Acanthus 0 Posted August 24 #1 Share Posted August 24 <<Storyteller System in effect, Acting as Storyteller>> From the boat approaching Marsonia, it would be nearly impossible to tell anything was wrong. The docks buzz with activity, merchants all over the city boisterously hawk their wares, treating the art of the bargain like a match in the colosseum. Only a keen eye can see that the palace, built at the highest point of the island, stands still like a mausoleum. From the dock to the palace gates, something has the Marsonian guards on edge. The higher up the island you travel, the more nosy they become. Foot traffic into the palace has all but halted, and even those on personal invitation are requested to hand any weapons over before entering. This confiscation is largely security theater—with the right words or a simple sleight of hand, players can easily hold onto their weapons should they choose. The quest icon hovers over the guard captain outside the War Council’s chambers. He regards you gratefully as you approach. “Adventurer,” he begins, “forgive my guardsmen for their attentiveness today. Given the circumstances, it has become hard to trust even our own, let alone outsiders.” The guard captain cracks the door open, and you can make out the faint glow of sunlight in the room beyond. There appear to be two or three voices, raised in a mild argument. “The Chief is talking to his lieutenant. Or rather, his new lieutenant. The Chief should be able to explain more.” A dialogue box opens in front of you. [Accept Quest <<Incognito Antics>>? Wulfrin 0 Posted August 25 #2 Share Posted August 25 The change of tone from the Captain initially shocked Wulfrin. Up until this specific interaction, he had gotten stopped multiple times during his trip through the Marsonian streets. He wasn't very surprised considering his current attire. His travel leathers were charcoal black as was the long weather proof coat. He had the cowl up hoping to draw as little attention as possible, but that probably only added to the suspicions. His blade Icingdeath created a trail of frost vapors around him as its frigid cold blade rest peacefully in its black sheath. To the average eye, one would think he would be the final target of some quest. "Not a problem," Wulfrin nodded to the guard's apology. He seemed to be ushering him into the War Council's chamber. "I'll see what I can do to help." He tapped the confirmation icon on the dialogue box before him as he stepped into the chamber. He only had a cursory idea of what to expect walking in, as there was little provided on the info broker's page reguarding this quest line. The weapon at the end though was his goal. * * * Damage 3 Consumed - Liquor of Light Accuracy 2 Consumed - Creme brulee Evasion 2 Consumed [Filled] - Smores Protein 2 Consumed - breakfast fry Mitigation 3 Consumed - bingsu Field Rations 1 Consumed - +12% Max HP Toxic Venom 3 Consumed - Kintsugi Loot Die 3 Consumed - Gelato Wulfrin | HP: 762/762 | EN: 102/102 | DMG: 28 | MIT:98 | ACC:7 | AA | EVA:3 | BH:17 | REC: 8 | FRB: 40 | TXC-V: 32 | FRZ: 64 | LD:6 Spoiler Name: Wulfrin True Tier: 4 Level: 32 Paragon Level: 0 HP: 762/762 EN: 102/102 Stats: Damage: 28 Mitigation: 98 Accuracy: 7 Evasion: 3 Battle Healing: 17 Loot Die: 6 Stealth Rating: -2 AA REC: 8 FRB: 40 TXC-V: 32 FRZ: 64 Equipped Gear: Weapon/Armor/Trinket: - Icingdeath | T4 Demonic Straight Sword | Freeze 2 | Frostbite | AA Armor/Trinket: - Fallen Angel Garb | T4 Demonic LA | MIT 2 | REC 2 Shield/Armor/Trinket: - Dioscuri | Perfect T1 Trinket | ACC 3 Combat Mastery: - Combat Mastery: Damage R3 Combat Shift: - TECH Shift Familiar Skill: - Rending Familiar Custom Skill: - Skills: - Battle Healing R2 - Charge - Energist - Light Armor R5 - Searching R3 - Straight Sword R5 Extra Skills: - Concentration - Forgotten King's Authority - Frozen Hide - Survival Inactive Extra Skills: Addons: - Ferocity - Precision - Resolve - Stamina Mods: - Meticulous - Night Vision Inactive Mods: Battle Ready Inventory: - Imugi's Inspiration | Mass Healing x5 - Popcorn | T4 Vitality 2 x5 - TP Crystals x5 Housing Buffs: - Bedroom: -1 energy cost for the first two expenditures of each combat - Bathroom: The first time you would suffer DoT damage in a thread, reduce damage taken from DoT each turn by 20% (rounded down) - Basic Workshop: +2 EXP per crafting attempt - Basic Kitchen: Increase the effectiveness of a single food item consumed in a thread by +1 T1 slot. Acanthus 0 Posted August 25 Author #3 Share Posted August 25 As you step into the chamber, the argument becomes more heated. There are two men in the room; the Chief, along with another man—likely the lieutenant the guard captain mentioned. The lieutenant leans over an ornate table. “We simply do not have the resources to gamble away. With Hogo-Sha in the way, nothing is—” His voice cuts off as Chief Mare-Suke raises his hand. “Greetings, adventurer. Your presence is welcome.” The