The sun was already dipping toward the horizon when she finally stirred, her breath slow and even as she blinked the world back into focus. She hadn’t moved much through the night arms tucked close, body curled in on itself but now she stretched languidly, her spine arching, limbs reaching out like a cat soaking in the last rays of warmth. A deep exhale, her muscles unwinding with a satisfying pull. The soft glow of early evening bled through her window, casting long shadows across the floor. Another day, another grind. She turned onto her side, propping herself up just enough to peek at her menu. Her groggy half-lidded stare sharpened instantly. The quest rewards had hit like a truck. A surge in experience that made her grin despite herself, her fingers curling into a small victorious fist pump. It wasn’t much just a tiny, private moment of giddy satisfaction but damn if it didn’t feel good. And with that… it was time to spend. Kisodeth rolled out of bed, shaking off the remnants of sleep, her bare feet hitting the cool floor. Shopping was on the agenda, and that meant stepping back into the role of the Skeleton Maiden. With practiced ease, she approached the mirror, grabbing her familiar paints and setting to work. Layer by layer, the tired woman staring back at her vanished beneath the bold strokes. Blackened sockets hollowed out her eyes, jagged streaks cut across her cheekbones, and the skeletal grin curled at the corners of her mouth. By the time she was finished, Kisodeth was no longer Abigail de la Rosa. She was a walking omen. A shadow among players. A name whispered with equal parts wariness and intrigue. And today?
