Appearance: usually wears red or a red-black combination. His hair is usually on the longer side. He has a scar that goes from his left temple to the middle of his cheek. 

History before coming into the game:

Zandig was born in Italy but his family moved to Japan when he was three years old. His father was a successfull software developed that was poached into one of the tech giants of the East. He can fluently speak three languages event hough he still has some problems with English. Speaking three languages from three different backgrounds is not easy you see.

His father worked long hours and his mother gave her all to raise him and he was always taught to gave it his all. He tried, he really tried. He never understood why the Japanese love baseball so much but football, that was something he could enjoy playing with his fellow classmates. A few bad apples did bully him relentleslly for being a gaijin. But the bullying stopped once he grew up and started towering over them. That's where his protective nature slowly develop as the bullies turned towards his friends and someone had to protect them, who else than Zandig?

Protecting the ones you care about comes at a price and he almost lost an eye because of his stubborness. It happened when he was 17 in high school. Three kids from another district were trying to start some trouble around his school and Zandig and two classmates decided to put an end to it. They confronted the bad apples but it soon turned sour as bottles began to fly towards the direction of our heroes. Zandig ducked and just charged forward as he always did. Two of the shit-talkers were soon eating dust after a few well placed punches but then he felt warm liquid ooze down the side of his face. The last remaining villain sliced Zandig from his left temple almost down to his lip. He didn't remember much after that, besides being stitched up by the school nurse. The onlooker said he took care of the last one in a calm but vicious manner, taking his knife away before stomping his head into the ground. He didn't remember much but the legend of that day only grew. 

After high school and university Lorenzo quickly joined his fathers company as a backend developer but he never stopped caring and helping others. He was saddened when he couldn't get his hands on the beta invite for Sword Art Online, but he spent two days in a queue just to get his hand on a copy for the release! He got one, took two days off from work and finally put the NetGear on his head. 

 

Virtues:

Spoiler

 - Caring - Zandig puts the needs of other before him. Being an only child but raised to help others he often forgets about his needs to put the needs of others forth. The scar he proudly wears on his face is just a medal to show others he is not afraid to earn another one like that. 

- Faithful - When he makes friends he makes them for life and he would go through hell for them. Because friendship can save you in life and in Aincard. If he does finds friends he can be loyal to maybe they will be loyal to him too. 

- Observant - He is quick to act but he is always watching his surroundings so that he can react to them quickly. Zandig doesn’t want to be surprised so he always knows where is the way in, where is the way out and innate details of situations. At first it was just a game he played with himself but it proved useful as he grew up. 

 

Flaws:

- Stubborness - Zandig is usually unyielding in his own ways. Once an idea sets in his mind and he thinks it's a good idea it's his way or the highway. He is determined to see his way through

- Addicted - He is addicted to nicotine and he will need to find a substitute in the world of Aincrad. His sin are cigarettes but if he doesn’t find his vice maybe he will find another? A person, a hobby… something to fill his cravings.  

- Fiery - his temper is red hot just as his clothes. He gets hot quickly and needs a while to calm down. If someone pisses him off they will hear it and feel it. With his others flaws and virtues this makes for an explosive combination of an unmoving rock that won’t budge.