lieutenant glares at you from over the Chief’s shoulder. “Please, take a seat.” The Chief eases himself into one of the simple wooden chairs surrounding the table. Upon closer inspection, “ornate” does a disservice to the table. The table could sit twenty people with little effort, and the edge is emblazoned with a series of pictures depicting what appears to be a myth or story of some sort. The inset of the table is the most impressive of all—a perfect, three-dimensional scale of the Marsonian lagoon rests atop the table. Small wooden pieces and notes written in Marsonian are stuck to critical roads and buildings. The Chief gazes, appearing to take stock of you. His eyes are a deep brown filled with cunning. His wrinkles seem to be trophies as any war general’s battle scars, won from several gauntlets of war and strife. “I have requested you because I need done the one thing I cannot do. My s— my previous lieutenant, a man by the name of Uso-Tsuki, has turned against me. He made an attempt on my life; having failed, he escaped to unknown waters with some of my best men. My new lieutenant,” he gestures to the still-glaring man, “is adamant that he has left for good. But I know Uso-Tsuki better. He will be back.” “It would be a death sentence to return.” The lieutenant spits out. A sadness clouds the Chief’s eyes. “I am not so certain.” He quickly refocuses on you. “Adventurer, I need your help. Will you track him down? I believe he is still on one of the nearby islands, but he will likely flee if you cannot discover his plans unnoticed. I have a man down at the docks who can take you out to the islands. You may also discover some information in the city as well. I leave the details of gathering information up to you.”
Wulfrin 0 Posted August 25 #4 Share Posted August 25 (edited) "Please," Wulfrin said holding up a hand. "No need for titles. Wulfrin is fine." Wulfrin's eyes scanned the room thoroughly. Failed assassination tempts rarely just fade into obscurity. To him anyone in the room could be a possible hostile waiting for him to leave the room. Hopefully the Chief here was smart enough to remove all the guards in association with this Uso-Tsuki. Wulfrin took a seat in one of the vacant chairs and continued listening to the problem laid out before him. "I can look into this Uso-Tsuki," Wulfrin affirmed his choice to accept the quest. "I would like to make a suggestion for your own safety." He looked at one of the guards that seemed to be shifting a bit too much at his post. "Do a thorough check of your guards. There may be some still loyal to Uso-Tsuki in your presence. If you're planning to make counter attacks it's best to only have an entourage of people you trust with your life. Try not to get yourself killed until I get back." It felt odd issuing orders like that to a city Chief, but Wulfrin got the idea he wasn't exactly taking steps to prevent future attacks. In the Chief's defense though he was just following a preset order of operations in his code. NPCs were fickle like that, no matter how many times their quest is cleared, they never seem to learn. He stood from his seat and turned to leave the chamber. Once outside he let out a shrill whistle, like one would use to call their dog. For Wulfrin though, this was a call for his phoenix, Solaris, to regroup with him. "The Cheif sent me to find you," Wulfrin said as he approached the general location of the boat captain, his phoenix familiar resting on his shoulder. "You're supposed to be taking me to the nearby islands so I can look into his little problem right? Or am I looking for someone else?" Edited August 25 by Wulfrin
Acanthus 0 Posted August 25 Author #5 Share Posted August 25 “No, you’ve got the right person. Name’s Ben-Goshi.” He sticks his hand out in welcome. “And this here,” he points behind him, “Is the Pearl Diver.” The ship seems less "a ship" and more “some scraps of wood with a dream.” Anticipating any comments or thoughts, he quickly adds, “She doesn’t look like much, but she’s served me, and my dad, and his dad. I trust her with my life every day and she’s never let me down once.” Hopping onto the boat, he begins to untether from the dock. “We can head out whenever you’re ready. Chief tells me that we’re heading to Liar’s Cove. It’s a small atoll further south of Marsonia. There’s not really anything there—that’s where the name comes from. But some of the coastal watch has reported strange activity there. ‘Strange activity’ here means any ‘activity at all.’ He chortles at his own joke, but quickly becomes serious. “It’s a bit of a trip, so go ahead and settle in. You’re welcome to work the sails if you like, or I can just talk at you the whole way there. Either one works for me.” As Ben-Goshi ties down the main sail, he looks up at you. “So how do you like the island? And how is the Chief doing? We haven’t seen him much since the…” He lowers his voice, “you know, the attempt.”
