It wouldn't be long before the others would find themselves down in these depths, through a murmur of stars and a traveled path of the past. The soft splashes of water upon puddles in darkened and dank walkways. The soft silver glow of her eyes and a star in her right hand, the woman moves eagerly toward the arena to where the slime king would hold. Creatures slinking too and from just outside of eyesight, proving their existence with every slurping mass. Yet such proximity did not phase her, and moreover it seemed that sentiment was shared as she moves quite unimpeded through the lair. Eyes toward the sky show that the roof had since reformed, as if nothing had harmed it in the first place. Remembering the jaunt that Raidou and her had done with Freyd and the others. It had been sometime that she had seen her father and the other guild mates. So much had changed, it was mere days from the wedding day, wishing it would come sooner. Rai was the one that sent out the guild message, and Eruda has been awol for a while enjoying her new house and the view that came with it. So excited yet so weirdly nervous to face everyone... The swift twist sees an allied shadow dart through the obscurity with the lightest of leaps, perching upon a nearby column like a gargoyle. The soft trickle of a silvered white mist will elude to her party that she was nearby, coupled with the soft bite of cold that followed alongside it. Upon her lips the purple mask drawn up to cover the lower half of her face. Hand placed on the hilt of her katana, ripe and ready to strike when the need would arise. She was back down here hunting down the most elusive quarry, that strange woman from prior that seemed to be the most difficult by far target to keep tabs on. Giving nearly all of her sources the slip on what seemed like a simple turn of a heel, as if she had a near endless and readily available source of teleports. Celeste 1 Posted September 15 #5 Share Posted September 15 Stealth Rating: 231517, LD:19 + 3 = 22 (Success) Although the woman wasn't quite to the speed as other members of the guild, Celeste kept pace through endurance and exertion more then finesse. Her fucking knees tingled with all the hunching and the sheer amount of times she'd have to slow to a crawl to prevent her weapon from clipping a nearby surface was well beyond what she could count on both hands. The soft tapping of her heels would convey to her party if they were vigilant enough, that she was close by and keeping the pace from the shadows. Narrowly perching behind a nearby wall, she'd lean on all of her guerilla style tactics to remain beneath the radar. Subtly was not her strong suit, not like throwing people off a boat or burning down a building was. Shiina 0 Posted September 15 #6 Share Posted September 15 The steel colored hair upon a misshapen set of armor conveys the songstress along for the metaphorical ride. Popping her lips as she skips her feet just a little too far forward and conveys just how chill she was, as if there wasn't a care in the world to be had. "Why we here again?" Shiina chirps as she meandered behind the massive man and the blonde that was his daughter, right in-between the two of them at their flank. Its not that Shiina wasn't paying attention, no that would be too simple. The simple fact of the matter was, all the uppity and overly cautious busy planny talk was boring and subconsciously she tuned most of it out. After a few seconds the environment rings true, and on her face her expression conveys the lightbulb finally kicking on full swing. "WAIT SLIME BOY AGAIN?" Face to face with the party as Shiina yells out, she'd offer them a somber yet playful grin. "Welcome, persistent aren't we?" She'd look them over and notice the additions from times prior. "It's been some time, hasn't it? I am curious how far you've moved along down that road?" Morrighan goads as she starts to stroll, as if beckoning them deeper into the depths of the sewers, toward an awaiting trial fitting their sudden and consistent pursuit. Answers taught not through words but through action, experience gleaned through confrontation. Such was the way of the roads she had traveled in the past. How better for them to learn then by following in her footsteps? Into that side passage she finds herself centered, and should they give chase they will find green begin to collect from ports on the walls. Their opposition that would offer not an ease of entry. A spray of green slime freezes midair and clatters against a sewer wall as ill colored hail. Through cloth covered mouth she jerks back took toward her party. "There are more." Before she pivots and folds back to avoid an attack from the others. The weapon in her grasp clicks shut and sends a sharp detonation of frost to claim her chosen victim as she continues back using her left hand to continue to tumble. As soon as her feet hit the ground she lunges straight up and vanishes in a puff of white mist. To the darker areas of obscurity, the girl sizes her opponents and waits for the opportunity to strike again