Through the crags of sand, past the bubbling ocean on his immediate left. The soft rapping of crunching joins the sounds of waves upon the shore. Various palms seem to sway in that wind, and like the leaves the nomads hair follows the same flow. "How are we fairing?" He offers with a smile to his companions who were just as eager. Some had seen this place before, others had not. A question of attire was in order, this was probably the first time they'd ever imagined seeing Raidou in a pair of swim trunks. He'd move to the edge and start by folding out a place for them all to sit. They needed a sense of rest and relaxation. Away from the hustle and bustle of the guild affairs in a violent scream of activity.

As the blanket is unfurled Raidou takes a seat, unfolding a large parasol and planting it into the sand.

Starting Stealth Roll: 226496, LD 4 + 3 = Failure!

A day away from the dark and decrepit sewers. As much as the resistance effort was important, when invited to just get away the woman couldn't help but escape for the day. Which begged the question as to why she was invited at all? Her efforts and the guilds hardly aligned and yet, the prompt popped despite the fact. Wearing a simple galtean wrap in shorter sleeves and pants, basically wearing something akin to a tank top and shorts. She'd add a couple things to the blanket, eying the shore as a way to avoid the elephant in the room. The blood raven wasn't exactly the most comfortable to be around, and her history didn't allow her any pleasantries like these. Folding her arms and resting her head on her knees, she inhales deep trying to accept this as some sort of new norm? Somewhere deep down she wanted to say thank you, but that would never come out.

"Thanks man." Gaius drops with an equal smile, adding his own food to their growing potluck. All that time spent behind an oven, given that his tavern had really picked up in business. Couple that with Freya's aloof running around like a scatterbrained mouse, left him stuck at home babysitting a small gerbil and his tiny bear. Which wasn't at all easy, one was bad, two was a kitchen catastrophe. The sheer amount of times he'd have to clean up a 10lbs bag of flour that had been trailed throughout the whole building.... The man sighs, looking out to the water. "You think its safe?" He'd nudge Celeste trying to draw the girls input. He knew that type, fuck he'd been that type. But she paid him no answer, and he'd look back to Raidou as the others gathered around. "Hey, check it." Leaning into his inventory with a bit more dexterity then usual. The pleasures of having to pull shit out on a dime when your food is cooking. He'd add a couple bottles to the top before cracking one open. When it was opened, it would be began to bubble. "Cracked the code on carbonation, took way too long. Give it a taste, tell me what you think."

In some scanty little number, of course it was black. It was like strips of ink on a white canvas. The woman wasn't exactly the warmest skin tone, and she seemed to bring with her an entire building in some draped bag on her right shoulder. "Been a while.." she'd offer as she'd look up to the sky. The last time she'd actually took a trip and ended up on a beach had to be Le Concha, which was years ago. "Damn has it been that long..." Another spoken thought beneath her breath, beginning to glean just how long they'd been trapped in this damn game. Yet the sand beneath her feet, the warmth and the crosswind. A gentle chill, it all seemed so real. Yet it wasn't. The sudden *thunk* causes her to look over toward the three collecting on a blanket. It hisses and the woman's eyes would seem to gain a whole new light. "Uh...G..." Struggling to remember the dudes name for a moment before it falls into place, she'd never really used it. "Gaius!" The decree as it pops into her skull "You've outdone yourself~" A musical twist, a little obtuse for the woman. "Think a girl can trouble you for some champagne next?" Because that was a pleasantry in here that was hard as hell to buy.

Scampering out into the water in a jubilant screech, little Shiina manages to get roughly 5 steps out before the water gets to her kneecaps. As soon as the resistance starts, she immediately faceplants with a large *slap*. Its even with enough force that her HP pops up for a second there, before the recovery kicks in and makes it vanish. Then drifting with the waves, she is slowly pulled back in towards shore flipping over onto her back the little frills on her swimsuit trailing in the water. Nothing more then a sea of giggles as she floats around, she'd look out as her hair billows around. "Bro it cold." she'd yell to her beach buddies, before continuing the statement. "But come on butt heads, we aint come to a beach to sit on the beach. Food can wait." The girl would stir around in a quick twist, causing the water to wrap her. A quick shove sees a trail of droplets fire toward Simmone. Shiina would distort her face, and lower her voice to sound like a great big man "come in de watah sweet cheeks..." before she'd whistle twice and her expression would change into a smirk.

