[PP-PT-F01] Finally Learning The Game | <<The First Few Lessons>>

"Ughhhhhh." Eve groaned as she rolled herself out of bed. An alarm was beeping in her head,  a feature designed specifically for players who planned to sleep inside the game. For Eve though, it was an everyday annoyance. "Turn off damnit!" For the system, that was enough. She was thankful for the few voice commands she had found, as she had yet to master the hand gestures.

Games were not her recreation of choice. That would be her twin sister, Odette, or as she was known here, Knightmare. Eve on the other hand, with no experience with MMOs went with a much more blatant name, KnightinGale. It was essentially her last name but with a leading 'K'. Without access to the usual interface that most players would make use of for mundane tasks like changing clothes and storing items, KnightinGale had to do things the old fashioned way. She kept her armor scattered around her tiny motel room on Floor 1. It was the same place all the other low level players who couldn't afford to move out, or just flat out didn't want to, lived. To her though it was a nice little break from the fantasy world outside. This little safe haven, the tattoos she had personally commissioned, and the commissioned clothing gave her a sense of normalcy.

"I hate how uncomfortable this shit is," Eve complained as she donned the cold armor. "Another day of necessary sacrifices I guess." With a heavy sigh she exited her motel room and set out into the Town of Beginnings. I've got to figure this shit out if I want to have any chance of saving Lil' Odie.
