"I just want to help"

-- Aiomi, after the opening announcement.

HISTORY

In the Town of Beginnings

Aiomi was WAY too excited about the new full immersion technology, she had waited in line for over six hours on launch day, cheerfully chatting with her college friends while they planned out how they would all meet up and rush ahead. Aiomi of course was going to be their healer. She'd found her role in their group over the two years since they became roommates at U of O. Plus they had this idea that with a well rounded party they'd be able to join up with a guild pretty easily. Joshua was going to be their Tank, Erica was their leader and going for a mage build, Jalen would be a ranger or rogue and Zach was planning to take a long-sword fighter build. That was the plan at least.

Unfortunately, on their very first day in full dive Joshua and Erica got shattered into motes of light when they pulled a higher leveled monster at the edge of the plains around the Town of Beginnings. Down a tank and one of their DPS companions, Aiomi, Jalen and Zach headed back to town, complaining about Joshua and Erica dropping out of the party after they were 'killed'. The idea was they'd figure out where the respawn was and reform the party. Unfortunately when they got back to town they wandered for over an hour and couldn't find their friends anywhere. It was then that the first system announcement was initiated, and the Game Master announced that their friends were actually dead.

This of course shocked Aiomi, but Jalen and Zach had even stronger reactions, they became lumps on a log, unresponsive so to speak. With the realization that this was a death game, she couldn't convince them to leave the starter town after that. Now Aiomi is looking for potential companions to sign up with. She was terrified to lose her friends and swore to become just as good a healer in this game as she had in the past. With that goal in mind, she set out to find a party that would see the value in a healer that could grant them a second lease on life when it became necessary.

The Lower Floors

VIRTUES&FLAWS

Caring - She really just wants to help and make friends with everyone. This can lead to a few exploitable moments particularly if someone doesn’t portray themselves as hostile initially. (I’m totally planning to have this cause issues for her in the future!)

Enthusiastic - She’s not quite as eager as a golden retriever, but if someone proposes a plan that’s even remotely viable, they can count on Aiomi lining up to help out to the best of her ability. For example delving into a new area with a full party that might be lacking one or two elements of success? She'd be willing to come along.

Loyal - She’s an open book, if she likes you and you are a friend to her, she will take a bullet for you. This also means that she can sometimes be a bit foolish when her friends ask her to do silly things. Aiomi will totally give it a try if there's a reasonable chance of success or amusement. Aiomi will take everything you say at face value, until and unless you do something to make her realize you aren’t trustworthy at least.

Anxious - With self consciousness and analysis comes the realization that she doesn’t know everything, and the idea that her mistakes can kill her friends, this leads Aiomi to biting her fingernails whenever she messes up, or even thinks she messed up. Aiomi is probably her own worst enemy. She is good at seeing the good in others but doesn’t give herself nearly the level of credit she probably should.

Distractible - Something pretty? Someone new to make friends with? Yah, better bet she’s going to explore and go say hi cheerfully! Also, books and artwork draw her like a bird to a flower. She is quiet curious and this can lead to her getting a little side tracked.

Gullible - Fool me once shame on you. Aiomi is trick-able, the first time. After that she doesn’t really trust the person that tricked her and re earning her trust is pretty difficult.
