The undisturbed lake glared back at her, as the sun hit the surface. It shined in the most brilliant of lights as the water sways harmlessly under the softest of breeze. Within mere moments the water stirs and the woman meanders out to the edge of the dock. Recalling the event and the starfield above, during a dimly lit night and the events that followed. Time had moved forward and seemed to pass it by, and the floor itself seemed to have forgotten what had come before. The hole was gone, the sky still that bright shade of blue. A cloud here or there, but a perfect day. Yet a single object seemed to divine itself through the water, eager to be reclaimed. She may yet be able to handle this on her own, but she knew that she needed not to. Up the hill the woman sought her quarry and was prepared to put in the leg work.

The simplest and yet adequate walk up to the white haired woman who overlooked the lake of blue, as a gentle wind played upon its surface and stirred the water beneath it. A pair of lenses on his nose reflect the sunlight that portrayed the midday, causing his eyes to become nothing more then a faint memory. The glint of a handle tucked neatly behind his right shoulder flared, that cool greyish steel ripe and ready to be drawn at a moments notice. Where the chase continued unending it had found its end, and as he joins up shoulder to shoulder with the woman it seems she was no longer skirting beyond their clutches. "What today?" The man asks beneath simple words, as if they were long time friends at this point. He knew the location and he had his suspicions but he'd leave it to her to confirm the fact.

Looking out into the clear blue liquid that gleams under that burning sun, the girl pokes her finger into its surface. A fish below shown as a shadow her target. The thing takes notice and moves to start pecking her finger. "So fish dude?" The girl chirps toward her team as they start to form up more readily, with even the odd occupant that was Nisahime as part of this little gathering. Shiina vaguely recalled the paper that sat upon the red wood table, deep within the guild hall located in the forest of memories. It pertained to the beast known as king of lakes, and although she recalled its existence the specifics would elude her greatly. A wiggle of her finger sees the fish release it and dart away, that faint shadow tearing out of view as quick as it came. Into her pockets she stirs, looking for the supply that she'd need shortly.

A stark contrast weave of red hair painted upon the rolling green fields that were the pastures of the city of coral. A heft of her greatsword over her right shoulder, she'd look to the pair expectantly. "Fish?" Her attentions shift immediately to Shiina as she knelt near the shore, a light pan of her gaze toward the water and a faint recollection of First Lessons. A shutter and an almost horrified retelling in her mind, given the sheer gravity of the atrocities they faced upon such an unforgiving affair. Mainly boredom. "Well lets get to it then, otherwise we are going to be out here until next week." Celeste remarks ushering herself toward Lotus and giving him the option to join their little group. It would be at this point the 4 of them would start trekking up the cliff. For what? Celeste wasn't 100% sure, but the clear little blue circle on her minimap said this is where they needed to go.

A sharp point of the songstresses finger as they meandered like hikers up the cliff face. The target? A small little orange and red lizard that rushes out of a brook and into a nearby bush. "You think?" The girl remarks quizzically toward her party, searching their expressions for some form of confirmation to the idea. Shiina would tilt on her feet, leaning limply to one side as she slowly approaches. The large lump of brush wiggles again, convincing them all that their quarry remained inside. Slowly leaning forward, Shiina attempts to poke her nose inside and as if right on queue the obtuse waddle beneath her legs is that sharp and bright little gecko. "NAB HIM!" Shiina squirrels and falls back on her butt. As she'd twist and eagerly pull her hands back toward her chest, carefully she opens her hands and is shocked. "WHERE'D HE GO!" the songstress shrieks, eyes darting around her immediate proximity and stopping on her butt.

This is not at all why I am here." Spoken the thing rushes clean past her, between her and Raidou. The boy would look at her with a judgmental blink of his eyes, as if disbelief how little she was willing to contribute. "Just because you don't have to chase me around doesn't mean I am here to assist you. Trials and tribulations are not as such without difficulty. Chop Chop~" The woman goads with a slightly musical undertone that would ring quite readily like an empress giving commands to a servant. The rest of her party would look to her with utter disdain, a sour expression. "What?" The woman would look down at her clothes in an obvious jest.

The redhead shakes her head in disbelief, but frankly she wasn't entirely sure what to expect. This was the first time they'd ever functioned and been this close to the broad. She smelled like some sort of poisonous plant and talked like some sort of upper royalty. Yet the sarcasm Celeste could get behind. As the lizard rushes past Celeste drops her weapon which bounces once before dismissing as puffs of blue fire. "Oh NO YOU DONT!" She yells as she contorts and dives for the crafty little fucker. A solid thud on her stomach, sliding up she rips her arms around and reveals her catch. Worming around in her fingers, the spry little bastard wiggled and clawed at her fingers. Lotus pays her a clap quite happy at the fact the bait had finally been caught. It wasn't that long, yet he acted as if they'd been at this for a while. "You don't get out much do you old timer?" The woman barks as she clambers off her ass and taps her front.

