[F26-PP-PT] In the depths of despair, a spark (Slime Conundrum)

The sudden surge causes Celeste's very form to scatter as blue flames start to echo off her shoulders like smoke off of a fireplace. Looking down to her left hand, they trickle there and soft bluish embers escape as she clasps it into a fist. She felt good... Her weapon is yanked up and the air cuts away as it does, leaving a trail of bluish fire that shared a similar tone to Eruda's albeit darker and less natural. Pointing at her target, her body seems to gain mirror images that leap out from her like ghosts yet she still stands firm as it does. Once the ghost reaches to who she had targeted the woman seems to take possession of it and it suddenly fills with color. A detonation of flame as she turns on booted heel and slams that cleaver of hers against the stone with such a potent amount of force that the ground caves in and bits of stone from the ceiling rain down from above. Even the lantern that hung limply swayed angrily at the impact.

Once the dust settles, there was a lot less enemies and a horrifying splatter that proved she had hit it.

Slime Polyp:

Slime Worm:
Predator: On an MD 10, <<Slime Worm>> will attack again. This effect cannot occur twice in a row.
Toxic Touch: If an attack roll against a <<Slime Worm>> results in an CD 10+, the player will lose 3 base DMG for the next two turns. This effect does not stack.

Slime Abomination:
Back and Forth: If a <<Slime Abomination>> takes 500 DMG before its next turn, it will attack twice during the following turn.
Strength in Numbers: If any other Slime monsters are alive, every second attack, the <<Slime Abomination>> will instead heal every Slime for its DMG.
Unison: If another Slime monster falls, <<Slime Abomination>> will gain +10 DMG for the rest of the battle.

Standard Recovery +4 EN

Like a phantom a singular blue line appears across the battlefield seemingly without any warning. It draws through her opponent and lingers for a moment as the girl apparates into existence like gathering fog. A turn of a still smoking katana as the permafrost hisses out from that evercold steel and falls to the floor, a turn in her clutches sees it to a saya still strapped to her left hip. A slow slide like an ill omen, as the opponent starts to rush her down in haste and aggression. *click* it snaps shut.... Followed by a ruthless detonation of ice like cancer that screams itself across the slimes surface and causes it to break away in pieces, sending it scattering the floor like a bag full of stones. Setsuna turns back toward her party, her eyes ablaze in that ice blue shade before she turns and leaps. Vanishing into nothing more then mist, as if she was nothing more then a spector or a figment of the imagination. Of the walls like a murmur, the voice confirms "One down, on standby for the next target."

Standard Recovery +4 EN

A stomp of his foot against the wall as his stampede completes, stopping him dead like a train. "There wont be a next time." The man barks toward the girl as his hammer drops to the floor, and with a twist of his well build upper torso its flung across the chamber. It punches clean through the target, dead center. The smith grabs the chain and undenounced to him it suddenly catches ablaze as he starts to change hands, dragging the creature who desperately flails trying to get the weapon out of its body. A gentle and nearly dying heat, yet still rich enough to show. Like a fishing line, Griswold retracts that chain and pulls his opponent to him, and head butts it with a steeled helmet before following with what almost turns into a brawl. Attack after attack, the slime turns into an anvil as the smith beats it to hell and back. Proving his endurance and his tempered fury, the smith could go 12 rounds and the slime couldn't. With a final pant, Griswold was covered in it, as its left as nothing more then a puddle.

Battle Healing Activates +49 HP

Watching Papa smash the slime like pudding, it was rather nice working with them again. "Get your rest everyone, the next encounter won't be so forgiving." Looking around to the flurry of flames left, Eruda puts the sword on her back and holds out her hand toward them flame... She had done this once before but not with such a large amount, she had to try... Closing her eyes and focusing on that fire that came from her, a deep inhale as that hand closes and that blue heat is snuffed out into nothing. Opening her eyes now, seeing it gone, she smiles. "I gained something that I was not sure I could handle," looking to her father, "With time I think I just might be able to," a smile toward him. That energy still burned within her but it was a bit more pleasant rather that uncomfortable. There was much to learn but she was a fast study. She could of swore that she heard Nisa's voice but glancing around she was nowhere to be found, that or she was just blind... Taking out her sword again she would be ready to move when they were.

