The fragrant scents that filled the air were as sharp as they were alien. Morrighan meandered here using the population as a form of shield from prying eyes, as well as offering herself the opportunity to witness how it was the denizens were existing. It was odd, that the tundra had claimed the isle of Belvast. Despite this change however, the place still took to its commerce dealings in spades. Each waltz down packed corners was met with equally flamboyant sights. "Miss?" an NPC would ask as the woman moved through, her clothing beyond foreign to the man. "Yes? Out with it." she'd sport her usual smile that hinged closely to messing with you. "Would you like to peruse my wares?" To which the woman responds by moving closer to his given stall. "That depends, do you have an golden apple of Eden written upon a stone epitaph in there? How about a Falias Dew? Cromm Cruaich's warhorn?"

The NPC seemed shocked and looked down hastily and back at Morrighan "I sell cinnamon." he'd reply to which the white haired woman would rake her right hand around her ear, removing the hair that had since poured over her brow. "You sell cinnamon? Fine, I suppose I can make some firebrand whiskey or feed it to a hotspring monkey." she'd hand the man some coin, and take two fresh sticks of pure unground cinnamon. A flash of silver light would see it vanish into a corner pocket, gone away to free her hands. "Oh how I missed this in my isolation, although these are not human they act the same. Well done, 'Kaiba' at duplicating your last attempt." The clicking of her heels down the streets of Lhasri glowed with morning light.

Shutting the door to the bathroom, Gaius was out of the house and there was shopping they had to do. It was nice to wear something casual for once. A pair of shorts with legging and a fluffy brown coat that length past her knees. It was something that Eruda made her a while ago but Freya had been so busy that there was never a time to wear such attire. Picking up a list from the table top and a paper coffee cup, Freya was going somewhere new today.

Walking the streets Lhasri, it was very crowded. Getting advice from Simmone, it was were she frequented more of the rare ingredients that were needed. The air was full of many spices, most that she was not familiar with. Glancing to each stall with the sheet dangling in her hand. Running into a few folk that were dressed very colorfully. It was a bit blinding, but Freya would manage especially if she could find what she was looking for. Seeing a splatter of fruits and veggies that she could get nearly anywhere. Guessing that maybe she would start with one thing at a time. Gaius wanted Cat Fish and Salmon, saying that they had different taste to them but to be honest Freya never noticed. The man had a better pallet than she did and with that made him a better chef. Just a hard truth, one that Freya didn't like admitting to him.

Finding a stall that was littered with many fish all of different colors laid upon ice chunks. Looking for the coloring that Gaius told her they would be, also said that they would have a distinct smell to them. Leaning forward closing her eyes and taking a whiff. The shop keeper would look at the girl confusingly trying to figure out what she was doing.

781224911856414404.jpgThe woman would see to dusting off her hands, causing a reddish brown powder to slide off into a small puff of equally colored film. A glance up toward a sapphire blue sky as the somber fall of snow would skitter through the air, the climate holding a very frigid bite. So much so that every exhale from her would see a wave of white from her lips. "I've missed this." Morrighan remarks to no one, finding a space to begin to peruse another set of wares. This stall in particular seemed to deal entirely in fabrics, and the temptation to take to a simpler pleasure was boiling in her stomach. It had would have been what felt like centuries that she had picked up a spool and thimble, a needle and thread. "I suppose, it couldn't hurt anything. After all it was in Belvast I learned my first trade route." The NPC smiles and hands her a small tailoring kit for the small price of 100 col. Looking down at her attire, her shape and realizing her own face. The one of Kirine.

A flash of the purist silver would claim her body, as she'd seemingly change as if through the use of <<Disguise>>. The appearance sporting one that Aincrad had never seen before now. In a rich robe of crimson, much younger and probably about 6 inches shorter. Even her voice lacked the same maturity. "There, that's much more timely. Now if you would. Some fabric." Nisa would ask the merchant who was stuck in a stupor due to what he'd just witnessed. Blinking twice, he'd show her a couple bundles. "Its been a while, maybe some headbands to get my skills back." Fabric would start getting clipped and cut, pulled and folded right where she stood. Bits of unneeded fabric would fall gracefully to the floor as she'd work.

