As the athletic one in the family, it came as no surprise when she earned a scholarship for her exceptional volleyball skills. With dreams of one day going pro, Wren’s focus and determination on the court were unmatched, and she seemed destined for greatness in the sport she loved. Her brother was her opposite—more quiet, reserved, but with a deep passion for gaming. To bridge the gap between their different worlds, Wren decided to join him in the VR game Sword Art Online (SAO), seeing it as an opportunity to bond. She adopted the in-game name "Valkyrie," inspired by her desire to protect her brother and the warrior spirit that defined her on the volleyball court. However, what was supposed to be a fun and shared experience quickly turned into a nightmare when they, along with thousands of others, became trapped in the game. Determined to protect her brother, Valkyrie immediately took up arms, throwing herself into battles and navigating the dangerous floors of Aincrad with unmatched determination. She became known for her fearlessness and strength, pushing her brother to survive alongside her as they sought a way to escape. Tragically, her efforts to keep him safe were not enough. In a brutal encounter with PKers, her brother was killed, right before her eyes. This event shattered Valkyrie, awakening a vengeful side she hadn’t known she possessed. Her protective nature twisted into something darker—she was no longer just fighting to escape but to avenge her brother and protect others.