Wulfrin 0 Posted August 25 #6 Share Posted August 25 (edited) "It's a nice place," Wulfrin said as he set to work changing the sails to catch optimal wind. "This trip was supposed to just be a shopping trip, but it seems plans have changed." While yes, Wulfrin had some experience with sailing, it was very rudimentary. Mainly it came from the brief time he spent earning a merit badge for sailing in his scouting groups when he was younger. As it turns out, that's all Cardinal needed in order to prove proficiency. The plus side, his body was virtual. This meant his usual strife of sea sickness had little effect on him. With sails set, Wulfrin pulled out a fishing rod and cast his line out into the ocean. He hadn't gotten the chance to try deep sea fishing in Aincrad yet, but now seemed as good a time as any. "The attempt is a tragic event indeed." He continued as he watched his bobber on the waves. "They are also usually signs of a greater conspiracy. Hopefully I can find the answers the Chief seeks." Wulfrin felt his line tug. With a groan he pulled the large open sea fish to the deck before letting it dissipate into his inventory. It left behind a small chest of additional goodies which Wulfrin immediately pocketed. He looked towards the horizon he could just barely see the faintest shape of land beginning to peak out. A quick look at the sails revealed the wind had changed just enough for them to lose speed. Wulfrin made a quick adjustment causing the ship to jolt forward with the excess wind. I hope this thing keeps a float long enough for me to get off. "When we make landfall," Wulfrin spoke over the sea waves turning his attention to Ben-Goshi. "Will you wait for me to return or am I finding my own way back?" * * * Spoiler Fishing Attempt: [R4 | Success on CD 5+ | Critical on LD 9+ | +3 LD when opening fishing chests] ID: 228207 | CD: 10 | LD: 19 | Success | Found a chest Chest Roll ID: 228208 | LD: 6 +3 = 9 Results: +1 material +18 Fishing EXP Unidentified Rare Weapons (2), Unidentified Rare Consumables (2) Total Fishing Rewards this thread: +18 Fishing Exp +1 Materials T4 Rare Weapons: [228208a] [228208b] T3 Rare Consumables: [228208c] [228208d] Edited August 25 by Wulfrin
Acanthus 0 Posted August 25 Author #7 Share Posted August 25 “I’ll come back for you in the same place. I’ll circle the island every few hours and see if I can’t spot you. I’ve got pretty good eyes.” Given the foliage of the island, Ben-Goshi almost certainly has some help from Cardinal. The island appears relatively small—only a few kilometers in diameter—but the foliage is so dense that the sun barely penetrates. The atmosphere is thick and humid, and the game has done a frustratingly excellent job of recreating swarms of bugs eager to fly inside whatever space is offered. “One last thing,” Ben-Goshi offered. “Stay on the lookout. If this is where Uso-Tsuki’s men are, you’re likely to run into Hogo-Sha.” The fisherman looked uncomfortable. “He’s a force to be reckoned with. Eyes in the back of his head, and fiercely loyal to the lieutenant. He was the first one to defect along with Uso-Tsuki, and a fair number of the men here report directly to him.”