Smelling nothing really... They all smelt the same, great. Well the NPC's should be smart enough to know what they were selling right? Meeting the hardy looking man eyes that was full of confusion. "Are any of these Catfish or Salmon and stop with that face. Was told something that apparently was made to look like I was stupid. Fish please..." Putting a hand to his mouth and clearing his throat, pointing to 2 different types of fish. One with whiskers almost and the other a very large specimen. "I only deal in the best quality here, it will cost you." Twisted her head slightly with a hand on her hip that was bowed out slightly. "I could pay you extra for something I could find probably in the waters of this floor or," holding out a finger for another suggestive demand, "I can tell people that you were just judging me and kill any business that you would get from here on out." Taking out 10 col for the lot, staring at the man with a stern look showing that she was completely serious in her remark. "20 and I'll through in this Red Salmon too. Please don't tell people that. I have worked to hard to fetch these. I would usually charge 50 for each but please don't..." Pulling out 30 col. It almost seemed as though he was terrified of Freya, not sure what for but she hands him the col and takes the 3 fish. Walking away now, seeing a bit of the black mist pour out. Everything made sense now. Thinking in her head -Cool it will ya. I don't want them to piss themselves.- A demented laughter could be heard right after.

Parading the stalls, there was still a lot to find. Finding one that looks like spices, reeked of Cinnamon that blasted her nose. "Do you sell anything that isn't Cinnamon?" Looking curiously at the woman in a long red entire. "No but there are different types of it if your interested." Freya simply nods and as the woman is speaking Freya is looking around to the other stalls. Laying upon a young woman just a few shops down wearing a bright red dress? No it wasn't that, robe... Half robe, was there even such a thing? Freya wasn't good in fabrics. "Yea ill take a bag of them all," pulling out some col not realizing how much she actually pulled out or the amount of Cinnamon she got. Takes the bags and starts walking.

The woman was cutting her own fabric, only seen it be done in a shop. "So what brings you to these parts," hand full of bags that were not yet placed in her satchel. "You don't look native to this place so I know your not an NPC." Eyeing the woman's height, smaller than Freya was. "This place is pretty huge, anything i can help you find, not that I would be much help but I can try."

Untitled design (2).pngA pull of a needle through the fabric as she continues to fold and cross stitch feverishly, the NPC before her still riddled in a stupor. Here this girl was, taking up the main space of his stall seeming to sew right in the damn way. The guy didn't know how to respond. "Damn..." she'd respond to further accent his confusion without any context. "More fabric please." the girl would gesture to another section of folded white cloth as she'd cast the incomplete white headband to the ground as if it were rubbish. It would be at this point she'd be met with the daughter of sorrow, the very same that she was borrowing her own updating into a more current mindset. "You know how it is, just getting my city legs again. Spent a long time doing nothing, being able to do nothing. Its a little... boring." Spoken to her right as her attention was solely focused on her craft. Cutting the string with her teeth, Nisa would turn it in her hands. "Ugh, Again!" to the man behind the stall who was now starting to appreciate the sudden strike of business. Another 50 col down the drain, and another shoddy headband on the street. "Yanno what? I think I know what the problem is. My mind is in it but my body isn't..." Her eyes flare in a vibrant silver and in mere moments so too would be her body.

Like staring into the sun, albeit a cooler bluer light. Once that light fades she's wearing a completely different set of clothes. "Wrong outfit, now lets try this crap again..." Twisting a needle for a third and hopefully final time. "So what brings you to Lhasari, doing some grocery shopping in these parts isn't normally the ideal. Most of what you would need should be available in Dunba..." The sentence falls flat as she shakes her head. "The town of beginnings on floor 1."

Covering her eyes as to not be blind, this girl was pretty weird. Glancing back to a completely different outfit. "I don't remember changing cloths being that bright. I have grown a custom to changing them manually to sorta hit home a little more." Freya leans down to grab the hair bands, after placing the bags in her satchel. They were being dirtied, "You mind if I take these. My sister likes to make nothing into something. Has a real talent for this sorta stuff." Setting the bands on the counter out of the way till she got the answer. It was mentioned that the girl did nothing for a long time, was she one of the players sitting around in the town of beginnings, another up-bringer. One that finally found the courage to leave the starter town.

"My fiance and I have be experimenting with different ingredients. Making new recipes for others to enjoy. There was nothing more that town could give us so with a friends recommendation I came here." Watching the girl sew, it was rough around the edges. "We are making a cook book since literally all the books here seem to resolve in mechanics of the game and how it works. Rather boring when read a hundred times over." Digging into her food bag, pulling out a Sweet Honey Roll. Made with a sweet bread, it looked almost like a cinnamon roll but more connect. It didn't come apart in a circle when torn. A heavy drizzle of a blend made from caramel and cinnamon sugar syrup. "I made them myself, it might taste a bit different but its my best work yet." Holding the bun out to the girl.

Realizing that the girl tried calling the town of beginning something else, "Is Dunba a town from back home," it was fascinating seeing the girl work, reminded her a lot of Eruda without the anger. "I'm Freya by the way," it was only polite to give the name. Didn't feel like this person would do her any harm.

