his friends playing whatever they could get their hands on. As the years went on his love only grew stronger for them. His room was a game collector's dream, with consoles and various games on shelves for all to see. After graduating from high school Daichi decided to pursue a career in game design, enrolling in an art college in order to get his degree. While enrolled Daichi decided to try and do research on VR games for a project. His university had a few NerveGear that were given to them by Argus for future designers to test out, so he checked a model out along with SAO. TRAITS Spoiler Virtues Courageous. Daichi has always been known to be the one to lead the way. No matter the danger or the outcome he is always the first one to step up to the challenge. Even in the face of the things he fears he doesn't waver. Friendly. With a bright smile and a boisterous voice, Daichi will always manage to make friends with whoever he can. He is always ready with a firm handshake and a positive attitude. There are very few people that he can't eventually become friends with. Humorous. When the mood is down and people are gloomy, Bastion is always ready to crack a joke or find a way to make people smile. He's not afraid to embarrass himself in order to get a few laughs. Whether is be a joke or some well placed sarcasm, and sometimes not so well placed, he can get a smile from those around him. Flaws Shortsighted. Daichi is known to walk headfirst into a conflict without thinking about the end result. He tends to have tunnel vision when it comes to any sort of conflict and often overlooks the finer details. If a situation requires a more delicat approach then he will pass the reigns over to someone more suited to lead. Transparent. Bastion is an individual that wears his thoughts and feeling on his sleeve, and every other part of his clothing. He doesn't mask his emotions well and has trouble lying about them. He often will be direct with his criticisms and while he means no ill will, can more often than not offend someone with his words. Unrealistic. With his always moving forward attitude, Daichi tends to overlook the effort it takes to get from point A to point B. Even though he might be able to barrel through a problem, the others he is with can't always keep up with his pace. He has a hard time understanding why people can't keep up with him in these situations.