Without a moment to spare, Raidou snags that bait out of the girls hand with absolutely no issue. His hand so damn quick you can barely even see him move, the robe being the one thing that really gives it away. "I'll be taking that." The boy offers in a gentle and patient tone, as his off hand performs a quick and humane jab to the back of the thing. It falls still. The man turns and hands the prey to Lotus who would then proceed down the mountain as the pack leader allowing the rest of them to follow behind. Once they were back on the dock, he'd manage at a surprising speed to convert it into bait and place it upon hooks on awaiting poles. Raidou however, snags the line and unhooks the reel. Adding a small dab of some strange liquid on the end before a quick jerk sees it scream that bobber out toward the center of the lake. *plunk* And within seconds he has a bite, pivoting and <<parrying> the rod he extorts his strength and rips the massive floundering monarch loose with surprising ease.

"WOAH!" Shiina squeals as the massive shadow attached to a tiny thin line looms overhead like a solar eclipse. Its accented by the smallest droplets and a totally anime style cutscene of Raidou looking like a fishing badass. Time seems to slide by in slow motion before the abrupt slam of the king landing ass over teakettle, akin to that of a turtle. Right in the grass, as if it was a goal post and the nomad had just scored a 3 pointer. Shiina doesn't no sports, yet that would surely have been a game winner. "Right!" Shiina chirps out without warning, as her brain catches up to the fact that she was 'supposed' to do the thing now. Spinning a 6 sided prism about the size of a monster energy can, it twirls in her fingers like a pencil during the SAT's. "OM" The girl extrudes as that performance crystal is bit, activating it with her teeth and tossing out into the grass.

Slowly strolling down the mountain as the other players tear total ass down it, as if their bread was in an oven. "You all definitely have some serious pacing issues." The woman goads as they rush past into the newly produced fray, intending to circle kick the giant orange mammoth to death before it even had a chance to act. However despite their fervor, she would carry her normal and modest pace. It takes her a few minutes to finally reach the bottom of the hill and the players were already knee deep in tearing the fish apart. "Don't kill it too fast now." The woman remarks as she starts to saunter off toward the dock and look off into the lake. Her eyes flare in a bright silver and she steps out upon its surface as if it was solid. Each step making ripples as if she was stepping into a puddle.

Celeste ramping up and taking swipes here or there as the massive fish just takes it like a champ. "Good god!" the woman barks as her weapon bounces harmlessly off a fat belly, as if she'd just attempted to punch a trampoline. She winds back for another attempt but that's when the thing pays out a loud burp and starts to roll "SHIT SHIT SHIT." Celeste screams as she's suddenly sent into a rapid sprint to avoid the newly formed steamroller that was attempting to crush her flat. It was as if they had taken a scene straight out of Indiana jones and turned him into a redheaded woman. After she manages to build enough distance she quickly darts off to the side and narrowly avoids being squished under the damn fishball. Hands pressed against her knees, her cleaver sitting in the grass some 20 odd feet away she pants trying to re-catch her breath.

Ripping his glasses off to the side, they fly a few feet before disappearing in a flash of blue light. It would appear as though they were gone but had been quickly swapped out as Raidou flicks his wrist and unfolds another pair. It would straight up look like the ending sequence of persona 4. Except there was another pair of glasses beneath those glasses. The man pivots and his robe churns, reaching behind his right shoulder he'd clamp a fist around the blades handle and rip it free. As the fish would stir itself around having narrowly avoided Celeste and blinding past the madly mad hatter that was Shiina it would move toward Raidou. It was obvious what it was trying to do. It was trying to roll dice. Raidou's anime insight transcends reality and he reaches into the dice roller and parries its attempt. However this parry was vengeful, so instead of attacking Raidou it would instead attack itself.

*Optimal Turn Order Change

Stepping across the still lake the woman would find herself out into its center. Behind her the battle raged on in constant explosions and flashes of light, much akin to a scifi warzone. Each footstep offers a gentle ripple from where they are placed, a soft reverberation and echo out. It would be here where the woman starts to sink down, scanning the water carefully for some semblance of the object she sought. A tap of her feet, leaning into her knees in a few different spaces before the soft white glow bleeds up from somewhere deep below. A quick glance back toward the party, they were still quite busy. "No time like the present." The woman quips before leaping headfirst into the waves, descending deeper within. Hair flows gently as her eyes flare up in that same soft bluish white, as she drifts deeper and deeper. A few moments would pass, and plucked free is an outstretched hand with a singular black feather.