Pulling the final strand would see the thing come into a solid shape. "Not my best work, but clearly better then anything your finding in a store these days." Nisa looks down and grabs both sides, tugging it apart and seeing how readily it snaps back into shape. "You shouldn't take those, unless your sister is familiar with a dry oven your not going to get anywhere with them. The threadwork is a little off, probably do to the poor quality of the fabric." That sentence interpreted by the shop keeper who was within earshot. "Hey, if your going to be judging my good quality perhaps do it somewhere else?" he'd cut in to which Nisa would turn and take to a smile barely meeting eyes with him over his stand. "Maybe if your fabric wasn't slapped together it wouldn't be so terrible. Work on your trade." That shuts him up, but you can see his face turn red.

Leaning forward with that headband pulled tightly, she'd reach up and snap it around Freya's head. "This is a decent place to find spices, but I wouldn't be shopping for fish. Tundra fauna tends to be more lean and gamey." The girl would look down into a shopping bag. "Reading out of a book and cooking with bad ingredients will not make a good chef, Glewyas is surely turning over in a grave somewhere." It would be in this frenetic pouring over the woman that she'd klepto the hunk of pastry from the girl with a bit of left over fabric like a handkerchief. A small bite would see her turn her face, twisting and sticking out her tongue as it rubs the roof of her mouth. "Its greasy, far too sweet, and a bit dry. You have a lot to learn. This sucks. 3/10" A sharp judge of the cooking contest held fast in the girls memories.

"Nisa, given my current appearance that seems adequate." as she sets the left over piece of honey bun on the guys stall, furthering his respective outrage as she intended on leaving it there. "And typically I use wardrobe to change clothes, but I cant let him out just yet." Another quick flash and she was back into the reddish travel wear.

Jaw drops for a moment hearing that name, eyes go wide. Looking over the woman, not girl, far from. Clamping her mouth shut with a few fingers, crossing her arms. "Eruda doesn't need a dry oven, whatever that is. Simply put she would add to it and make use of it in some way." It was crazy seeing Nisahime here. Most people in her guild had an issue with her just existing because they didn't understand her. Freya didn't need to understand, the woman saved her life by just being in this world. If anything Freya was grateful. Taking the band off her head and collecting the others, placing it in her bag.

Taking out one of the fish she just bought, stretching it out feeling the texture. "God, I didn't bother looking at the quality but your right, it's shit." Pulling the grocery bag off her shoulder and walking back to the man that sold it to her. "You said this was the best but this is by far the worse. I can catch better fish than this crap you're selling." Throwing the bag at the man, hitting him chest who grips it with both hands. "You can keep the col cause now to be honest I just feel sorry for you." The man begins to tear up as Freya walks back to Nisa.

The stuff that was said about her perfectly crafted buns made her a bit mad but mainly agitated. More than anything now Freya wanted to be the best she could. "I don't care that my friends are chasing you around like a rodent on a wheel. I do not feel the need to figure you out but I do want to learn from you." This was a rare thing seeing her in a place like this and since Nisa has been, Freya started believing in Fate, something that she never thought she would do. Everything happened for a reason, "I will do anything you say, even put on a tiny pink apron if that suits your fancy. Please teach me to be a better chef." Judging her skills like Chef Ramsey would his sue chefs.

Suddenly a confused look appears on Freya's face thinking about another thing that Nisahime said, "What do you mean can't let him out," who was him and what did it have to do with a wardrobe.

The woman would look Freya up and down as she'd toss her groceries back toward the fomor without even a second thought. "That was a little dramatic don't you think?" A number of the nearby citizens would be visibly in agreement with her as they'd stop and stare at the pairing. "Eruda isn't going to be able to make anything good out of rubbish. Sometimes garbage is garbage. Without a dry oven she is going to end up with nothing more then scrap. Although I wouldn't expect anyone to understand that. There objects with quality and those without. Like your most recently returned purchase." Nisa would reach into Freya's bag, dividing out the headband that was successful and the bad ones. The girl would hand her back the good one, and toss the other two onto the street. "These ones are not worth carrying, or concerning yourself with. They are beyond your skillset, or your sisters. Leave them." Another instruction to a girl who just wouldn't get it, but perhaps she could learn to listen for once.

It would be at this point she'd start to wander toward one of Lhsarai's large bridges that were built across one of the massive expanses. This is the point where she'd take a space, looking off the side and into the drop below. A somber wind on the air, that would offer a chilling bite that would cause most to shiver. Folding her arms across the rim of the bridge, she'd peer off into the distance before glancing back at the daughter of sorrow. "You coming or what?" spoken toward the blonde and her newly formed pile of onlookers given her overly expressive response to being told that her ingredients where bad. On Nisa's face was the muddied expression of happiness and impatience.

