Rebekah 0 Posted November 4, 2014 Author #21 Share Posted November 4, 2014 Daily Attempt #1: Rebekah took out some flour that she had collected a while back, and decided to make some sort of pasta/noodle type food. She poured the flour, and various other ingredients into a bowl, and started to mix it. After a while, it was time to stretch/flatten the pasta with her rolling pin. It was a lot easier in Aincrad, as she had to roll it a few times, for it to gain the shape. After a few rolls, she now need to cut it into the small size for spaghetti. She took out her knife and made a few marks, and hope it would work. It did but it did not look pretty, it was something that was going to improve over time. Finally, she put it in the water to boil. 339 CD: 9 (Good Item) + 2 EXP Item: Plain SpaghettiType: ConsumableQuality: GoodShop: Rebekah's CafeEnhancements: NoneDescription: None
MacGrath 0 Posted November 7, 2014 #22 Share Posted November 7, 2014 McGrath walked in the Cafe, looking around, the place was looking good, he walked up to the counter waiting for the someone to serve him, looking at the menu he was thinking something tha het usually likes. Rebekah 0 Posted November 7, 2014 Author #23 Share Posted November 7, 2014 Rebekah looked up at the player that walked into her cafe. "Hello, is there anything you would like in particular, extra damage, extra luck in roleplays, etc..." she asked. She had a wide range of things that she could make. She handed the player the menu of stuff that she could make, and decided to stay nearby just in case he had any questions.
MacGrath 0 Posted November 7, 2014 #24 Share Posted November 7, 2014 "Um..." He goes, after he was handed a menu to look at, "I would like to have spaghetti please?" He asked her. "I don't mind how well its done, I'll pay whatever it costs." McGrath finished, and handed her back the menu, "It's a lovely cafe here, did you just started or has it been open for a while? He asked her again with a smile.
Rebekah 0 Posted November 7, 2014 Author #25 Share Posted November 7, 2014 She handed him the spagetthi that she had made. Usually, she would charge 50 col for normal items, but normal items are essentially worthless in this game, without the added bonus stats. She told him, "This one is on the house" she said, as she was looking forward on clearing some of her normal items. "This has been open for quite some while, but its a niche floor, most people like to avoid the freezing 4th floor all together, but its a nice floor to hang out, and have activities indoors." MacGrath 0 Posted November 7, 2014 #26 Share Posted November 7, 2014 "Thank you, and I know you said that this one is on the house, but I'll give 100 col as a tip." He said with a smile, opening his menu giving her 100 col. "Okay, if you need help with anything at all, as in like in serving people while you cook, just let me know." He said with another smile. Rebekah 0 Posted November 11, 2014 Author #27 Share Posted November 11, 2014 It had been a while since she continued cooking, but she knew it would be important. With the news that the next boss battle will be upcoming, she knew that she needed to start to get ready with extra enchantments to help save the players. She took out one of her 2 remaining mats, and had to start to cook. She had a big piece of steak and decided to roast it on the grill, along with some potatoes that she had collected earlier. It would be a hearty meal, but it would be good enough for someone looking to get a big meal before doing something important. She continued to grill it, and tried to get it perfectly medium-rare, as nobody likes their stakes well-done. 788: LD = 12 (Perfect Item); + 8 Exp Item: Beef Steak with Potatoes Quality: Perfect Shop: Rebekah's Cafe Enhancements: [Well Fed - 3] Description: + 3 HP for a Roleplay
Rebekah 0 Posted November 15, 2014 Author #28 Share Posted November 15, 2014 Rebekah took out her last cooking mat, that she had stocked up in her fridge. She would have to go on a few collections to collect these mats. She was no longer as interested in stocking up her entire inventory, but rather more interested in attempting to gain a improve her cooking level, so that she could cook more dishes. She started writing down a recipe book to keep track of all the things that she could make. Rebekah took out the mat, and started to defrost it from the freezer, but it was starting to mold, and lose her freshness. She took a look, and threw it away. She then had to spend the next while, cleaning out her freezer as well as cleaning out her entire kitchen. 1034: CD = 2 FAIL (+1 EXP)
Rebekah 0 Posted December 3, 2014 Author #29 Share Posted December 3, 2014 It had been a while since Rebekah had ran out of mats, she started to take a step at opening the cocoa pod which she had collected. Even though she had despised chocolate as a child, she knew that people liked that sort of stuff, and wanted to make a drink out of it. She wanted to add a bit more flavour to the hot chocolate, and decided that mint leaves, would leave a bit more minty to the drink. It was a cold floor anyways, and people would be more willing to enjoy a cup of hot chocolate over any cold drinks that she knew how to make. 3381: CD = 12 (Perfect) = 8 + 1 EXP Item: Mint Hot ChocolateType: ConsumableQuality: Perfect [3381]Shop: Rebekah's CafeEnhancements: [Herbs 2][Probiotics 1]Description: + 2 ACC, + 1 DMG Mitigation vs Poison/Bleed. Draterion 0 Posted December 3, 2014 #30 Share Posted December 3, 2014 Draterion walked in and saw the mint hot cocoa on the list. "Hey," he asked," How long do these buffs on the mint hot cocoa last? I may want it but take it to go!" Draterion smiled.