Folded arms as she'd eye from the brush, sporting a mischievous smile as her agents had found themselves a moment of relaxation. "It would seem, that your timing impeccable." Her voice would raise as she'd begin to bridge the gap, catching the expressions on some of their faces seem to shift. But her stroll doesn't stop as they seem to adjust, some a little curious and others taken aback. "Now now... best not be hasty." She'd check on as some were attempting to gear up. "But I suggest you continue that thought..." The woman offers as she gestures with a point toward the far end of the beach. "As fate would have it... You picked a bad time to take a personal day." She'd offer a placid face, as the sand began to give way revealing heavier claws. Breaking out of the stuff in droves two big meaty claws are the first to escape. "To arms!" She offers a twist as a raise in her voice.

The sand disturbed as that nice lady from the woods pops into their beach party, Shiina still splashing around. The sudden lack of conversation between the party causes her focus to twist, searching their eyes for a source of attentions. "Oh, HI~" Shiina chirps, for the girl was pretty well aquanted with her. "You come to...." The sentence breaks off and falls flat, as some 50 or so feet away giant enemy crab. Like a walking tank it slowly saunters toward the only living things on the beach, with each heavy stomp sending sprays of sand in clouds. The thing was massive, easily dwarfing a small building, gainly with a pair of claws that could easily carry a man in each. Without warning the girl slips into her inventory, and like a major league pitch a singular performance song sails across the sand. With a heavy thud, it hits the sand cutting a small impact. Seconds after it begins to play a somber tone, and Shiina's eyes twist to a sharp contrast in yellow. Her own voice joining the sonate and causing it to surge with power, drawing a huge ring of red.

Without warning that woman from a few days ago just seems to pop up out of the woodwork. Straight in from the trees, waltzing in as if she owned the place. Before Celeste could even fully brandish her weapon, her vision is gestured to seeing some large creature rising up out of the beach. "Oh for fucks..." The woman allows the words to escape her, but the venting works to clarify her irritation. Cleaver manifests as her inventory slams shut, locking eyes with the woman as she'd start to walk toward the crab. Horizon on her right, as the music begins to play. Celeste's weapon sparks with flames and ire, as her target becomes confirmed. The little red cursor locks on, and without a second to spare the blood raven sheers the gap in half. Sand is tossed in a spray, and a singular left to right cleave cuts off an awaiting leg as its tore across the titan's midsection. Flames follow the trail in an aggressive show of sparks.

Dropping the huge bag she'd toted out here with her, basically a damn trunk with straps. "You....here....?" Simmone remarked as her conversation was put on an instant pause, and by the woman from three days ago no less. About to pay out a piece of her mind, broken instantly as a massive shellfish started storming them all, to which Simmones expression sours. Of course, because this happened last time to. The black cat couldn't help but notice the sudden pattern, like this woman was toting misfortune around with her. Rubbing her forehead and adjusting the upper half of her swimsuit, she reaches into her bag and seems to easily pull a rapier that shouldn't be able to fit inside out. "Damn it." Spoken beneath an irritated breathe, just couldn't catch a break could they? The weapon alights like a match to a torch, and without warning a straight line sees the woman impact. Carried through the air like a missile, the sword art doing its trick.

Stuck holding the bottle as the people he was talking with just immediately spring to attention for some reason. Gaius leans back and contorts a bit to peer behind him and see what the source of all the hubbub was. "Can we help you with something?" The dragoon offers trying to understand the sudden stand at attention. He couldn't help but feel a sense of dejavu but couldn't really peg it down. But as the others kept flipping out, flapping into their inventories for weapons Gaius couldn't help to get the sense something was off. He'd look left and right without moving his head, stuck in a stupor before opening his own inventory and popping out his glaive, spear, thing? All the sudden, giant enemy crab and with that surge of excitement Gaius would offer the most refined and philosophical analysis he could ever muster. "That thing is big, You think If I hit it really hard it would skip on the water?"