Maybe the woman was right, being older than her entire life 10 times over. Freya gives a sigh, the acted that was just pictured into prying eyes was a bit extreme but Freya couldn't help it. Getting mad quickly at the simple things, short temper. Glancing to the ground watching the NPC's grab the hair bands and placing it on the heads, it was clear that the girl had a lot to learn. Wanting to apologist to the man but what was done was done. Remembering that Sam had said something about NPC's around certain towns acting different and showing more emotion than others, made her feel just a bit worse. Bundling the two sides of her jacket together as she heads towards the woman standing on the bridge.

'I let my anger get the best of me. Can't help it sometimes," glancing back to the man who now had people surrounding him. "Is it possible for these computer generated humans to generate emotions? Sam said their script was starting to change too." If anyone would know anything it would be Nisahime. The woman didn't belong in this world and knew things that only others could merely imagine. Waiting for her to continue moving forward, "May I ask where we are going?"

Freya began to doubt her pallet, everyone always told her that what she made was great. Were they lying to her to make her feel better or was it that they had never really tasted great food. There was a lot that needed to be learned, was afraid that everything she knew was going to have to be left behind, unlearned. It was a risk that she had to take to be better. One day she wanted to be a house wife for Gaius, weird to say but these last few months with the man has made her change the entire perspective on what she called life.

Unfolding her arms, Nisa would push herself from the guard rail and look at Freya as she'd pay her a sigh. The fomorians had taken to collecting the rubbish from the streets, as they always had. Likely to be used for some random bandage or whatever. "First, what are you doing with those groceries? Second, we will be making a trip to the town of beginnings. I hope you brought go-col. Col. because your going to be responsible for buying what I tell you to." Spoken like a set of instructions that commanded a sense of authority that clearly did not match her visible age. A few steps from the girl and she'd look toward her attire. "Oh right, guess I cant use that method can I?" A statement with no context as she'd begin to fiddle with a small pouch on her side, almost like a fanny pack yet on her back right hip concealed by the cover. "These will have to do the trick, lord how long have I had these?" searching her thoughts it had to be forever and a day.

Pulling them out, these small little wings of what looked like a pastel white maybe about the size of a standard smart phone. "Think of where you want to go, then squish the wax in your hand. Meet me in the town of beginnings in one hour. And to answer your previous question. Dunbarton, which was its original name." handing one to Freya she'd crush hers, and what sounds like a flapping of wings and seemingly disappear in a blink of an eye. No flash of light, completely unlike other methods. In that instant the girl would be within the white brick streets of the town of beginnings, without any warning to the nearby players or citizens of this city. "So familiar and yet so different."

Light breeze making her hair flutter against her shoulders. Staring to the little wax wings, it was different than the teleport crystals yet did the same thing. Did Nisa make them herself or was it just something that she had laying around. Such a mysterious person, the question that Freya asked was still unanswered. That could mean many things. Setting the wings in her pocket carefully as to not break it, could it even be broken. A chill down her spine, Freya would shiver. She had an hour, a pit stop to home to drop off this cinnamon. Stepping into the crowd once more, glaring eyes in every direction. Biting her bottom lip as she walks to the shop keeper that she hurt. Standing at the stall now, the others seemed to of cleared. Taking out a Honey Bun, slightly bowing with her arms outreached toward the man. "I am deeply sorry for earlier," was not even sure it was necessary, didn't even know if they would take it. Usually they only took col from the buyer. Feeling a slight weight being lifted from her hands. Eyes would look up pulling her arms back holding her jacket closed. "I know you have worked hard to gather all this, its just not what I was quite looking for." He was already eating what was given, "Thank you and apology accepted. I try to up sell, it's the only way that I can get people to by my fish." Tilting her head slightly up like she was thinking. "Maybe I can get you the good stuff. I am a fisher, know where some of the good spots are. You can pay me for the good stuff and in return what your charging won't seem like a rip off." A genuine smile toward the man. "I'm Freya," holding out a hand, he shakes it saying "Gale, and I guess that would be okay." Releasing her hand, "Then I will see you soon Gale." Keeping that happy face as she turns and starts walking toward the warp gate.

Door opens, Freya can hear scratching on the bathroom door. Shutting the door behind her, setting the bag on the table lets the little fur balls out. Peaking in, it was the only room that they couldn't deal real damage. Setting two bowls on the counter top, fetching a container from the fridge of special made kibble. Pushing the full dishes toward the two maniacs as they scramble to eat. Pouring herself a cup of coffee, taking off her coat and folding it over the chair. Thinking about what Nisa had told her. Was every floor in Aincrad a different name for her. Dunbarton was the town of beginnings, there was a hundred floors. Taking a sip of the still warm caffeine, the more she though about it the more questions she had. Shaking her head, Freya didn't want to know everything everyone else did, just the simple things. Deciding right there that she was going to go about this a different way.