Wulfrin 0 Posted August 25 #8 Share Posted August 25 (edited) "Understood," Wulfrin said as he leapt from the boat onto land. "I'll keep your advice in mind. Also if it helps you can look for the bird, he'll be my eyes in the sky, so if you can see him, I'm not far behind." Wulfrin watched the boat retreat from the shore. There was tension in the air and he would prefer not to have any innocents caught in the line of fire should things go wrong. Once the captain had sailed off to a safe distance, Wulfrin pulled up the cowl on his Fallen Angel Garb and began to make his way into the dense foliage. He was grateful for the armor he had been given, its dark coloring made it easy to blend into the upper levels of the canopy. Solaris had left him not long after they had made landfall, doing as he always did, playing lookout. It didn't take long for Wulfrin to find evidence of humanoid movement through the dense vegetation. Now with some sense of direction, he could follow the target. The goal was to just get the info and leave. To do that he either need to overhear a plan in action, or get some physical information. Wulfrin was ready for a fight if it were to come, in fact he would almost prefer it. Stealth missions weren't exactly his strong suit. At least they picked a nice place to set up shop. * * * Stealth Roll ID: 228220 | LD: 19-2= 17 Edited August 25 by Wulfrin
Acanthus 0 Posted August 25 Author #9 Share Posted August 25 You manage to stay undetected all the way to the outskirts of the defector’s camp. They have put in plenty of effort to make the place a small, ramshackle village. There are about a dozen hastily-built huts in a circle surrounding a large, carefully tended fire. Most of the defectors are currently unarmed, but one stands out well above the rest. Rather than the simple woolen garb, the short man is dressed in heavy black clothes and jacket. On his back is a massive two-handed sword. As he talks to the other people in camp, you notice his hands reach back occasionally to feel for the sword, the way that you might check absentmindedly for your keys. His eyes are constantly surveying the foliage, always looking for trouble. The swordsman’s voice is barely above a whisper, barely containing his anger. “We need to move faster. Have we acquired the money yet?” An unnamed defector shakes his head. “No, sir. To keep a low profile, we’ve had to launch our raids far away from Marsonia. We don’t want to tip off the Chief, but it makes it harder—” The swordsman slams the other man into the tree behind him, forearm pinning him as he struggles to catch his breath. “I don’t want excuses. If tonight’s raiding party doesn’t hit quota, I am holding you personally responsible.” The swordsman releases his grip, and the other man catches his breath. “Y-yes, Hogo-Sha.” “In the meantime, go out to the stash and double-count the money we have. I’m going to review the contracts.” Hogo-Sha begins to walk back towards one of the huts on the far side of camp.
Wulfrin 0 Posted August 25 #10 Share Posted August 25 (edited) Jumpy little bugger ain't he? Wulfrin eyed the assertive Hogo-Sha, the first target acquired. Intently he watched from his cover, sticking to the shadows of the camp. The closer Wulfrin got to the camp, the more daunting of a task this was seeming to become. There would be way less cover once he left the tree line, but he had no choice. He pulled the cowl further up in an attempt to obscure as many of his features that he could. He would lean into his more sinister appearance, his not looking too dissimilar from some of the other mercs running walking through the camp. Play it cool. Get the info get out. Anyone asks, you're a scout returning with info. Wulfrin took a deep breath before stepping into the open. He walked like a man on a mission, not making eye contact or acknowledging anyone. His main intent was to move with purpose when he had to, otherwise he would use whatever cover he could find. He then found himself wondering, how Freyd managed to sneak up on him so often. The Gemini had done the same thing. Perhaps he needed to pay that old NPC enemy a visit when this was over. * * * Stealth Roll ID: 228253 | LD: 8-2= 6 Edited August 25 by Wulfrin
Acanthus 0 Posted August 25 Author #11 Share Posted August 25 Hogo-Sha walked briskly to the largest hut on the far side of the camp. Looking behind him one last time, he quickly ducked into the doorframe. As the shadows surrounding camp let up, you are forced to adopt a different strategy: walk in openly, acting like you belong. An excellent approach in many ways; and thankfully, your armor allows you to blend in with the mercenaries to some degree. Unfortunately, much like the Marsonian palace guards, everyone here seems a little on edge. You make it about halfway through the camp before you are flagged down. “Hey, you there!” One of the mercs approaches you. “I don’t recognize you from the palace, or from my company. You mind explaining who you’re with exactly?” His hand casually rests on the pommel of his scimitar. “Uso-Tsuki isn’t the kind of person to make any last-minute changes to his recruits, so unless you’ve just been out of my sight for the last few weeks, I’ve got quite a few questions for you.” He begins to grill you about raiding activity, the various mercenaries at the camp, and what you know of Uso-Tsuki’s plans. With some amount of confidence and bluff, you may be able to assuage the captain’s doubts.
