Monthly Boss [September]

Welcome all players, for those of you who may not know what the monthly boss is, well... it's like a normal boss except that it appears monthly. Unlike a floor boss, they can be anywhere and are as strong as a typical boss. They also drop loot and give proper rewards like a typical floor boss would. So there's a plus. However, as a negative, if you die in the monthly boss fight event, you are still dead in Sword Art Online. So keep that in mind.

As for revealing the boss for the month, here it is.

Twinfire Phoenix

On the ninth floor lives a beast that many players have feared. As it was a non-respawning field boss that was a superior to any normal enemy. The phoenix that is rumored to live South of the main city on the ninth floor, Igneous, has been told as one of the hardest monsters you can fight, but promises good rewards and loot.

The Twinfire Phoenix is said to have two forms and can deal damage that can take out weak players that aren't prepared with ease. Along with normal damage, the phoenix also deals burn damage, as well has a healing factor, that makes this fight a tedious beast to slay. Many parties have been sent out to go take out the avian, but none have ever returned successful. It is now up to you players to form the next assault group on the boss and try to show up all the other failed groups that retreated or were lost in combat.
