Freya was more then capable of finishing her studies, and motions would carry the white haired woman back to her own pale reflection. It was how the game saw her, not how she would view herself. Moreover her circumventing of the games restrictions and the undermining of the over watch that would forbid her to act had been making movement. She knew what she had to do, and the assistant in that escapade was the blonde. Mimicking her behavior, her mindset and her restrictions would fool the system into believing she was a player. The proof was shown in her recent encounter with Lugh, how he seemed to actually take note of her and attempted to attack her. It seems that fact was lost on those that accompanied her that day. The nomad had taken on this task numerous times so far and there was likely more to come. From what he had managed to piece together, this place seems like a waypoint to which the woman in white could breach through into unknown locations. That was her strange fixation with this place in particular, now as to why that this was the case Raidou would assume that she'd never share it with him. The woman was a steel trap, unwilling to share beyond the bare minimum. A fact that he'd share readily with her, need to know information could be troublesome with loose lips. To her side he'd look out into the water, reflecting her inner reflection. The glare upon his glasses would shield his eyes from view. The blossom takes to tightening the wraps around her arms, checking twice the ones that held her sandals in place. This was likely to get ugly rather quickly, so it was best to be as prepared as she could be. Her cousin and the others started out across the beach and all of them were primed and ready to tussle. After all this had become almost second nature, a routine that they'd start to share on the regular. Following behind their aloof guide and moving on to god knows where. Despite the danger they would unknowingly be diving head first in, the group found solace in one another. This includes Kasumi who would share a smile before cutting the distance with a few hurried footfalls. This had become nearly a habit, and she knew what they would come to face. That damn crab, again for the umpteenth time. The cardinal system would never fail to provide the nuisance to slow them down, and the woman clearly needed this exact spot for her little travels. That left whatever group that chose to check on her that day to deal with the freshly spawned Sand's claw, who within the next few minutes would be off timer. Looking to the corner of her HUD, Simmone was almost counting the seconds down until he'd bust out of the sand and start being obnoxious again. As she'd peruse her HUD, she can't help but notice the three standing at the waters edge. This is where it clicks, looking at the back of Kasumi and the woman. A heavy yawn as she'd gander at the others, before turning to look to Simmone playing with her hair pony. "You think its crab again, dontcha?" Shiina remarked in her typical quirky tone, tilting her head toward her right shoulder. Simmone would offer a simple nod, causing Shiina to snicker. "Yep, your probably right. But thats because he's conveniently right in the way. Weird aint it?" The songstress would smile and wear an expression as if she'd just dug into the cookie jar. Super guilty. "Whatever man, he going to die like all the other ones. Then we can bounce into the hole that hot momma pops out of the beach like a pimple." She'd meander closer to Simmone and Shiina, the latter she'd only been around in proximity but never addressing directly. "Huh, weird they all almost look alike." Celeste remarks putting the others thoughts into words, and it was about as subtle as a bull in a china shop. "It needs to be handled, otherwise it will prevent my exit." She'd offer those that stood near her upon the waters edge. "I do not want our overseer to know what I have planned, and I am convinced there are a number of bells in place to ring if anything is amiss. That is why I welcome your intrusion so readily. You can at least make yourselves useful." She'd not elude to the deeper facts of the matter, or dig in deeper as to what her plan fully entailed. Hell at the end of the day, the only two people who knew more then most was the blonde and the whisper. That was due to the fact they were not as intrusive as the others had been, and were more ready to take things for what they were. A cloud of obscurity that worked to shield its massive crab stature from view for only a moment, like a missile hitting a beachfront. "That's our queue homies." Shiina would hop up and tap Simmone's left butt cheek twice for good measure. "Go get um, doll. I got your six." The girl would goad as she'd offer a smile, turning that hand around as she'd slink past. Once she closed the gap enough to be within ten or so feet of their foe, she'd begin to sing. Waves of energy in the form of vibrations echo out from her, causing the sand to pulse in rings much like a droplet into a puddle. Soon after, a symbol in red