Background

Born and raised in a military family. At 18 years old, oppose to her dad's wish for her to follow his footsteps and join the Air Force, she enlisted in the Marines instead. She'd rather to trust her head and feet instead of relying on technology. Promoted to the Corporal rank before she was assigned to Japan. Unfortunately for her, few months into living in Japan she received a letter from her husband of two years. She heard a term floating in the military bases everywhere- "Dear Jane letter". She'd never thought she was the one receiving it. Words written in the letter stabbed her in the heart, not once, but repeatedly. Apparently, her husband started emotionally cheated on her with a co-worker, then it eventually became an affair. Her bunkmate is a nerd and crazed about MMO games. The roommate, Ellie, wouldn't shut up about upcoming so-called "Sword Art Online". Ellie even got it at the midnight release. Although it is unusual of Ellie to be quite busy to start up the new game. Out of depression, curiosity, and desperate to escape the reality, she snuck to put on the NerveGear. Thought it wouldn't hurt to take a peek then bail out and delete her character without Ellie knowing...