Relaxed [1/2]

Vanish CD {2/3}, Charge CD {2/3}

A soft pant in the dark, the girl would allow her energy to recover before the next escapade. Otherwise she'd risk running out completely, and it was a habit she was trying to break. Within that time however, she would remain vigilant eagerly assuring that no creatures would meander in out of the dark. Within that time her attentions become a bit lax as she checks her gear, as if waiting out the designated timer and making sure that her attire was fitted properly. A sharp inhale upon her perch, her breathing starts to stabilize. Setsuna scours the slimes, checking them and this is the point she looks down to see the white haired woman staring up at her as if expectantly. It was silently goading her to continue despite their decided pause. Biting her lip she comes to look away, lest she break her concealment no matter how much it was getting under her skin.

Vanish CD {2/3}, Charge CD {2/3}

Taking a place on the back wall, Celeste folds her arms after planting her cleaver at her side the woman takes to relaxing. "So what was all this?" Celeste asks the room, trying to get a deeper understanding at exactly what this was supposed to be. Yet none could offer her really a straight answer, and the random 6th in their party surely wasn't saying a word. This is why the red head enjoyed Galtea so much, it was much simpler to understand blowing shit up and throwing people. Here it felt like they were battling with some intense puzzle where no one knew how a single piece fit with another. Like trying to build a bridge out of chop sticks. "No one?" She'd offer again, and its met with nothing more then a string of shrugs excluding Shiina who just laughs quite sharply. The blood raven repays this with a nasty glare.

The soft sound on her HUD, a gentle blip provides the feedback that confirms she was ready to continue. Opening her HUD she'd type out a message to Eruda as to not break her cover, allowing the tank to know that she was prepared. This is the point where her hand would make motions toward the handle of her blade. Clutching carefully the grip she waited in a suspenseful silence for what was to come next as the slurping noises rung out somewhere deeper within that drain pipe on the wall. The timing couldn't have been more perfect, for if it was a minute earlier they would not have had this opportunity at all. With interest Setsuna's attentions fixated and locked to that porthole taking the shape of a brown and rusted pipe jutting out of the eastern wall, where every so often a small amount of water would squeak out.

Unfolding her arms and grabbing the handle of wash in cardinal, that fates armiger is tossed limply onto her right shoulder. "You hear that?" The woman remarks as her attentions start to lock to the echoing sounds firing out of the rusted pipe on the wall. Shoving her face near the opening the smell was rancid and yet she squints in. "Looks like we've got company, get ready!" Celeste barks as she beats feet from the opening and flares up, her weapon becoming much more solid and flashing in a flashfire of cobalt blue. Just then a notable ping proved that her energy had just hit its limit. "Fuck yeah! Come get some idiot~" The woman offered in the jubilant show of prepared moxie. It would be at this point a sudden surge of lime green fires out of that hole like a cannon, and like pond scum it splatters along the floor. Green paint starts to swell and form up a full fledged body.

*Optimal Turn Order

Eying the group expectantly Morrighan was eager to see how they'd fair. Some had already fought in this rodeo yet most of them had not, and a flash of silver on her eyes would goad the beast into a much more violent frenzy. "Now now, best not get hasty..." The woman remarked toward it as it scanned those closest to it and started swinging. A slow of its movement, as it would size up its competition and seek out the weakest among them. "That's a good boy. Now then, who has what it takes?" Her chipper and slightly conniving tone continued to play out, pushing the party toward some secret or their own nightmares. The choice was left for them to palate. Would they rush into face danger unknown or would they retreat and pull themselves from harm. She'd walk past the creature and give it too solid pats of an open hand, before clearing the area. Better view and less chance of being in the way. The audience was in session.

Pure Structure: Any DoT effects on the boss will last half their original duration, except for Burn. Afflicting the boss with Burn will also deal double damage to it.
Self Sustaining: On a CD 9+, <<Slime King>> will heal 100 HP at the end of his turn.
Royal Gel: On an MD 9-10, the <<Slime King>> will launch an AoE attack at the four players with the highest hate, dealing 160 DMG and afflicting them with T4 Blight for two turns. This skill cannot occur once <<Gelatinous Form>> has activated.
Quick Split: On a CD 9+ and LD 10+, the <<Slime King>> will not attack and instead, summon a <<Slime Abomination>> to his aid. A <<Slime Abomination>> can only be summoned once per turn. This skill is deactivated once <<Gelatinous Form>> has activated twice.
Gelatinous Form: Every time the boss’ health reaches 0, two more Kings will spawn, using the next lowest HP available. If a Slime King with the lowest amount of max HP possible dies, he will not spawn any more.