as the rest of her party moves in for the kill. In that instant as mirages of her shape are left across the room, she seems to blink into the final one and dumps a massive wave of cobalt blue into all of her respective victims screaming out "EAT SHIT!". The slimes screech and begin to bubble, their bodies being phase changed to steam. The room fills with what was once part of their digital bodies, and as they frenetically wave bladed arms into the obscurity they would find that the woman was long since gone. Slipped out within the smokescreen made of their own shapes. Behind a nearby wall, the redhead keeps her back pressed against it with a glint in her eyes. Masking the faint taste of excitement on her tongue, a soft exhale to keep her breathing steady. Pressing it into his shoulder, he taps it twice with his mallet causing it to ring out in a *clack clack* causing it to light in a dimly lit orange flame. The massive colossus starts to charge with that barrier held high, picking up a fair amount of speed before he impacts hard into an awaiting victim. It causes the creature to get steamrolled flat as he bull rushes clean through it much akin to Piasuhon would, sending a spray of green out from the point of impact. As soon as hits the back wall, he lifts a heavy foot and uses it as a momentum breaker. With a heavy grunt the man stops dead and pivots to face the remaining forces of gelatin. The girls eyes dart up to her HUD and scan her party members, finding that Celeste had just dumped out a huge amount of her stamina bar in what seemed like an instant. "Woof." Shiina extrudes as she turns her head into her armor, grasping at the neck hole and lifting it to slink inside a bit. Fishing out a stone she'd tap it twice against the metallic plating causing it power up. The prism starts to glow in a soft green color and hum out the beginnings of a song. Dropping it at her feet, the girl would join alongside her backup singer as her voice would take to a much higher volume. Celeste's stamina bar transitions from a normal yellow to much more vibrant blue, as Shiina links herself to it. As a result, a twist of her finger on an imaginary slider sees it start to skip a beat. Eruda 0 Posted September 16 #12 Share Posted September 16 Seeing the others rush into battle, pulling out the sword and shield. That burning sensation lingers as she walks toward the commotion. Around the corner as it starts to become harder to breathe... What the hell was this. Just in time to see both Celeste and Setsuna vanish within the darkness. Daddy's hammer takes to one of the foul-smelling creatures, a small smile as she began to hear Shiina sing. Eruda starts to make faster pace toward the creatures, this was her family, nothing would come ill of them. Sliding to a stop, closing her eyes, takes a deep breath, suddenly her eyes flash open and when they do a large burst of crazed blue flames ignite outward from her. You could feel the heat, and it was so damn hot. The slimes around screech out in snarling pain as that attention was drawn. Glancing around quickly, everything was on fire that could be. The walls lined with slug and now flames, the ground stays lit as well. She was sorta glad that her team couldn't be damage by it... They were standing in a fired hall now... The creatures slide at her on fire and slam against her shield, it doesn't faze her much just annoying, but this... what she did was intriguing... Seems that the girl was still learning the deeper nuance in the gift she had received still. It was a bit obtuse that they all seemed to be so far behind her expectations, yet she shouldn't be surprised given they lacked the same escapades that lead her to a much more explosive success. "That's it?" The woman goads finding a space to claim on the wall, folding her arms across her chest and taking a pose that would portray that which she borrowed her newfound english from. Her expectation was a lot more prevelant then to the appearance. Sure she had tapped it, but to such a minute degree that it was thin and flimsy. "Try harder, I can barely fill the heat back here." They would all see their skills skip a beat and become available far too quickly. The very song seems to amplify to such intensity that the creatures in the chamber quiver from the vibrations. The songstress holds fast as her hair shifts to a stark and rich platinum blonde, as the sounds echo down the corridor. NPC's in the street above would start to hear the muffled music beneath their very feet. Within that moment the circle beneath the girls feet twists and molds into showing a few rings of power locking over the top of the existing one, transitioning it to a sharp gold as well. This was a technique that normally took Shiina a lot more effort to tap. The white haired woman was pushing them. Just what the hell was happening these days? Celeste tries to keep her head in the game despite the system seeming to fucking be destroyed around her. She manages to close the gap and offers a singular wide swing as the room fills with flames not her own. Creatures