The hour was up, glancing inside the money bag. There was plenty in there, scooting the kids back into the bathroom. Leaving her coat behind, pulling out those wings. Closing her eyes, thinking about the town of beginnings, the fountain in the middle of town and the familiar building and shops that lay around it. Freya crushes the wax wings in her hand and when she opens her eyes she is standing by the fountain. Glancing around finding Nisahime in her striking red attire standing next to one of the shops. Making her way that way, "I apologized to that shop keeper. Seemed very friendly." Face turns a bit red remembering how she acted. "I was sort wondering if you would allow me to get to know you. Not all that goddy stuff, like the real you. Thought maybe we could try to be friends?" Asking in a questioning remark toward the woman.

Nisa Alchemist.pngIn an hours time, Nisa would walk through the town of beginnings wearing an appearance that had not been in this place for quite some time. Even moreover she had to get familiar with the subtle differences that built up to major ones over such a long stint. A lot of the locations were different and the city was much larger. Ironically it would be the clock tower that still stood that would cement her sense of direction. Scanning the stalls and trading bits of coin that she'd managed to scrounge together from different places. One being a ruined tower, others being in the depths of a sewer. Although such things were typically beneath her, she picked them up solely out of an old habit that would be near impossible to break. She just missed Kochi, which would make gathering them up so much easier. All of her little aids were now lost somewhere within this realm and she'd have to slowly rebuild them all. But this was what she was more then persistent enough to do.

Into her bag, she'd pull out the not functioning plushie. A stitched doll about the size of a house cat, lifeless with short bright pink hair. "Need some platinum thread, and some ancient magic powder." she'd remark beneath her breath while clutching the tiny stump acting as its left arm with an index and thumb, making it wave hello. This was where she'd start to peruse the stalls on her own looking for exactly that, but would come up extremely and completely empty. It would be like she was speaking an entirely different language to these people. Because she basically was. "Like usual, I have to do everything myself. I need to get a dry oven and a steam oven online somewhere. but where do I put it where these idiots wont hurt themselves?"

That thought is broken as Freya would clamber up out of the woodwork, showing that Nisa had lost track of time completely. Ironic given her job description. "Good, at least now your treating them as an existing thing. Yes they may not be human like you are but that doesn't mean they don't have feelings or dreams. To answer your prior question, they are fomorians. Just like a part of Tuatha is. The part that isn't Kurayama." she'd turn the doll toward the woman and wave its little arm to greet her. "If you want to be friends, sure. But don't expect special treatment as a result of that friendship."

A flash of silver will see her appearance change again, this one a bit more 'scholarly' in its approximation. Nisa would look down upon her red pencil skirt and adjust her square rimmed glasses "I want my dry oven." As the outfit was a blatant reminder. "Now we need to find the following ingredients: Write them down or memorize them, because I will not be repeating myself." Giving Freya a moment of pause to do just that before continuing as she'd manifest a tiny instructing pointer.

"
- 8 oz. of Water
- 5 bushels of wheat
- 2 oz. of Yeast
- 4 oz. of Black Tea Leaves
- A jar of honey
"

Tapping the rod in her right hand against her left. "Got all that? The first lesson of a good chef is knowing good ingredients. Quality over quantity. You may have unlimited pastries falling out of that bag of yours, but none are going to be as good as if you bake them yourself."

They were Tuatha's people? Freya never really liked history class but this she could get behind. From now on these people, no fomorians would be treated by the up most respect. That is what she could do for Tuatha for saving her life. Agreeing to be a friend, this puts a smile on her face. Seeing the woman switch form again, that was never going to get old. "God you look like my 11th grade history teachers, the hair is a bit different though," spitted out without a thought. Pulling out the list that she had made earlier, folding the paper in half and picking out a pen. Writing down everything word by word, number by number so that she didn't forget.

- 8 oz. of Water
- 5 bushels of wheat
- 2 oz. of Yeast
- 4 oz. of Black Tea Leaves
- A jar of honey

"Quality over quantity," saying as she writes that down too. Looking to the ingredients more carefully now that it was written out, "There is a small wheat field just outside Dunbartan..." it was so weird to say, thought that she would give it a try. Finishing her previous statement, "That we can pull from. It will be fresher that way. I noticed the wheat sold in town is a bit too dry." Reading the rest of the stuff, "I'm pretty sure only two shops are needed here. The tea leaves and honey will be in the shop a few houses to the north and the yeast should be in the bakery just east from here. Water you can get just about anywhere," saying as she starts walking toward the shop with the tea.