would claim the space around her in an equal radius. As that sound would play and the ring was drawn, players would see their weapons flare in color. Locking eyes to the complex of shell known as Sand's Claw, the emerald green color of its thickened hide. Kasumi 0 Posted October 10 #10 Share Posted October 10 Raising from her kneeled position, Kasumi would lock eyes with Raidou before advancing her gaze upon Nisahime. A nod would be paid to the both of them, as the crab would see itself free from its deep enclosure. Kasumi claps both hands to clear her sand, a wave of her hand over her right shoulder will see her hair moved out of her way. Jerking back into position, her hands will then start to shine in vibrant pink. Like lit candles they trace through the air as she readjusts her stance, bringing the right to become docked on her hip and her left to hover off a 90 decree elbow matching the height of her left shoulder. Once locked into position, she'd twist her torso and within seconds she blinds past the other two and drops a steeled heel into the walking tank. Fragments of its outer armor become a fleeting spray of shrapnel that are quickly stolen away by the cardinal system. Celeste 1 Posted October 10 #11 Share Posted October 10 The red head will spring into action to cut away her anticipation. Each footfall leaving a sudden scattering of sand as she starts to blaze a path toward the newly spawned entity. A twist of her body to her left would see the cleaver resting on her shoulder ripped from right to left across the creature just beneath Kasumi, catching its left most leg and sending it to capsize and start to tumble. With that swing a trail of cobalt blue flames trail behind it, licking angrily at the now compromised flesh of the foe. The white flesh beneath its armor would begin to sear and honestly smell absolutely divine. Like a well roasted meal, some of the more food motivated types would easily be stuck in a stupor. Celeste carries through the blow in a heavy sweep that would cause her to turn in a full three quarters circle before she'd start to rush to her right. Raidou 1 Posted October 10 #12 Share Posted October 10 Roaring into combat like a bat out of hell, Raidou leaves Nisahime standing where she resides. Within mere moments the man would draw his blade and raise it to the heavens, calling the storm down upon his steel. Seconds later its dropped like a hammer into an awaiting victim and bounces between four legs like a lightning rod. The thing would jerk violently and start to fumble and fall rather abruptly. A flourish once the swing is completed, his robe stirring angrily as a result. The man redirects his posture, twirling his blade as he'd move more toward the flat of his feet. The crab flips out stuck in a stupor, trying to pull itself back to its feet as its arms and legs just don't seem to cooperate at all. What follows is the thing clambering limply toward its surroundings looking for something to clutch on to. To no prevail. The thing could barely stand at all, let alone turn to face the group. They were becoming rather proficient in their slaughtering of this insistent nuisance. "You think he felt that one?" The woman would goad from her place upon the shore, counting down the seconds once those prying eyes would finally be removed from the playing field. The soft crunch of sand as she'd start to trace the fault lines, looking for a place where she could breach into the realms below. Where she sought out this time? Where the spark of divinity first occurred, curious if she could find any of her lingering energy there to begin to curb the existence of Elsinore directly from the source at which it was born. But this would mean taking this rabble into the depths of the Abyss and exiting unscathed.... Celeste 1 Posted October 10 #14 Share Posted October 10 Standard Recovery +4 EN, Horn of Battle +2 EN Rushing around the creatures right side as Raidou would cause it to capsize, Celeste screams out as her weapon would vibrate in an angry streak of crimson. A pop of blue flame traces its way down the blade, and with one heavy and ruthless drive of it down would see it sink deep through a carapace. Like a hot knife through seafood butter, it slices clean as if there is little resistance. About half way down into the creatures thorax before it would come to a stop, the momentum finally coming to an end. Its here that the barbaric woman would clutch tightly to the cleavers handle and rip it out towards her, causing the flesh to tear away in sections. Exposed flesh and brutalized health, Celeste retracts and builds a few steps from her opponent, as to prevent herself from receiving some sort of retaliation. A twist of that crimson letter of hers will see it docked back on her right shoulder. Her party starts to scatter around their foe and she'd finally let the sword art she had primed fire. It digs in clean to an opening created by Celeste, driving the thin blade up to the handle into its upper half. It pierces just between the eyes and with precision that seems to catch