I dared not enter the room yet, but I crept as close as I could to peek inside the door.

I wish I hadn't.

People were strewn all over the place, missing limbs and dying, if not already becoming clouds of shards before my eyes.

That's when I saw, for lack of a better word, IT.

I look over Aoife's shoulder and gasp slightly. I look at all of the dead and dying bodies.

We have to help them!

I whisper still in shock but anger building

Looking over at all the bodies inside the room I began walking in there. Zauis looked back at his little sister and Clarence and gave them a smile while tossing them both a teleport crystal. As I got closer into the room I noticed yellow like flames started forming all around the wall on some type of stand. Not caring I walked in confident while looking at the people in agony I clenched my fist "Why did this have to happen, huh!?! Why damnit!? I know your within the shadow over their Demon King. So why not come and play with me you sick bastard...." he said in an angered tone while reaching for his Cliducster he unsheathed it awaiting for the boss to come out of the shadow.

One teleport crystal isn't enough for two people, ya know.

Of course not. But I'm not running away anyways.

I turned to look at Clare, sending him a silent message, then followed Zauis into the room.

Walking forward so that I stood next to my brother, I whispered, You aren't getting rid of me that easily.

I smirked then looked at the shadow that was too dark, too... malicious, to be normal.

Seeing movement, Cleo growled fiercely and stepped forward.

I know, I see it too.

Good. For a second there I thought you didn't.

How could I not? It's huge!

The thing stepped out of the darkness.

Oh gods.

Standing in front of us, at least 20 meters (For ya metric peoples out there!) tall, was a black and red monster.

The best way I could possibly describe it would be the normal stereotype of a devil. You know, the one with the horns on it's forehead and the arrow tail with the trident? Yeah, that one.

Enthralled at the challenge, I said, This should be fun.

I follow behind Aoife and Cleo, seeing the massive demon in front of us.

Great, now we have a devil in this game, this is a living hell

I mutter to myself, pulling my daggers out scarred, nervous, and angry about the dead people all around me

Can we actually beat this thing?

Zauis heard footsteps from behind as he noticed his little sister beside him he smiled. Clarence walking up to us made me kinda happy cause I knew we couldn't lose. The demon walked from within the shadows with horns and a huge trident and a long tail as I quickly went into shock slowly shaking with my Cliducster in my grip. The monster dashed us and I pushed my sister and Clarence outta the way as it swings it's trident my way I try to counter with my Cliducster but it was a fail. He slashed me sending me flying back as I coughed up blood slowly speaking to the two "Sister....Clarence....Run Try to use the crystals and leave..." the demon king turned toward my sister and Clarence.

I grinned wickedly and turned to face the Devil.

So, Clare. You ready to fight?

I pulled out my sword.

You ready to die, Devil?!

Laughing like a maniac, Cleo cringed and the others? the others may have been freaked out by it.

I sounded insane.

I nod my head, laughing slightly at Aoife's insane laughter.

Well now we are fighting the devil with a insane chick, a low level rogue, and a high level sociopath.....great

I think to myself as i unsheathe my dual daggers.

We better get a lot of stuff for this.

As the monster turned his attention to Clarence and my sister who were just standing around idiotically while they just SAW me get attacked. "You idiots!!! Don't just stand there." he said while getting off the floor noticing the monster running towards my sister and Clarence I quickly sprinted toward the demon king in perfect time as I slash the demon king back away from them while breathing heavily. "Damn he's huge.....geez" he said in an annoyed tone.

The monster turned towards me and Clare.

While it was lifting it's trident to strike, we ran.

The red weapon sliced across my arm, missing Clare.

I grit my teeth together.

Shoot.

Health: 16/17.

I quickly run in, slicing my daggers up. Hitting him but we throws me back into the wall behind us. A satisfying crunch of my bones as I hit the wall. "I'm ok!" I yell back weakly. I roll out of the way as he trys stabbing me with his trident. "I'll keep him distracted, hit him as much as you can!" I yell back, just barely missing his fist.

After striking him the first time I notice he went after my sister and Clarence. My sister was slashed and Clarence began distracting him. It was a good plan but he shouldn't risk his life that way. I noticed he got slashed as I dash toward the demon while he's focused on Clarence and I slashed him in the chest knocking him away from Clarence. "Tch...... Let's get this [censored] started. Heheh" I said with smirk while looking at the demon.

I ran back towards the Devil, slashing my sword at it.

Darn it! I missed!

I retreated back out of range while the trident struck the spot I'd just been in.

Health: 16/17.

[Clarence 0]

I pull two paralysis potions out and chuck them at the demon, it slowing him down a tad. "Guys, he is slowed a bit, you might be able to him easier. I yell, running at him, daggers out. I get a couple hits on his legs and feet before he tries to hit me, I roll out of the way just in time for him to get his trident stuck in the ground.

Zauis saw Clarence throw poison at him as Clarence slashed him I got pumped and excited and lost my focus. I dashed behind the demon but he knew I was there and he swung his tail into me knocking me into a walk as I slid down the walk in pain. "Damn that hurt....let's hope my sister can get a hit off." he whispered to himself while slowly getting up.

I snuck up behind the beast and launched my surprise attack.

Cleo jumped at the Devil, clawing and biting it.

I lifted my sword up and whispered, Iai.

My sword glowed and I lopped off the Devil's arm.

I jumped back out of range of the Devil, Cleo following, while the beast howled in pain.

Health: 16/17.

Boss Health: 20/25.

I stare absent minded as Aoife chops off its arm. "Holy crap... I mumble but don't realize it coming right at me. I stumble back a bit, getting hit by it and hitting the floor hard.

Zauis smirked at Aoi's slash at the boss as she knocked him off balance I saw Clarence nearby as he got attacked I sprinted toward the boss slicing him in his chest once more knocking him back. Breathing lightly I look at Clarence's health noticing it's getting down quick. "Clarence how ya holding up bud? You seem to be getting attacked a lot." he said in a worried tone.

I wince getting up "I can manage." I quickly get up and throw the one daggers into the demon king, he screams and it falls out of his thrashing body. I quickly spin around "Watch out!" I yell and throw my other dagger, it catching the demon off guard that was about to hit Zauis.
