"Well, close, no?" She laughed. "What do you think about diplomacy? Ever been to Germany? I have some friends from there, and I actually speak the language, fun fact. I tried learning Japanese as well, but it was too hard...I loved it, but the counting was just too damn hard..."

"Huh! The forest sounds great...as long as there aren't any giant bugs there or something. Fishing sounds good, though. It's very relaxing, some say. I've never been a fan, but I could try it." She shrugged. "Apparently, I'm good at finding things near water." she joked, remembering her quest with Morningstar, where she'd found a chest next to the body of water a fisherman was at.

"Well we can always lie in bed here, right? We all deserve some rest here and there. But I understand the general sentiment." She shook her head.

"My cats, my family...and finally having my PC back." She laughed. "What about you?"

He listened to her speak about everything and listened to the questions she asked. It was a fair assessment that she didn't like bugs like himself. A horrid memory consumed him thinking about bugs and he shivered slightly, even though he was warm. "I've been to Germany several times and I have to be involved with the relations. He's practically held me hostage about it since I was a child. But I guess even after this, I'm stuck here so I might be a disappointment to him?" He shrugged slightly as he drank a gulp of his cooled mug. It was tasty but he noticed he didn't put a candy cane in it. Perhaps, he would do that later on another day. "I had to study all those languages since I would be speaking in them a lot."

He thought about the forest a moment and shrugged a bit. "We can go swimming at the lake. Do you know how to swim?" His face turned red a bit against his pale complexion. It even turned a few colors deeper about thinking about lounging in bed with her. He shoved those thoughts away and popped the imaginary balloon. He knew she didn't mean it that way as he nodded. "Yep. We could just hang around in bed and relax. It doesn't matter where we are as long as we are alive."

When she turned the question about who was waiting for him, he thought for a moment. "My mother, I know she is waiting. I also know that I have a few friends. Dad? Not so much. I'm not sure what dad would do now or if he may have disowned me. I'd rather not think about that for now. But gaming would be nice. I have a nice set up for PC."

"Hostage? That's...rough. But hey, at least you have a lot of knowledge now! And you know, learning about other countries isn't bad. You get to see just how vast the world truly is and how different, yet unique we all are!" she said enthusiastically.

"I've been swimming since I was four, no worries." Ty winked. "Never in a lake, though...hopefully it won't trigger my spasms. Is the water warm, do you think?" Seeing his face turn slightly red, she coughed awkwardly, but chose not to comment in order to not ruin the situation. She'd never thought of anyone in this game as more than another player...would that change now? No, no, that would be way too strange for their circumstances.

"Well, no point in worrying about reality now, I agree." She nodded, somewhat dejectedly. "But I'm sure we all have someone waiting for us. And if anything, we have each other." She smiled.

He felt the burning sensation wear off and soon returned to his normal behavior in terms of posture. Mug was finished off and he stood up to go wash it. As he stood there cleaning it, he thought a bit. He had never actually been in the lake before unsure if the water was cold or not. Most water would be cold anyway depending on the temperature of the outside, but that was always a static thing during most sunny days. "I'm not entirely sure whetherest or not if it is cold. I would assume so?" He pondered in thought.

He would put the cleaned mug away and simply stand there leaning against the countertop with both hands lying flat against the surface.
"There might be no use to thinking about it, however, I prefer to look at it as the finish line or goal. But we do have each other!" He would put on his usual smile. Thoughts often ran through his head about the missing people that left and never came back. More than he could count on one hand.

He took a breath and studied the outside weather for a moment. It was still lightly snowing but not as bad as earlier. He returned his gaze back to her and crossed his arms. "We should find you that familiar. They can help with a variety of things during battle. Pingu, not so much." He tossed a glance at the penguin before looking back at her. "Also, you should in invest in a house or move in with someone to get the benefits. It helps your alchemy and battle skills too. Just food for thought"

"Hmmm, if it's cold, then that's a no-go." Ty concluded. "I've tried swimming in cold pools IRL and it resulted in me being literally almost unable to move, so I'd like to not repeat that experience."

She stood to clean her own mug, moving to the small sink. She wondered if this world had dishwashers, and assumed it didn't. What a shame, would've been useful.
She nodded at Kil's comment. "That's true, though it's a finish line that's barely visible on the horizon at the moment. Wow, oof, sorry that was deep!" She grinned.