Approaching the building, it was a bit worn down. Smaller than the other houses around it, dark brown wood work. The roof hung down making easy cover from the rain. The door was painted dark red with two long windows on either side meeting the buildings end with an inch to spare. Freya walks in with a dinging sound above the door way. The interior smelled of a whole smattering of herbs but the most pungent one was mint. Shelves lining the walls with jars of unknown content. "Penny, you here," calling out. Moments later a young girl with red curly haired pig tails that dangles just past her shoulders appears. Couldn't be more than 12 years old and 5 feet in height. Penny comes out from behind the back wall. "FREYA, how is my favorite customer," saying in pure excitement. "I am very good," looking back to Nisa who was standing in the door way. "Do you need the Breakfast Brew leaves again. Has Gaius been drinking a lot of tea." That got a small laugh from Freya. "Yea, I'll get that but I also need 4 oz. of Black Tea Leaves and a jar of honey if you have it." Nodding her head a bit to fast as she rushes to the back again. "I only have 1 oz bags of those leaves, do you want four of them," calling out from behind the wall. "Yes please," calling back as the girl is walking back to the counter setting everything on the table. "Do you want to look around Nisa?" Glancing back toward the woman as she pulls the col out her pouch and places it on the counter and putting the stuff in her satchel.

"11th grade, huh?" the girl would respond in an equal jarring twist on the phrase. She didn't pay that much attention to the going on to understand a whole 'grading system'. Freya continued to scrawl down, and Nisa would offer her the moment to actually jot it all down. "Got it? Good." Nisa would listen on as the blonde would begin to list out sources for the various ingredients. "You can call it the Town of Beginnings, theoretically that name is more correct now. Even though its weird to me. I understand as much. Also no, I don't think the wheat fields around here are going to be robust enough. Instead we are going to floor 7. Deepedge as its called now. Those fields are probably older then you are. The barley and wheat should be very mature and well kept. After all, it has fulfilled many a part time job."

Speaking as they were walking, Freya was first in to the shop and Nisa would start to check the walls and scan the shelves. All manner of wears and but none of them labeled. Nisa had dealt with these sorts before. Clipping into the conversation as the keeper and Freya would converse. "Well you get what you paid for. Nope, I'm good." the crimson eyed girl would leave the store with a ring of the bell. Once the blonde was within earshot, Nisa would immediately start to speak up. "Third, know your ingredients. That store is a business, and its goal is too sell. However, from what I can tell." She'd push her hand into Freya's satchel and put it in her palms. "How long has that been on the shelf? Where did it come from? What flowers were nearby?" A shake of her head in a disagreement of her lack of dignity.

"None of those facts were labeled, a quick fix will not be a perfect one. Come with me." The white haired broad would take the lead, moving down the streets and peering around the stalls. The smallest little structure, barely a foot across. On its top, jars of honey. "Boy." She'd sharply strike up a conversation, causing the player who was manning it to point to his own face "Me?" To which the girl would pay him a nod. "Judah." the girl would lean down and pluck up this sticky mess of a jar that looked haphazardly slapped together and dripping. "Judah, your selling honey?" The kid scratches the back of his black hair, almost sheepishly as her forthright behavior was making him uncomfortable. He'd nod as he'd begin to blush

"And where is it from?" He'd look to Freya as if pleading for an intervention as this line of questioning was getting a little too much to bear. "Did I stutter? what are you looking at her for. Where is it from?" Nisa remarks shoving the jar into his line of sight so he'd stop trying to avoid answering. "Uh Floor 20." Nisahime would slap her hand against her forehead getting annoyed by all the beating around the bush. Somewhere humanity had become thicker then stones. "In particular, not some vague dumb retelling." The boy starts to get a little flustered thinking this was more trouble then it was worth. "Look if yo-" Nisa reaches out and grabs his tongue without a lick of care. "The next words out of your gullet better be where its from, do you understand me? Hold up two fingers for yes and one for no." The boy would hurriedly lift up two fingers and have his mouth released, horrified that the player could do such a thing in a safezone. "Floor 22, Sunlight forest."

"Was that so hard? sheesh. I'll take these 5. But I am paying you for 4. For wasting my time." Nisa looks to Freya with mild annoyance starting to fade from her expression. "Pay the boy. and get your honey. Need more then one just in case you mess up the first couple batches." and as she wanders past Freya she wipes some honey on her shoulder.

