» About: Of an average height and slender build, with pale gray eyes and studious features, Caelam's appearance paints the picture of a solemn introvert with little regard for those around him. Intelligent but supremely unmotivated, Canaan spent any free time he had engrossed in whatever game he could get his hands on. When one of his few friends introduced him to Sword Art Online it was love at first sight. He saw it as a way to explore and make connections in a world far more interesting than the one he felt trapped in. Little did he know he was about to trade one prison for another.

» Virtues:

Intellect. Caelam's quick-thinking and constant awareness of his surroundings has saved him on more than one occasion. Often he's found to be more than a few steps ahead of his peers, exhibiting a perception and understanding of situations rarely matched.

Relentless. 'Surrender' never made it into Caelam's vocabulary. Even outmatched he will fight to the very end, ever aware that to perish in-game is to perish in real life.

Silver Tongue. Ultimately a pretender, Caelam still finds it easy to fake an easy going nature and a conversational attitude. Getting along with just about anyone is child's play, but under stress or when angered it isn't uncommon for cracks to appear in his facade.

» Flaws:

Sociopath. while rather good at faking it, Caelam has only basic, rudimentary emotions and is incapable of forming complex connections or exhibiting empathy.

Selfish. No matter what, Caelam will always be most concerned with looking out for Caelam. While he'll rarely go out of his way to benefit from another's misfortune, the idea of self sacrifice strikes him as ludicrous and suicidal. In a game of life and death, he can't afford not to be selfish.

Arrogant. Though he tries not to show it, Caelam considers himself superior to those around him. When it shows it's usually rather off-putting.