"Pingu helps by being a cute distraction, right?" she teased. "I expected her to have some kind of ice powers or something. But yeah, I should definitely get a familiar as soon as possible, that was my plan for tomorrow. If you want to come along, you can."
She sighed, pondering the house topic. "I was just gonna live in this shop for now, I don't have the col for a house yet and I don't know anyone with a house, so." She shrugged.

Listening to her speak about what she wanted to do tomorrow and talking about Pingu, it reminded him of the past. A slight smile crossed his face as he seemed a bit sad for a brief moment. It had been a while since he had tagged along in gathering a familiar. He took a deep breath as he looked over at his familiar and spoke. "Yep. Shes a great distraction. Sometimes, she acts like a kid." He was reminded about a child he once took care of. Asmura had gone and vanished but the lingering memories of her playing with Pingu was still fresh in his mind as yesterday.

He snapped back to reality as he looked over at her thinking about the cat familiar that she was looking into.
"Yea! I'm totally down for helping you get your familiar. It's been a bit, but we can make it faster together." He thought a bit about her living situation. She was at least protected by staying in zone and away from PKers. He thought for a moment and sent her a destination of his house on the 6th floor. "If you ever find yourself wanting to visit or just a change of scene, my house is right there. I'm sure you'll be able to find it. It'll be on the floor where we can look for your jungle cat as well. We might as well stop by."

He yawned slightly before looking thinking about what they could also do in the future. They would have to stop by the guild and greet those as well. Hopefully she wouldn't be intimidated.

Ty chuckled. "Oh I can agree with that, she definitely acts like a kid."  Even as she said that, though, her affection for the penguin was obvious.

"Sure, if you don't mind me visiting and stuff. I'd much prefer a jungle to all this snow." Ty huffed in amusement. She really didn't do well in cold weather. Maybe she should've chosen a different area for her shop. "Besides, the cat will probably prefer the jungle as well, I'd assume. How does Pingu handle it?"

She glanced at the clock. "Dang, it's late...You should get home and get some sleep." If this were a game, it wouldn't matter, but it wasn't. so she had to take care of her own, and other's, health as well. Once that HP bar went down to 0, it really would be game over. "I have a couch you could sleep on here as well." she offered. It would probably be annoying for him to head home in the dark and through all the snow.

Kil looked outside of the window to watch the falling snow. It was indeed late with the night looming in carving away at the sunlight. He took a deep breath and thought about the offer of what she had said. A couch was better than being stuck outside. It wasn't like his shop was too far either. The penguin, understanding them, launched herself onto the couch and belly flopped upon the soft surface. She was already making herself feel at home. Her eyes looked at him pleadingly, but he was busy thinking about whether or not to accept.

The man finally heard the squeal of the penguin, turning abruptly to face her. He hadn't noticed the familiar claiming the couch and he perked a brow. "I never said we were staying. Don't make extra work for her." He scolded the penguin before walking over and patting her on the head. He thought for a moment and checked his inventory. He could do it. He could make some food for her in the morning, and he decided that it was worth a stay. "I'll cut you a deal..."

He sat down and smiled at her and tilted his head. "Since you are letting me sleep here, I'll make breakfast. Eggs, muffins, pancakes, and bacon. It's all in my inventory. Deal?" The perks of being a chef and he would hold out his hand to shake on it. When they shook, he answered her about Pingu. "Shes a glutton for punishment. Thats all I can really say about her."

Ty just laughed when Pengu belly-flopped onto the couch. "Seems she's made the decision for you, Kil." she teased. "I really don't mind if you stay the night, it's the least I could do." She shrugged.

"If you wanna make food, sure, just do not feel obligated, okay? We're friends." It was true, however, that Ty had little food in here. She'd meant to go grocery shopping but then got deterred by the cold. Still, she shook Kil's hand. "But okay, deal."

She rolled her eyes at Kil's statement about Pingu being a glutton for punishment. "That's a pretty bad attitude to have in this world. Wanting danger, punishment or anything like that is bad. But she's got you to protect her, so she'll be just fine, I'd imagine."

She sat down beside the penguin, patting her head. "Get some rest, both of you." she said, then headed for the back room, where she had another small couch for personal use.