As the group would charge off leaving her and Raidou locked in a staring contest, she'd walk up to him within a foot. "Nice picnic..." Leaning past him and taking a closer inspection, as if there wasn't an inch of concern within her in the slightest. "You all surely seem to know how to eat." That playful exchange before she'd move to the place and take a seat. Grabbing a sandwich and giving it the strangest inspection, even tilting it a couple times. Eventually she works out how its supposed to be 'used' and takes a single nibble, managing a bite down as she'd tilt her head. "So, odd... Quite the new....experience." She'd lean back and remark to the nomad with his sour demeanor. "Your not going to just stand there...And we both know it. We also both know your trying to decide what to do about me." Her eyes paying more attention to the sandwich as she's since started to pull it apart and look under the hood. "Your wondering, and yet your coming up with no answers."

This woman so obtuse, seeming to pop up out of nowhere at the drop of a hat. It was almost she was instigating the events where she popped up, and yet she always seemed so aloof and disinterested in what was actually happening. Moreover the wanderer has used Tracking on her before, and she just bounces around like wild. This is confirmed after the escapades three days ago, where she seemed to harness some strange skill relating to teleportation that cut her need for teleports considerably. "Why are you...." His sentence is immediately cut short as the woman actually started speaking, and moreover it seemed less 'obtuse'. He'd stand his ground, trying to glean what exactly her intentions were and yet she seemed so off-putting and odd that it was hard to get a real read. A sigh as the nomad couldn't just ignore his friends now battling some creature that seemed to pop up out of nowhere like this. Drawing his blade he charges into combat with a surprising around of speed and fervor, causing lightning to rack the creature in a explosive discharge.

As soon as Celeste connects, Shiina twists her hand and focuses on the woman. Outstretched and open palm, she seems to clamp onto some invisible object and as soon as she does Celeste will see her stamina bar turn a vibrant shade of light blue. With a shift from left to right, much akin to a golf swing Shiina turns up some invisible volume bar. Celeste's stamina jumps upward, and her panting begins to slow. Now linked to the woman, Shiina quickly scampers out of the water with a few splashing footfalls, onto the beach front. The sand clings to the bottom of her bare feet with each passing step. The giant crab continues to storm around, as the players circle it like a bunch of flies over a filled trashcan. "Gotchu homie!~" Shiina squeals as she fires out a thumbs up toward the red head, planting her heels above her performance crystal which gains another ring in bright green.

Standard Recovery +4 EN, HYPER +3 EN, HYPER [1/3]

A turn of the heel as Celeste lands, exhaling a bit from the recent exertion. When what feels like a cool breeze hits her back, and her heartrate seems to lower. A quick jerk sees her lock eyes with Shiina long enough to see a thumbs up. Hesitantly, Celeste lifts a hand and she returns the gesture. A giant crab claw slams toward her, forcing her to break the posture and rip her cleaver up and block the attack. It sends her back, cutting a grove in the sand like a trench. The woman uses her weapon, twisting her grip and shoving the point into the ground as a form of anchor. After a few feet she grinds to a halt, to which she rips it free and starts to beat ass back toward the fight. A sudden flicker, the weapon engulfs in bright blue flames. Two steps is all she manages before she all the sudden catapults into contact, her image converting into a transparent glass before and after. The time between a trail of blue energy not entirely unlike a sword art, but it was her own image being blurred.