Hyperactive has faded

The goading and the sudden steroid the opposition was on. "Yeah yeah..." The girl offers a dismissal and hefts both hands on the cleaver, dropping the point below her right arm and sliding her left hand down it. It burns and glows hot, angry and willing to dish out whatever her rage wished to dole out. A violent tear up as its cocked above her left shoulder, proceeded by the quickened footsteps of heeled boots. Like a rhythmic clicking. Releasing the held dragon, the weapon splits the air as it moves. It makes impact and causes a high-pitched whine as Celeste lets it fire, forcing the dull blade to rip clean through and phase change a fair portion of the beasts body. Immediately vaporized into a cloud of steam. It shrieks and waves two arms toward her in a frenzy, forcing the redhead on the defensive. "I like your fight idiot, thought you'd be a push over."

The bitter cold of Setsuna roars out among the battlefield, like a foreboding wave that would cause the stomach to churn and become uneasy. Within moments the field is washed white, transitioning into this secreted place as the sounds fell down to nothing. In that silence, the beast continues to freak. Horrified and trapped in this sudden shift of existence. A singular glimmer to which it cannot respond fast enough to catch. The click sees the weapon close, and with it an arm is ripped from her opponent in a horrifying display of destruction. What isn't reduced to rubble is locked solid in a frame of ice, utterly distraught and compromised. The king hobbled as its right arm became to heavy to lift, its stomach all but intact in a missing chunk of its digital flesh. Setsuna would turn to face her foe, her eyes matched its intensity in a sharp and burning ice colored glow. The creature in the mist, the last thing you'll ever see.

Standard Recovery +4 EN

The foundation of a man, a 6'9 giant finds his opponent through sheer tenacity and intensity. Its compromised and frozen quite readily with half of its body trapped. The smith smiles beneath the cobalt plated helmet, and twirls the mallet clutched in his right hand. What would follow is him beating that statue with every ounce of strength he could muster, like pounding rock into sand the attacks flow like a wild animal. Strike after strike, the bashing continues in the almost brutal and lopsided street brawl. A proof of the titan's endurance and his urge to put this thing down, he lacked the finesse of the rest of his group but he made up for it in spades when it came to muscle bound fisticuffs. Once he finally stops, there's nothing more then flakes of snow that was once the opponent. Only the unfrozen pieces slink away and struggle to reclaim a shape. The fog clears.

Standard Recovery +4 EN Full Energy

Watching the fog clear, hearing those attacks cut through, the group has really come a long way. Glancing to the members of her party now to make sure they were all okay, seeing how they didn't have visual for a moment, Setsuna and Celeste were around here somewhere, papa was doing okay, then she looks to Shiina... Anna, a smile peers on Eruda's lips. It was always nice seeing her other sister, hearing the King rampage as something shatters, her eyes revert back. It seemed to be starting to attack her father and instant rage surges through Eruda as a light blue hue starts to illuminate from her frame. Right then, "I am your target, LEAVE THEM BE," as an explosion of bright blue light bursts toward the creature at a crazy speed. Within that light flames swirl almost like a beam toward it, impacting right to its chest. Reeling back, it looks toward Eruda. Setting her shield up, getting ready for an attack from the foul creature. It slowly slides to Eruda as its frame ignites in blue flames.

A flick of her wrist as the creature starts to assail Eruda with every ounce of courage it had left. A wave of force out from the girl with an intense stare that drastically was disjointed as compared to her normal composure. The song twists into something much more sorrowful, and in the edges and undertones the hollow whispers of the damned murmur beneath it. Shiina's hand extends out toward the beast and Eruda, as if taking aim. "To those who threaten my allies, my kin shall be burned to ash." Shiina offers with a look of serenity and yet a notable glare. Her eyes gloss over in a sharp gold, her platinum blonde hair flutters as a shadow is cast over the top half of her face. The ring glows sharply and casts light from below, filling the room with the same. Eruda's flames suddenly scream and start to burn bright, hotter and hotter. Until evidently, another voice is heard. "There it is."

As if a command word is spoken, the entire room would detonate in a blinding wave of energy. Shiina is forced into blinking as something far greater had finally been tapped. Once her vision returns, white flames that cause even bones nearby to smolder fill the room.

*Optimal Turn Order

As the room filled with light the woman couldn't be more ecstatic. The entire reason why the group was here in the first place had finally been scratched. As the flash bang cleared, and soft embers in white clung to nearly every surface the woman would respond in a way that none other present would.

*clap clap clap*

A round of applause as finally there was some obvious progress. "Well Done, Well Done~" the musical twist to her words as she'd take a gander on the slime king who was boiling and smoking given his proximity to where the skill had went off. "Now, I want to see you do it on purpose instead of on accident. You need to be able to do it when I am not here." The woman offers as she reaches toward a nearby wall and seems to pluck the mote of flame from it, cradling it in her hands as if she was inspecting it curiously.