WOW this woman was harsh, but accurate. Freya thinks that she was starting to get it now. To be the best, you had to have the most fresh. Freya hadn't explored the floors like Sam and Raidou had. She had always bought the apparent crap ingredients. If this stuff was being purchased out in the real world they would likely be rotten or worse. Making a face at the thought but taking the Honey and replacing it with gold, bowing small and catching up to Nisa. There was likely some resemblance on records in the guild hall, Freya just never bothered to look. The next stop would seem to be deepedge, not recalling that she'd ever walked that floor but she was sure that it would be simple to find the wheat in the fields. "We will head to floor 7 then. Will gather the bundles and head to the guild hall. There I will figure out where to get the other stuff needed," letting the woman know what was being done. Nisa seemed to be following, watching and was sure that she would say something if Freya fucked up again. She was actually counting on it. Freya was here to learn, it would be rough but she would do what ever it took.

Arriving at Deepedge on floor 7, the winds blew against her fragmented skin causing a bit of a chill down her spine. Regretting now that she had left her coat at home. It was fine though, she would grab what was needed and be out of here in no time. The buildings seemed to be made of some sort of sand stone maybe? They towered over, it was a decently large village. Making he way out of the walls, the grass looked a bit rough and brown. The fields on wheat and barley would be almost immediately found though. They were pretty large too, wondering it these towns folk were founded for sell this stuff. Heading into the wheat area, she would find other workers using some sort of tool, it almost looked like a mini scythe. Knowing that maybe she would need to purchase one of them if they were available later if she ever intended on doing this again. Watching them for a moment to see how it was done, was sure that it was easy but Freya would most definitely find a way to fuck it up some how. "Excuse me sir," standing up to find a lizard looking fella who just twist there head slightly to Freya's words. "Can I borrow that tool, I will bring it back." They start to hand it to her with a confused look painted on there face. "I will be in line of sight and won't leave till I have returned it to you, here sign of good faith," Freya pulls out a few pieces of col. They nod and trade with the woman.

Taking a deep breath as a few paces from the villager was had. Getting down on her knees as starts to hack at the plants. Every one that she had tried either crumbled in her hands or burst upon cutting. "The hell am I doing wrong this time," this was nothing like fishing. Final attempt, Freya manages to cut very slowly, taking her time. It comes out whole, eyes excited. There was only one thing though that made her frown. There was about 9 more to be gathered, just in case the craft goes wrong. "1 down... 9 to go..." saying in disarray trying her best to get more.

Untitled design (8).pngFollowing the girl through the more player defined routes, not used to the shift in tempo. It was almost painfully slow to travel like this, but Nisa would oblige her way of doing things for now. The familiar farmlands met with a windmill that spun lightly on the coming wind. The barley and wheat being folded as the wind would blow. A sharp inhale and exhale from Nisa would remind her so gracefully where her journey began all that time ago. A mid day sun, the bleating of sheep. "Wonder if Duncan is still around here somewhere..." She'd murmur beneath her breath, recalling the memory where not many would pay her the time of day yet that man did.

A flash of silver light would see her attire change, one that she sported during times of peace. When more tranquil practices would occur, either being trade routes or simple grunt work. As if on autopilot, she'd meander out into the fields of golden brown. Trained hands upon dried stocks, snaps as she'd trace fingers to the root from the bundle and collect those worth taking. Within minutes, before a conversation between Freya and the villager would even occur she'd have a mountain of the stuff. Wiping her right arm against her forehead, she'd collect her yield and look off wistfully.

"Hikko..." Folding her arms, knowing she'd not find her dimensional broom any time soon to sweep this away for safe keeping. "Right!" she'd chirp as she'd spot the blonde hair peaking out over the stocks. "I got a little carried away, here." Piling a nice drove of 19 into the girls hands, completing a fully ripe and ready batch ready to be traded in for a reward. Yet such rewards no longer exist, and those involved were lost to time. "We need to grind it down." Tilting her head in a jerk toward the windmill cresting the hill, it would need ground up into a white powder before it could be used.

Damn that woman was fast, gathered so much before she could grasp one. Reminded her of Raidou except on crack. Her clothing too, it seemed to change every time something else was being done. Walking to the windmill that was mentioned with her hands now full of the wheat bundles, sure that she was going to make a fool of herself once more and Nisa would tell her a million reasons why it was wrong. This other world of hers, there was a certain specific way that she did everything and for good reason. It was torture now, but later it would be of second nature and then Freya would be thankful for all the lectures that this woman gave her.