The jarring slam as Simmone manages to catch Celeste tear ass in some sort of incorporeal form, but only catching a glimpse from her station on the crabs immediate left. What follows however is the creature bending off to one side, as if she just hit it with an actual train. The sheer force sends it wobbling toward Simmone, who steps back into a pirouette. The edge of her weapon begins in a violet light before it claims the entire length. Completing her turn, her left arm cocks back and she lets it rip. The system helps her fire off 3 sudden strikes in quick succession, each smashing hard and puncturing clean through the shellfishes outer casing and revealing steam and heat beneath. Bits and flakes of the shell sprinkle around before popping away into tiny data fractals of light. The amount of effort behind every blow just to pierce the armor of this thing was quickly draining the groups energy reserves.

Finally managing to fully fill the gap, he didn't quite have the foot speed of these other players. What he did have though, was near flight. He drops into a deep squat, his knees past his shoulders. Wind out of seemingly nowhere begins to swirl around him, creating a pseudo dust devil. Springing his legs unfurl and toss him nigh 50 ft into the air, and on queue his weapon suddenly surges in a lime green energy. Slowly drifting, the fulminating storm rips that weapon up over his right shoulder. The energy builds and builds, causing it to convert from a visible outline of a weapon into what almost looks like a harnessed green sun attached to his wrist. His body contorts leading with his abdomen as he he rips his arm down. What follows is the sudden audio tear of a sonic boom, leaving a trail of white behind a sudden arrow of color. The blast connects with such a vicious slam the weapon goes clean through the crab into the sand below, seeing the entire top half of the creature explode out the top as it cuts through clean.

It collapses and then pops revealing his spear sticking straight up from the sand at a slight angle. Gaius lands about 30 seconds after it does, coming to gentle tap as if gravity was merely a suggestion.

Sitting on the blanket filled with food the woman looks on and watches all of there little forms of show and tell. It would appear as though she was inspecting them just like the sandwich, learning and understanding all the little things that made them tick. Attack after attack, a block here and a skill there. "Interesting, it seems there are imposed limitations on your abilities." The woman murmurs, without a concern to speak her mind and yet it isn't spoken for their benefit. The volume would elude to as much. The crab detonates into a sudden explosion, proving that they had zero issue dispatching the thing. Even in their current questionable attire, they were not exactly sporting real armor. The fact was it was proven almost child's play for them to eliminate the thing, and in response the woman could only offer a single slightly condescending response.

Turning his weapon in his hand, he'd look back to see the woman...clapping? Was this seriously just some sort of joke to her? Did she not realize the seriousness when it came to combat, and the potential threat they were all under. The fact of the matter was their lives were on the line, and here she was acting like it was..."A game." The epiphany was not lost on him, yet it was as if the concerns of the game didn't apply to her at all. Finally having the opportunity, Raidou opens his inventory and begins to put on his real gear. Not knowing what to expect with this woman he was ebbing on the side of caution. He'd look to his companions and scan their demeanors, just to get the sense on how they were interpreting her as well. This is the point where he starts to bridge the gap, offering but a single response to his party "Check the area, we don't want any more surprises."

Shiina blinds past Raidou and the others, joining her friend on the blanket and sitting down next to her. Immediately Shiina offers an open hand toward the woman and high fives her. They had more than easily handled the encounter so Shiina didn't really understand the stink that was lingering between them. "Come on dorks, meet Nisa." Shiina offers a pair of jazz hands toward the woman, drawing attention toward her. After all, a lot of her powers and what not really started after a small talk out in the forest of memories. This chick was super helpful, and any time she had a big question she'd wander off into those woods and inevitably find her out there. This is the point where Shiina takes a couple cupcakes and begins to cram her face, given she didn't get a chance to enjoy anything before they were randomly shoved into the battle of the ages against the giant crab monster.

Filled with a mix of confusion and anger, the woman snaps her HUD open and starts to swap out her gear. Getting into something must more battle ready, as her party began to fan out. There might be a point where Celeste would have charged her down, fuck all forms of caution. Yet from her time playing queen to a bunch of NPC's on floor 26 she now took to a bit of forethought these days. Fighting constant back to back attempts of throwing massive air fortresses at the Galteans by Vex does that shit to a person. A little planning here, a little guerilla tactics there. Wandering around the beach the woman spots something worming around. "Guys I got something over here." She beckons toward the newly formed party.
