Born in Cairo, in the inner metropolitan area of the wealthy Zamalek district, her younger years were spent immersed in the Egyptian arts and culture that the thousand-year-old city more than enough provided. By nature, she was a curious girl, and being the sole child of a renowned architect and scholar had given her the luxury of pursuing these curiosities without repercussion. It was only natural that she had chosen the route of an academic, delving into the books and research of a world that predated her own. It was as rigorous as it was an exploration of her own self, and by the end of her years of studying, she had emerged an exceptional scholar of Art History. Neema had nurtured her childlike love and wonder for the ancient world into a career and reputation that rivaled that of her father.  However, she had a life that existed outside the barriers of her career and academic life. Her rigorous studies had never once dimmed her lax nature, fortunately, and she proved to be an enjoyer of art in all forms and mediums, old and modern, regardless of the price. This just so happened to include video games, and in this new era, virtual reality. Intrigued by the fantasy motifs and eager to explore the historic references in the upcoming VRMMO, Sword Art Online, Neema took it upon herself to venture into this newfound reality all while bearing the name of ancient royalty.

 

> VIRTUES ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– > PASSIONATE A scholar but a child at heart, Tiye has a great adoration for her craft and interests and only her interests. She'll go to great lengths to pursue her curiosity and her passions– a tunnel vision of sorts. Her knowledge for these particular interests is hard to rival, and despite her usually rigid and aloof personality, she physically lights up once you've gotten her attention.  > EASY-GOING Tiye is the type of person to face the world at her own pace, regardless of what it tries to throw at her. Her laid-back nature is generally comfortable to be around, and it's not often you get to see her in any kind of state of outrage or distress. This quality makes her quite tolerant when it comes to interacting with other people. While she attempts to avoid the more difficult ones, she's qualified enough to steer herself out of it.  > ADAPTABLE A skill she already possessed and one she honed in the game, Tiye's flexibility in any situation is remarkable. She's quick on her feet despite what the rest of her personality insinuates, and it proved to be a boon when she first found herself stuck in SAO as she quickly adjusted to her new life. Tiye still has a drive to leave Aincrad, but if asked, she would say she is quite content with her state of existence right now.   > FLAWS ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– > INDIFFERENT By default, Tiye exhibits an air of indifference wherever she goes. When left up to make decisions, she will often be indecisive out of disinterest, instead choosing to shove the problem onto others should she have the chance. This doesn’t exactly translate into outright apathy, but it can be quite exhausting to interact with someone who has no opinion outside of their interests. > CONFLICT-AVOIDANT It's almost admirable how determined Tiye is to avoid conflict, whether it be with a mob, NPC, or player– verbal or physical. She had completely ruled off any combat during her time in this game as if it was a sacred vow– which it wasn’t; she simply just doesn’t want to spare the effort. Should she notice tensions start to stir and disputes arising, it won’t be long before you see her walking off in the distance or distracting herself with something more personally meaningful than whatever was going on. > VANITY Tiye takes great pride in her knowledge of times long past. A little too proud. Her prestigious background and achievements have made her quite stuck up, even if they don't necessarily apply or contribute to anything of great importance. While not exactly one to flaunt these achievements in every waking moment, should the time choose to present itself, she won't hesitate to shove herself into the spotlight.
