NAME AGE SEX LOCATION HEIGHT WEIGHT DATE OF BIRTH       Ikeno Takahashi       26       Male       Osaka, Japan       167cm       74kg       October 19           [♬] ════════════════════════════════════════════════ ikeno takahashi always wins. ════════════════════════════════════════════════ history Spoiler four minutes after he was born, ikeno's mother passed away. his father, a good and honest man, tried his best to raise a beautiful, loving boy. but how could either of them cope with what they had lost? his father, a financial analyst for a reputable firm at the heart of tokyo, worked long days. often, he would stumble through the door late into the evening, exhausted. this wasn't uncommon in his line of work, nor was deteriorating mental health. a routine of packaged dinners and cheap alcohol got him through the nights. there was no time to cook, to clean, or to spend time with his son. for what little time he did have, money was plentiful. during the weeks, ikeno was raised by a rotation of nannies. he would spend time becoming familiar with them, only for them to leave, quickly replaced by someone new. from an early age, it was drilled into him that people came, stayed for a while, and then left. on weekends, dad was around. ikeno cherished the two days of the week they saw each other because in a world of fleeting things, he had one constant. they played together, ate together, and learned together—he was ikeno's north star. cancer took him when ikeno was an early teenager. it was a sudden, unexpected loss, brought on by some cruel mixture of genetics, a poor diet, and infrequent visits to the doctor. he remembered that it wasn't human nature to stick around. ikeno views the world through a cold and impersonal lens. there is a level of detachment between him and others, and he sees things like life and death as mechanisms of inevitability, endlessly and hopelessly revolving. he plays life like it's a game; everything and everyone around him is an obstacle, a puzzle piece, or a pawn. and ikeno always wins. traits Spoiler [v] cunning | deliberate; manipulative; strategic; sly. whatever synonym you want to use, it probably encapsulates ikeno. he is nothing if not persistent, always looking for the upper hand—and he's smart enough to catch it. [v] calculating | ikeno looks at the world around him and sees equations. he is methodical in his choices and thinks before he acts. this balances out his careless nature. [v] patient | ikeno recalls a friday spent staring at his front door, waiting for his dad to come home from work. as an adult, he thought he had sat there, on a wooden stool, for seven hours. really, it had been nine. [f] carefree | life to ikeno is one big puzzle, and at the end, it all gets tossed back into the box. he cares very little for himself, and for the people and things around him. he is a scientist above a microscope, infinitely curious but wholly disconnected from anything but the results. [f] ethically ambiguous | ikeno is comfortable with the morally grey. if something is most logical, he will likely do it. the effects are often irrelevant.