something rather important. The creature curls in refusal but rather quickly its strength to resist fades, causing arms that clamber up to quickly flop to the sand with a heavy thud. *pbth* they land on both sides of the woman, who uses a foot to dislodge her rapier and slide it out like a needle out of a vein. A click of her right hand sees it turn into a virulent toxin, turning black and starting to cause rapid decay. The beast's HP plummets rather sharply, leaving the creature it was attached to to shatter like a broken mirror. the small fractals of glass like data catching sunlight glimmer in blue pieces, flickering harmlessly in the air like festivities. With that Simmone would look to her team who was staring back at her, now it was time to cordon off the area. A final wrap of this as to have the beach to themselves and more importantly their regular tour guide. Adjusting the wraps around her right hand, she'd start to trace the instep of the beach and look for any prying eyes that would be seeking out a space to regrow into a much larger entity. The soft footfalls of the girl would offer the lowest of crunches as her sandals dig in a small amount with every step. Her hand moves to the space just above her eyes, on her forehead acting like the bill of a baseball cap. Her inspection however would seemingly come up empty, to which she finds herself looking back to her party "Nothing over here so far." the girl would offer before continuing to trace a path along the tree line. Raidou 1 Posted October 10 #17 Share Posted October 10 Standard Recovery +4 EN, Horn of Battle +2 EN, Recovery | 235214, CD: 11 (+8 EN), Charge CD {2/3} The nomad would look to his cousin and offer her a gentle nod, adjusting the lenses sitting on his nose. A weapon in his hands would turn and find itself behind his right shoulder. Offered to a scabbard that sat eagerly awaiting for its usage on his back. It quickly finds itself hidden in his robe, as the man would start to take a center stroll down the length of the beach. Eyes peeled, he'd catch the smallest rustle of sand. A whistle and a point toward the space, Raidou would start to slowly approach the small space in the center. It was likely to be more much smaller shellfish, that would quickly scatter once they knew they had been discovered. Raidou wasn't exactly the most well concealed, and despite his armor weight he still wasn't one to sneak around neither. His stroll was slow and meticulous, and within a foot or two he was ready to draw. His hand hovering a handle, his perceptions once again proving ever useful. Standing next to the man, she'd contemplate how best to subtly approach this small army. A wave of energy rings from her as she just steps on the spot that was trembling. The ground begins to vibrate and causes the creatures to come out like earthworms, as Shiina would bestow her blessing on Celeste. The red head would see her yellow stamina bar turn a vibrant blue, denoting that Shiina was adding some effect to it with a ring. The girl clutches the players bar with her finger, and adjusts its capacity like turning up the volume on it. As she does, the tiny crabs bust out of the sand knowing they had been discovered, starting to click and snap at her feet in the most aggressive fashion they could muster. "That tickles." the girl wiggles and giggles as she accidently steps on one, crushing it flat with a crunch like a potato chip. "Problems?" the woman would ask the girl in the first real address she'd ever really paid her, before stomping on one of the little bastards. It explodes into a land mine of data, sending a small puff of sand into a cloud. The others would immediately start to scatter like cockroaches, causing the red head to grimace. "That's right you better run." The woman goads feeling so much more powerful and slightly enjoying the superiority she held over them. Scampering out on tiny spider like legs, that could barely clear a few inches every second. Celeste starts to cobble along like giant, taking extremely pronounced and clearly intended to spook footfalls toward a couple. She clearly didn't take Simmone's prior lessons to heart. Instead she took to playing with them. "Still stuck on this?" the woman would ask of the red head, snapping her back to reality as she'd draw her attention away from the tiny little wave of critters. A twist of her wrist will see her grasp on her rapier become much more stiff, and a flash of purple streaks down its length. This would transition into a swift swipe in a sharp streak of violet, causing the crabs to scatter in the air like a handful of leaves. Bits and pieces fall away as their corporeal forms start to become less consistent. This is followed by small flashes of blue, as they seem to explode the moment they touch the sand again. After the fourth a ping and the borders of her map shift, removing the red outline that denotes combat. "I understand that it might be fun, but we have a schedule to keep." Simmone offers Celeste as she'd slink away, having ruined her game but for good reason.