trapped within them are left defenseless as her cleaver collects and discharges that flame into a singular defined point. Like a vacuum it turns into a letter of destruction, in a massive wave of heat. The beasts are immediately vaporized and converted to steam, and Celeste stares back at her party in disbelief as wash in cardinal smokes. The confusion fades into a very sharp smile "Do it again." The woman ordered, finding the sudden potency a bit intoxicating. Her weapon twists and finds itself placed upon her right shoulder, draped across her neck behind her head. Setsuna 0 Posted September 16 #16 Share Posted September 16 Standard Recovery +4 EN, Vanish Refreshed More hostiles begin to bleed out of drainage pipes looking for blood from those that had penetrated their domain. Despite the fact the room had just become a massive hellscape, and the simple fact was Setsuna hated the heat. She would rush them down as soon as there was enough body to strike at, causing them to freeze at numerous points. Bits and pieces of them becoming solid shrapnel as its flung through the air and splatters like a handful of rocks against the sewer walls. The HP bars that she could see would show their vitality plummet in response, proving that the wide cleave was effective but most certainly wasn't her strong suit. Without a moment of hesitation the girl would vanish into a puff of smoke as quickly as she came. Into the shadows where she would stalk her prey and seek out her next opportunity to make another lethal blow. Squinting he hurriedly seeks out his daughter, and is almost taken aback realizing that she was the source. "Are you alright?" Griswold asks checking her over like a concerned parent would and should be. No obvious signs of harm yet even still it was an obtuse thing to see. He'd blink but its hidden within his plate helmet. Righting himself and staring at the newly formed opposition, the man looks back to his child "Looks like we aren't done. Stand strong." As he does he slams the shield twice and causes it to spark, rushing through the group like a bowling ball through pins. They splatter and are tossed in sections across the sewer floor, like lime green puddles of sticky molasses. Eruda 0 Posted September 16 #18 Share Posted September 16 +4 EN Recovery, (No Recovery Proc) Full EN Battle Healing Activates +49 HP So much pent up heat from the girl, it was so weird seeing so much fire. Hearing her father, glancing around for him, "I think so..." saying in almost a question as she glancing down to her hands and armor. Nothing seeing to have scorch marks. Seeing the new slime's frantically trying to find a target, Eruda would grin before her eyes flare once more, seeing in the corner of her eyes, a few thinking that they would cause some pain to her father "BEHIND YOU DAD," as he turns just in time to catch their blows. Eruda closed her eyes once more, soon after that pent up energy releases into a outraged flame in every direction. Hearing some creatures in the tunnels around them that have yet shown themselves as the flames travel further that before. The others around her catch ablaze as they shreek toward the tank, Eruda's eyes flash open and they hit the shield, causing them more pain then they did to her. Seeing one just melt down into a puddle, Eruda smiles. Keeping everything still lit, it was a heat box in here... A soft whisper in Shiina's ear as the cry was in full swing, her hand twists and flares. Like pulling on an imaginary handle her right hand upturns and drags upward. This is followed by a similar gesture with her other. The very room shakes and the ring beneath them all surges with red light. "Battlefield Overture!" The girl offers with an odd sense of seriousness that usually she does not wear. Weapons a plenty wielded by the group would then surge in lights and transition into a starfield of color. The tones and shades would match their normal arts yet are much more illuminated like worn torches. The symbol stamped in a 15 ft circle gently twists and snaps into place, exerting Shiina's will as the spirit contained within her is made manifest. A platinum blonde hair and an urge to see them grow overshadowed her normally wacky composure. Another spark and those vigilant enough to catch it would see her iris take on a magnificent shade of silver, as some skill or cardinal function was being fired yet the effects would remain unseen. The slimes stir and scatter looking to keep up the pressure with some unnatural vigor, desperate to deal some damage to the party that was threatening the place they were spawned from. "It would appear that they are not going to take this sitting down." She'd offer the party with the most playful and twisting delight, unsure if she was attempting to discourage or encourage them. This is coupled with the coy smile she adorned, a simply sickly yet gentle smile as if this was all a game and she was enjoying herself during its existence. Once the task is done, she takes her vow of silence and eagerly watches how they will fair against these foes.
