Zelrius 0 Posted January 22, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 22, 2014 Zelrius' father burst through the door "GOD DAMN IT! IT IS 9 AM AND YOUR NOT EVEN F***ING UP! GET UP GO TO SCHOOL!" Zelrius shot straight up, the normal feeling of disorientation that comes from waking up usually, was no existent as there was no time for it. This wasn't the first time he was ever late to school, However he was never THIS late. As he undressed, throwing his clothes into his laundry basket and then dressing into something else, He forgot about the anxiety of the events that might happen at school. This was for one simple fact: Today Sword Art Online Launched.
Zelrius 0 Posted January 22, 2014 Author #2 Share Posted January 22, 2014 As he quickly ate breakfast and headed out the door, Zelrius' anticipation grew. He thought of a world where he WAS his character. A World in which the boundaries of Physics were minimized and turned into dull borders instead. Quickly he mounted his bike after pulling through and out of the garage in which he kept the thing parked. This was typical, all he had to do was ride to school. But with every street closer, His anticipation faded and now became worry as he knew what awaited him once he arrived.
Zelrius 0 Posted January 27, 2014 Author #3 Share Posted January 27, 2014 As he knew it. He arrived, always with the teasing right on him. He quickly went to his locker. A Normally light blue color now with smudged red on it from an earlier cruel message that was sprawled on it at one point. When he opened the locker there was his gift. His friend, Adam, just as promised, had left the game in his locker earlier. Sword-art-online, The newest game with the latest technology known as the Nervegear. Zelrius alone would've never been ale to obtain this. Not because he couldn't afford it though.
Zelrius 0 Posted January 27, 2014 Author #4 Share Posted January 27, 2014 No, it was beyond that. It was the timing. In order for Zelrius to get it and keep it he would have to buy it on the day it launched so his dad wouldn't take it away. But of course long long before that day, the game would be sold out. So naturally Zelrius came up with a plan for this. Here's how it goes:
Zelrius 0 Posted January 27, 2014 Author #5 Share Posted January 27, 2014 He would pay Adam Double the money to go obtain the game. Any left over change was his. From then on he would keep the game safe and sound making sure no one else, Not even Zelrius, knew he had it so that the possibility of losing it or getting it taken away was possible. Next Adam would sneak into Zelrius' locker the day of launch. Of course it was more complex then this, But let's keep it simple here.
Zelrius 0 Posted January 27, 2014 Author #6 Share Posted January 27, 2014 There he smirked. closed his to his locker then stopped. He turned around and had to go back down the three flights of stairs to the office. There he had to go for his pass to class for his late. He already knew what was there for him before he got there. He would have to speak to the Vice Principal about how he was a way better kid then to be late and how he could improve on it. Worst part; He'd get sentenced to the system known as "Advanced". Zelrius 0 Posted January 31, 2014 Author #7 Share Posted January 31, 2014 As the day dragged on and on he grew more and more weary. Few kids at school were excited for the game at his school. Why? Because most of them did sports and rarely did video games at all. If they did ANY gaming it was with their phones or the latest console. None of them did computers or "NerveGears" in fact, many of them haven't even heard of it's existence.
Zelrius 0 Posted February 10, 2014 Author #8 Share Posted February 10, 2014 Still, The day dragged on. With little to no Change. Zelrius went through the same notions everyday. Being bored to death in all his classes because of their simplicity. Talking to the Counselor about how smart he was and how he'd do so good if he'd just apply himself. Then exiting and being pushed around a bit by a few other kids that were much bigger than him. Of course none of this stuck out to him. He'd been going through the SAME exact thing for his entire school experience.
Zelrius 0 Posted February 10, 2014 Author #9 Share Posted February 10, 2014 Zelrius continued on. The day becoming even longer throughout. This was his life. To some it seemed like absolute misery. To others it seemed like pure boredom. and to the rest it seemed like nothing bothered him at all. All were wrong. To him, it was bearable. Having little friends, Oh well. Having tons of Bullys? That bothered him. Mastering most video games? Psh, most people could do that nowadays. But not being able to even friend those people? That was painful. So no, It was not any of the above, it was more of an intensified way of hell, with these little ups that always lead to big downs.
Zelrius 0 Posted February 10, 2014 Author #10 Share Posted February 10, 2014 These downs would make most people cry themselves to sleep. They did to Zelrius, at first. But as time dragged on and he got used to it, he barely noticed them. One of these downs was his dad used to make really good money, and Zelrius wasn't so much of a nerd, Then a little magic... and the whole place was turned upside down. His dad's company closed and Zelrius began to shut himself in video games.
Zelrius 0 Posted February 10, 2014 Author #11 Share Posted February 10, 2014 As the years dragged on, His brother began to grow more and more rebellious and more "normal", Also as they went by, Zelrius met various types of "Possible Step-Mothers" who his dad often brang home. None ever lasting more then a few weeks. Until one day, His dad brought home and rather petite and frailer Hispanic woman. Zelrius, at first, paid little attention thinking Great... wonder how this is going to end., Only thing was, it didn't end, The two stayed together.