Rebekah 0 Posted December 4, 2014 Author #31 Share Posted December 4, 2014 It should be ready just shortly, it'll be 200 col for it. She needed to add the finishing touches on it, and took from where she had put it down the other day after making it. It was her first drink that she had made in a long time, and was happy that she was giving it to someone who would have more useful than herself. (OOC: Just waiting for them to approve crafts, might take another day or so)
Draterion 0 Posted December 4, 2014 #32 Share Posted December 4, 2014 Draterion smiled a little bit and became polite, as she seemed to what to help players. "Hey, thank's ma'm. Would you like to go fight some snowman and snow goblins on this floor sometime? Or just make snowman? I happen to have my guild head quarters and my soon to be shop on this floor. Its a lovely floor!"
Rebekah 0 Posted December 20, 2014 Author #33 Share Posted December 20, 2014 It had taken a while since her last attempt, as she knew that she needed to be careful with her low amounts of materials. She took a honey that she had struggled to collect on her previous quest, and was thinking about what she could do with it. Rebekah had some extra garlic left over, and decided to make a mini-snack. She decided to make some bread, which was easy by the simplification of Aincrad. She started mixing all the ingredients in her bowl, before setting a heat/time in the oven. She waited for it to be perfectly mixed, and put it in the oven, she could already feel the aroma of the food coming out, and when she pulled it out, she put it on a plate, and set it as uncommon. Draterion 0 Posted December 21, 2014 #34 Share Posted December 21, 2014 Ok. "Are we still having the purchase? How much was it again?" Draterion had dozed off. Draterion looked out through the window to see the beautiful snow. (Ooc: sorry, in a rush!)
Rebekah 0 Posted December 23, 2014 Author #35 Share Posted December 23, 2014 Rebekah turned to Draterion, It was 200 col. She took out her last three materials that she had with her, and decided to start cooking once again. It was the first time in a long time that she had rushed 3 orders at once, but knowing that she was trying to finish them for today, she hurried and attempted to give it her best shot. In the end, she ended up burning one of them, while only making average food the other two. She put the other two away in her storage. Arekkusu Sepera 0 Posted December 29, 2014 #36 Share Posted December 29, 2014 Arekkusu walked into the building and looked around, the air was warm and he felt at home already. But he couldn't rest right now, he couldn't believe it took him so long to find a place that offers food, one runned by a player anyways. Hopefully he would be able to have food ready. Arekkusu wanted to order a certain sort of item... which may not be fair to the owner since they probably don't have the item Arekkusu wanted to eat. But it didn't hurt to try. Arekkusu had his order on a slip of paper, hopefully specific enough, he never ordered food on paper before. Item: Spicy Chili Type: Consumable Quality: Rare Shop: Rebekah's Cafe Enhancements: +2 Dmg (Cost in Description) Description: Spicy bowl of Chili, players who consume the item are Guaranteed to be influcenced and strengthened by the intensity in the bowl. However, while meal is in the player, whenever an attack is carried out, they take -1 Health. Arekkusu then flicked out his pen and added a side note he forgot to add. Also, I know how rare this item probably is, so I'll pay any price for this item, you can name whatever price you'd like since making this and charging at a default price probably isn't fair. Thank you.
Rebekah 0 Posted February 3, 2015 Author #37 Share Posted February 3, 2015 Rebekah looked at the slip of paper placed in front of her, and knew right away that would not be possible. "Unfortunately, it was something out of her power, for something as strong as that, I recommend an alchemist." She did not like to turn customers down but it was something that was impossible for her to do, especially as a chef, and hoped he understand.
Rebekah 0 Posted February 3, 2015 Author #38 Share Posted February 3, 2015 It had been forever since Rebekah had put her cooking skills to work, as that required a lot of dedication in collecting materials. It was something that she had pulled off until later, but recently she had collected 3 mats from a side quest, and started to see if she still had her chef's touch. As she began to chop things up with her knife, she accidentally had butchered up the meat into something inedible. Rebekah was looking to cut out some excess fat and had almost destroyed the it just by trying to cut it. She had a long way to go before to improve, as she had not cooked in ages. Rebekah 0 Posted February 5, 2015 Author #39 Share Posted February 5, 2015 Rebekah looked at what had been left of her poor cutting skills, she tried her best to make something out of it, maybe even a soup, if she could remember what the recipe had said. However, she had no success as she had barely anything left of her original mat to turn it into a new item. she looked at her knife, one of these days, she will improve her skills, but today was a failure. Feeling a bit discourage, she decided to take a break for the next few days until she could rethink about what she did wrong to improve again. Rebekah 0 Posted February 24, 2015 Author #40 Share Posted February 24, 2015 She had not been cooking in quite a while, but realized that she had missed it, surprisingly. For a while, this had felt like it had become a chore, rather than something that she had enjoyed. So, she took a mini-break from her rather quiet shop, she was not in this to make col, but rather to master a skill. At the rate she was going, she was not going to be able to reach a high enough level before the game would become cleared. She took out her bread and decided to make another snack, perhaps some grilled cheese, as she had not made that in a long time. She took out her skillet and began frying her bread on the stove. After a while, she was lucky that she did not burn the bread this time, as she had burned a lot of food in the past.
