Yumiko's early life was marked by constant struggle, born into a low-income family.  Her parents, often absent due to their own issues, left her to navigate the world on her own from a very young age. Desperation became a common feeling, and she quickly learned to rely on her wits to survive. She began stealing food and picking pockets in crowded markets, her small, nimble hands moving with a speed that kept her just beyond the grasp of local authorities.

Over time, these actions brought her into the company of a disreputable crowd, introducing her to a world of minor cons and petty theft that earned her a reputation as a small-time criminal. The streets were unforgiving, but she adapted, becoming skilled at manipulating others and evading capture. Her circumstances took an unexpected turn when she met someone who would become her on-again, off-again situationship, a person with ambitions as shady as her own. This person introduced her to a new VRMMO, suggesting it as a potential goldmine for illicit activities and easy money. Intrigued by the promise of a quick profit, she decided to venture into the game, imagining it as just another hustle. However, what seemed like an opportunity to exploit soon spiraled into a trap, leading her into a situation from which escape seemed impossible.

+  Resourceful:  Living a life driven by survival instincts, Yumiko has developed an exceptional ability to make the most out of limited resources. Resilient:  Having faced numerous setbacks, Yumiko has learned to recover quickly both physically and mentally. Resilience has become a crucial part of her character, helping her bounce back from life's challenges. Her experiences have taught her the importance of persistence and strength.

-  Self-Serving:  Yumiko's experiences have led her to prioritize her own interests above all else, believing that if you aren't advancing yourself, you're losing. Jaded:  Yumiko's formative years have left her with a deeply pessimistic outlook on life. Her early experiences have shaped a cynical view of the world. This jaded perspective reflects her struggles and the harsh realities she has faced.