Wulfrin 0 Posted August 25 #12 Share Posted August 25 (edited) Keep cool. Throw him off. "Wouldn't you want someone unaffiliated with a target to act as your eyes and ears if you failed at a job like this?" Wulfrin said trying his best not to step too far out of line. "It's my job to move unnoticed even by you lot. Now if you'll excuse me, I've got a job to do." Having dropped his singular line of dialogue, Wulfrin moved passed the guard towards one of the tents that seemed to be some kind of item storage. Using his armor to his advantage Wulfrin ducked into the shadows behind some crates and waited for his metaphorical threat level to fade away. Occasionally he peaked from his hiding spot. Once he was sure the coast was clear, he reemerged sticking closer to the tents in hopes of drawing slightly less attention. He spotted Solaris keeping an eye on him from the trees not far away. At least you aren't far partner. I have the feeling this wont go as smoothly as I had hoped. * * * Stealth Roll ID: 228264 | LD: 19-2= 17 Edited August 25 by Wulfrin
Acanthus 0 Posted August 25 Author #13 Share Posted August 25 The captain seems to accept your answer, and returns to his duties, mumbling sullenly about “changes of plans.” As he disappears outside of camp, the air of the camp shifts from “on alert” to merely “tense.” This time, you opt to stick closer to the tents, and the approach seems to work. You blend in with the mercenaries, receiving no more attention than a brief glance or two. You see Hogo-Sha emerge from the hut he entered; he is talking with the man he was talking to earlier. The conversation is largely a brief exchange of looks, followed by the man dropping a heavy coin purse into Hogo-Sha’s hands. He weighs the purse with a few casual hefts before putting it away. Stepping fully out of the hut, Hogo-Sha moves to the center of camp, keeping an eye out for any unusual activity. He appears to be scrutinizing every last person he can lay eyes on, but his attention is drawn away from the building he just exited…
Wulfrin 0 Posted August 26 #14 Share Posted August 26 (edited) Wulfrin watched Hogo-Sha make his way to the center of the camp. He was running out of time as the shadows were beginning to dissipate more and more as the hours progressed. Wulfrin's focus was now being split between the tent, which he presumed held the actual information he sought, and Hogo-Sha, an adversary that was most likely to be the biggest threat here. He was only a mere feet from the tent Hogo-Sha had vacated, hidden behind a handful of crates. A quick inspection of the tree line revealed Solaris ready to strike, even his familiar was becoming antsy. Wulfrin was confident he could handle himself in a fight with Hogo-Sha. The rest of the camp was a different story. If a fight were to break out, he'd have to try and take small groups at a time. A horde rush was his last resort option, but he hoped to circumvent it. At last he saw his opening, Hogo-Sha began to move out of line of sight of the tent. Not wanting to waste the opening he had been given, Wulfrin slipped between the tent flaps to see what he could uncover. * * * Stealth Roll ID: 228323 | LD: 9-2=7 Edited August 27 by Wulfrin
Acanthus 0 Posted August 27 Author #15 Share Posted August 27 You slip between the tent flaps. The furnishings speak to an austere and functional taste. There is a single cot in the corner and a table in the center, crudely fashioned from island lumber. On the table rests a rolled scrap of paper, sealed by a drip of green wax. The only other item of interest in the tent is a closed chest that appears unlocked. Unfortunately, your attempt to sneak into the tent did not go unnoticed. As you survey the inside of the tent, you hear whispered conversations begin to pick up. A few of the mercenaries are talking amongst themselves, and you hear the quiet venom of Hogo-Sha’s voice in the mix. You sense that the camp is beginning to stir. Boots begin to scrape on dirt and gravel, and the sound of footsteps grows louder as a single person begins to return to the tent. There may still be time to slip out of the tent, but it will be close.
Wulfrin 0 Posted August 27 #16 Share Posted August 27 (edited) Hearing the voices, Wulfrin quickly swiped the rolled parchment before maneuvering outside the tent. He had to hope it contained the info he came for, otherwise it would likely be a fight for the chest. With swiftness Wulfrin ducked out of the tent and began making his way to the tree line. As he faded into the shadows of cover, He found a high vantage point in the canopy to watch the camp. Solaris rest on the branch just above him, still poised to strike. He had triggered the alarm twice now and narrowly escaped both times. His luck would definitely not hold out for a third. Carefully he began to open the parchment. Please have what I need. I really don't want to tango with that blade. With bated breath, he silently poured his eyes over the parchment. He glanced up occasionally to ensure the camp didn't rally a search party. Though that might not be a bad thing. If a majority of the camp left, perhaps he could investigate that chest. * * * Stealth roll ID 226824 | LD 15-2=13 Edited August 28 by Wulfrin
Acanthus 0 Posted August 29 Author #17 Share Posted August 29 The camp continues to exhibit a small level of activity as you maneuver outside the tent. Hogo-Sha’s footsteps stop just on the other side as another mercenary approaches him. They exchange hushed words, and Hogo-Sha utters a dissatisfied expletive before moving away. Outside the tent, you have time to review the document. The paper contains an uncoded missive that upon closer inspection, appears to be a contract. “Upon receipt of funds, we will dispatch our finest soldiers to assist your endeavor. Difendā and Purotekutā will arrive in Marsonia two days at the latest. We believe that you will find their services more than adequate for your assassination.” A note is hastily scrawled in the corner of the letter by a different hand. It lists a date and a time, as well as a list of about a dozen or so names. This appears to be the information the Chief was seeking.