Arriving at the windmill, staring at it blankly. Never seen anything like it, let alone used something even resembling it. An oven and a knife, maybe a blender but this was something entirely new. Readjusting the ingredients in her hands so that that she could tuck them under her arm, looking up then down at the object trying to get a feel for how it worked. Nothing of note, so Freya starts to go around the machine, still not a single clue of to how it could function. Coming around to the other side and jumping a foot back when she finds a young woman that was not Nisa standing there watching her curiously. "What in the world are you doing miss?" Clearing her throat, wondering how Freya didn't notice her before. The girl had orange hair with a tan cloth hat upon her head. A green shirt that could be seen under the tan apron being worn. Red eyes shown in those irises of hers. "I am looking to get this thing working so that I can blend these down," gesturing down under her arms. "Nisa where in gods name did you find this girl?" Looking at Freya like she was stupid.

Taking the wheat from Freya's arms, putting the bundles in a hole and pressing a button. "I don't do this free, I have to earn my keep around here somehow," Holding out a hand to the blond bending her fingers back and forth as a gimmy gesture. Pulling out a small bag of col worth 50, "More that that, fresh flour doesn't grow on trees you know," Freya pulls out 50 more col and sets it in the bag handing it off to the girl. Yanking the bag from Freya's hands, "It will take a moment so sit tight," turning away from them. Freya didn't know how to act, she seemed to know Nisa. "So uh Nisahime, do you have different clothing for every task that you do," Freya would ask the woman.

Untitled design (11).pngKept to the girls heels, Nisa would look on as Freya would share some words with Alissa. Seemed despite the changes that this girl had somehow remained. As Freya would again turn to handing coin and letting others do her work for her, Nisa couldn't help but sigh in an exhaustive irritation. "Your never going to learn anything unless... Alissa!" Nisa would bark up into the rafters, causing the girl to pause. "She is going to do it, these damn people have forgotten how to do any sort of honest work I swear." Causing the NPC red head to stair back with a smile, as if she was waiting for it.

"Come on, up the ladder." Pointing toward it. "Go, I'll tag along and show you how it works." Starting up the ladder rung by rung, they'd both see themselves into the upper floor. The spinning wheel outside attached to a rod that came in and connected to center pillar. Beneath it a large hunk of stone that spun through a set of carefully placed gears. "I'll take those, keep the hopper open." Nisa offers to Alissa who would seek the ladder and begin to head down. "Its quite simple, put the wheat in here." Gesturing toward a large open square chute, and dropping a couple of bushels into it. "Then, you go to these two levers." Grabbing onto the one on the left, as Freya would put the rest in.

A hearty tug sees the chute close up, as the lever comes back toward her. "Now the second..." Nisa grabs the second with both hands and pulls hard, hearing some clank inside the center shaft and transitioning into a stable grinding noise. "Now we head back down and get a bag ready, there will be a receptacle it will be collecting at the bottom. Sometimes I wonder how you survived this long." Nisa would be the first down, looking for an empty linen sack to hand the blonde once she would descend after her.

Watching Nishime's every movement and how to do this. Taking the bag from the woman's grasp after being shown where to place it. Without looking to her, "Morrighan I envy you but you also confuse the hell out of me," setting the open bag in a small hole as wheat specks start to drop down the grinding tunnel. Watching those pieces falling into place as her chest starts to get heavy. "You speak of hard set labor and us being lazy," pulling the bag as it fills to place another empty in its place. "To be honest you are right. Most people have forgotten what the real world is like." Pulling out a Honey Roll from her bag and staring at it. "Kayaba designed this game to be as simple as possible so that the children and humans here wouldn't want to do the work to get back home." Tearing the bun slowly to suggest that the outside world was falling apart. "So yes," throwing the roll on the ground and stomping on it, "We have become lazy because Kayaba has made a better, a simpler world than the real one in most eyes." Gathering another full bag planting another empty. Thinking that Nisa might interoperate that wrong she rephrases, "From my knowledge people have come to this world to get away from their own problems thus making the easy choice not to work for escaping. If the game is not beat then they can stay here. Players have stopped trying for that reason." Taking a deep breath now, a bit of anger followed by her eyes beginning to water.

Replacing the full bag again, silence fell for a few minutes while the bags finished. Collected the flour bags now and setting them in her satchel. "This is the reason why," turning to the woman now "Why I change my clothes without the swipe of a fragmented screen. Why I sit on a toilet in the bathroom knowing that that sort of action doesn't exist here." Giving the girl a small bow before starting to walk, "When I started cooking here I tried to use the mechanics that were given to use but it just felt wrong so I started doing everything manually." Freya started throwing those Honey Roll on the ground as she walked creating a trail behind her. "I miss the fuck out of our world and people don't seem to care, it pisses me off. By the way we are heading to the Firm Anima Guild Hall on Floor 23 near the Forest of Memories. The others should be gone. Research will be on the table from Raidou where to gather the best quality of the other ingredients."