The round of applause doesn't detract Celeste from continuing her assault upon this creature, as the woman's appearance scatters in an ethereal tear. Her very solidarity is called into question as a mirage version of her blinks out from her body and seeks out the target before she does. As soon it is within striking distance however, Celeste suddenly takes its place and gains full color instead of the almost transparent glass like appearance of the duplicate. A sudden discharge of cobalt blue as she tears the wash in cardinal across the Slime King with surprising fervor. The creatures HP plummets down in a vorpal rip and sudden empty of its bar. The woman follows through it completely, as her momentum keeps her moving as she needs to fight her own drive forward. The beast struggles and stirs as the massive wound quivers and starts to suck itself back closed.

Another wave of power, Shiina was firing on all cylinders like a v6 pickup truck. Her vocals would sound as though they were being torn through a speaker system yet all that volume was coming from somewhere deep within. She'd keep up her musical tirade that would allow her team to continue to operate at full capacity. Yet even still she wasn't entirely sure what had transpired not but seconds prior. Such was the way of faith and despite the rest of her team's possible questioning, Shiina would choose to accept what be and let it roll off her shoulders. A lift of her hands in a sweeping motion, they are drawn in toward her chest before released out like some sort of dance move, and with it a pulse ripples out along the drawn symbol. HUDs skip a beat and skills refresh sharper then they should, the little icons immediately filled with color.

A weaponized scalpel, the cyan blue trace of existential dread wormed its way through the battlefield like a laser focused omen of death. It lingers for a moment before a puff of smoke would show its source, a long purple scarf wrapped around her throat appearing almost weightless as she pops into existence. The glimmer of a katana on her back being returned to its scabbard as a method of foreshadowing the fact that it had been used. Once its finally snapped closed, it causes a wide chunk of green to erase itself from the slime king's bar. Making it known that her attack connected, the Slime King seemed to have issue choosing a target even still. A wide sweep of its arms toward anything in range, he would connect with Setsuna's shape but it would stir like smoke as it was clearly no longer her. The girl was already long gone, only a ghost left behind...

The titanic colossus of a man, a well built complex of muscle and mass keeps his potent form of oppression as he blocks the incoming swipe before his right arm wraps the point of contact. Around the bladed arm he curves that pillar of flesh of his trapped in cobalt steel, turning it up and pulling it in closer. A singular knee followed by a headbutt causes his foe to stumble, allowing him the opportunity to continue his assault with a solid bash with his shield. The solid *thung* of it rings out, causing a spray of a sickly orange kindling as Griswold tosses a chain past the beast before ripping the chain around its upper half. The hammer gets caught on something far back like a grappling hook, and the smith clamps down both hands on the chain. His muscles flex and veins pop up becoming visible beneath tanned skin.

What follows is the mountain of a man ripping the king over his head and pile driving it into a nearby wall using the chain like a convenient hoist. The thing detonates like a water balloon sending a spray of green in all directions and covering him in the gunk.

Battle Healling Activates +49

Eruda watches as the large creature reels back against her fathers attack. Being attacked in every direction. Frantically looking around trying to figure who to go for. "Let me help you decide," as she swipes her sword to her right as an aura of flames illuminate her body. Focusing on the thing now, "ON ME," calls out above the music around them, right then blue fire explodes from Eruda in every direction, igniting the creatures frame. Little did Eruda know, the hotness of her outburst was melting everything around, setting bones that lay around on the slime filled ground. It was getting very heated in here, and for some reason she felt like it had something to do with the white haired woman standing in the corner. It was like she was pushing the power out that had maybe always been inside. This was showing Eruda's true intentions and whether she knew what she was doing or not, she would take it.

The King apparently thought that he was going to die, he would be right, regardless it would be seen that something falls out from its slime filled body as another foul thing enters the battle field. "Heads up guys, it looks like the king is scared," saying as she moves closer to it and puts her shield up. It smashes against the metal and reel back in pain. "Perfect," readjusting her feet as all eyes were on the new addition.

Slime Abomination:
Back and Forth: If a <<Slime Abomination>> takes 500 DMG before its next turn, it will attack twice during the following turn.
Strength in Numbers: If any other Slime monsters are alive, every second attack, the <<Slime Abomination>> will instead heal every Slime for its DMG.
Unison: If another Slime monster falls, <<Slime Abomination>> will gain +10 DMG for the rest of the battle.