Wulfrin 0 Posted August 30 #18 Share Posted August 30 (edited) Wulfrin tucked the parchment into his coat and vanished into the canopy. Having narrowly escaped the camp with the info he needed, he had no desire to continue pressing his luck. He took his time maneuvering through the canopy, attempting not to draw any further attention. There was a nonzero chance that Hogo-Sha would notice the missing document, and Wulfrin intended to be long gone by the time that happened. Once he arrived at the beach, Wulfrin watched the horizon for the small boat to circle back. Once the ship arrived to pick him up, Wulfrin hastily climbs aboard and helps get the ship going at full speed away from the island. That wasn't so bad. It was a close call, but I got what I needed. Hopefully I can use this to stop the assassins. "I got what I came for," Wulfrin said to the sailor. "I need to get back to the chief ASAP. I think I may have a solution to his problem." * * * Information retrieved without breaking stealth Edited August 30 by Wulfrin
Acanthus 0 Posted August 30 Author #19 Share Posted August 30 You slip expertly out of camp and back to the shore. You don’t need to wait long—Ben-Goshi arrives almost immediately after you do. He offers a hand to help you on the boat. “Your bird there makes for a mighty fine signal. I might’ve gotten lost if you didn’t have a portable signal flare for a friend.” Once in the boat, he begins to work the sails and ropes with unnatural haste. “Hope you don’t mind the rush,” he explains as he ties down the sail, “but I’d really rather not stay here for long. The thought of crossing the old lieutenant is pretty low on the list of things I’d like to do today.” He finally settles down once you’re well and clear of the danger, he drops heavily into the boat and laughs. “I have to say, the Chief picked the right guy for the job. You were in and out in a flash! How did you do it?” He leaned in with an air of playful conspiracy. “So what did you find out? What is Uso-Tsuki up to?”
Wulfrin 0 Posted August 31 #20 Share Posted August 31 (edited) "I did," Wulfrin said focused on the sails. "But I think it's best I only share with him." And with that Wulfrin went silent for the rest of the trip. He was intent of sharing his information with the chief and no one else. He had the target on his back and the fewer people that knew about the details the better. Wulfrin needed them to continue on their current plans for the assassination. Wulfrin planned to ambush the ambushers. After all if he could sneak past the one trusted to organize everything, he could get close enough to stop the event before it happens. Once they made land fall, Wulfrin beelined it to the Chief's place. "Cheif," Wulfrin said entering the council chambers. He scanned the room and took note of everyone present. "I have returned, and we need to speak in private. No guards. Just you and me." Wulfrin waited for the two of them to make their way into a secluded section of the chambers. Wulfrin handed over the piece of parchment. As the chief began to read the parchment, Wulfrin began to go through his own plan. "You cannot change your travel plans," Wulfrin said with his arms crossed. "They want your assassination to be public. It's the textbook definition of a coup. His two enforcers would be doing the dirty work and then your ex lieutenant would then swoop in and make a big show of putting them down and take your place. You should take precautions against attacks though. Once we near their designated ambush site, I'll make my presence known." Having agreed on a plan, Wulfrin made himself at home, donning similar armor in appearance to the Cheif's personal guard. He would stay close by and make sure no unforeseen attacks befell the chief in the mean time. * * * Thread Closure Wulfrin Receives: [Word Count: 4456/10 = 445.6] * [True Tier: 4] * [Group Factor: 0.7] + 2,000 [quest] = 3,248 * 2 [recruitment drive] = 6,496 EXP [1 Page] 400/1 + 5,000 [quest] = 5,400 Col +18 Fishing Exp +1 Materials T4 Rare Weapons: [228208a] [228208b] T4 Rare Consumables: [228208c] [228208d] Unlocked <<Incognito Assassination>> Quest Acanthus Receives: [Word Count: 4456/10 = 445.6] * [True Tier: 3] * [Group Factor: 0.7] = 936 * 2 [recruitment drive] = 1,872 EXP No other rewards as they were the Storyteller Edited September 11 by Wulfrin