Standard Recovery +3 EN

Rocketing back into the fray the woman clambers for her great sword and claims it from the grass, it supercharges in a vibrant crimson. The thing bends and folds into solidarity, burning bright in cobalt blue. A heavy sweep sees that color spread, lingering in the air as an arc of light. It carves deep her opponent and as a result the King's health would take an immediate nosedive. The attack connects with its stomach and leaves this hefty incision that exposes the thin network of webbing beneath that was its avatar wireframe. The force causes the thing to flounder and flop onto its left side, proving that the swipe had met its mark. Celeste carries through and allows the momentum to fade, as her HUD goes dark signifying the activation of skill stasis: the wait period that prevents her from attacking too often. Begrudgingly she slowly crawls around the opponent, waiting for everything to reset.

A flip of his weapon sees it twirl around in his hand, like a pitcher rounding the idea of slamming out another home run. His left hand moves toward his face, pressing the lenses that hung there up the bridge of his nose. The fish capsized and some fat nubby feet wiggling like worms trying to find purchase to right itself. The black star sparks up in a deep shade of red, showing that the blade was charging. His stamina bar loses a large lump, where the graphics take a second to update showing the expenditure. Arm lifts high into the sky and catches a sudden shriek of lightning and within mere moments the swordsman was within striking distance. The electricity discharges as a bright flash of red light predates the discharge of static through his opponent. It causes the thing to shake and twist violently before breaking like glass, sending bits and pieces of data glimmering like fireflies through the air.

A glance toward Lotus, Raidou offers a smile and a nod with a following thumbs up to the older man. An easy yet familiar success.

Moving to Floor 19, Optimal Turn Order Reorder

Later that evening, there journey was still not quite complete. It seemed this chick had a laundry list of things to accomplish and in the parties desperation to understand they had chosen to accompany her. The floor 19 forbidden lands took the shape of a lush green field of grass. Not entirely unlike the city of coral yet it was much more damaged and destroyed. Celeste somewhat recognized the area and yet the reasoning for their visit remained vague. Moreover once they started into the forest treeline, the woman was on obvious edge. This was the domain of the field boss, and within a few moments it would begin to loom overhead casting a gigantic shadow. Such was the way of wandering into their threatened areas. Without a word of warning the woman immediately darts towards its heels and clips deep against them. Carving clean in such a way that it threatened to topple over, bits of splinters spraying out in an aggressive tear.

Celeste had began the encounter, and Raidou's skills fire moments after. A precise push of his abilities would see him expertly plant that bit of steel and turn his weight. Using the thing as a dedicated lever, he'd pull up with a surprising amount of force. The beast would begin to careen and flail as despite its massive stature it was beginning to topple. Another blow from Celeste would see its footing giving way and the titan crashes to the ground. It would be like the demolition of a building, the very ground shook underfoot as the skyscraper hit the dirt and dust. This causes a huge screen of brown to cover the area, as the large trunk like appendages clamber to its sides to break its fall. Before it could even stand to correct itself, the players were on it rushing for whatever weakpoint they could muster. Else the titan would rise and they'd be back to square one.

Shiina and her tiny leg span held difficulty climbing and most certainly keeping pace. Yet she does manage to catch up somewhat, offering her group a surge of light mixed with song. A song played from a small contraption she'd kept a nigh innumerable amount. Stashed away in the folds and nooks of her armor. That surge would cause their speeds to increase, pushing them even further beyond their already exorbitant system allowed abilities.  A sharp pant from the girl as she wheezed and choked, so desperate to work up to the others and yet holy crap they were so much faster. Like a fat guy and a few flights of stairs, running did not mix at all with her. Mainly because she was 5'4 and wearing plate armor that fit like the worlds worst overcoat. Another wheeze followed by a slap of her face, she rights herself and starts to click her heels upon the bark skinned monster again.

As the titan fell the group minus her would rush upon its front, using the massive complex of bark skin as a floor. Eagerly they sought out whatever wounds or soft spots to put it down before there was any chance of rebuttal. Meanwhile, the silver haired woman would seek out the nearby treeline and remain in close proximity. There was an object to which she sought here, but this one not quite like the others. Strange that it would find itself here of all places. Shuffling through the pile of crap that was left in the area, perhaps left overs from past excursions or worse. The woman would remain strangely focused despite the near demolition happening in the background, and as a result items start becoming disturbed.

The massive tree starts to wiggle and worm, as its skin burned aggressively, shuffling large pillar like arms trying to shove players upon its stomach away.

Another sharp slash as that immense and overbearing column of wood moved toward her. A section is cut free moments before it impacts the woman, causing her red hair to flail angrily as the pieces now cut into logs fly harmlessly past her. They burned slightly in that cobalt blue, threatening to become ash. A pivot of her weapon and she cleaves down into the creatures body, pushing it deep before rushing to its right. Carving out a huge section of its body, leaving bits of shrapnel in her wake as she does. The wound would mimic a dug trench in stature, but within the faint afterglow of red signifying the interior of its make. Likewise the targeting bar would convey its HP dropping quite heavily at her rampage, as the curved green filled bar would start to empty out a fair chunk. With it, an angry bellow from below, The ancient outraged at the hornets stinging the hell out of it.
