Oske 0 Posted September 21, 2014 #1 Share Posted September 21, 2014 Since Oske closed her shop, she had been running about searching for a place to craft her items. She then recalled the place where she had learned how to be a blacksmith. She rushed to the shop on floor one, greeting the NPC on the way in and throwing her materials into the furnace immediately. She let out a long sigh, equipping her apron and gloves along with her hammer. She was going for a perfect item. She had two Atlantis Irons, and she planned on going out looking for more materials once she was finished. She needed a better sword, though. Once she had heated the metal, she pulled the first one out and set it down on the anvil. She then began to hammer down on it, her face sweating from the heat. She slowly started at her new sword, which looked just like her old one... but had an enhancement. Item: Silver Wing (Sword) Quality: Uncommon Shop: NPC Blacksmith Shop Description:A silver sword with golden accents and a black hilt. +1 accuracy
Oske 0 Posted September 21, 2014 Author #2 Share Posted September 21, 2014 Sheathing her sword, Oske thanked the NPC and left. She wanted to get some materials to make Pepper a new sword. She had to find a rose garden. According to information she had received from a broker, there was a garden full of roses hidden in one of the forests surrounding Starting City. The roses had silver stems and pink, metallic tops. However, the only problem was… some had thorns, which did a point of damage for each prick. Oske didn’t have much of a problem with this, as it could still be used for smithing, but… Ouch! She walked out of Starting City and headed toward the forest. She immediately encountered a small tree imp. It wobbled around, and was clearly a baby. Oske laughed. She slashed, and it died instantly... why was the health so low...? Oske 0 Posted September 22, 2014 Author #3 Share Posted September 22, 2014 As Oske killed the baby imp, another one spawned and wobbled over to her. It was even smaller than the other one. She paused, staring at it. She walked past it, and it struggled to follow her. It then fell on its side, unable to carry its own weight. Was it really worth it, killing the stupid little thing? She sighed. Maybe she’d get some good loot from it. She lifted her sword and stabbed down. The little imp rolled out of the way, making sort of a giggling noise. Oske cursed and scoffed at herself. Oske 0 Posted September 22, 2014 Author #4 Share Posted September 22, 2014 As Oske lifted her sword to stab the imp, it opened its mouth and let out a loud, air-splitting shriek. Oske covered her ears, her eyes filling up with tears. It was so... loud. She gripped her sword tightly and stabbed straight down, her sword splitting the imp in half by the throat. It burst into shards with a little gargled shriek. She fluttered her eyes, staring. What the heck? Oske: 29/29 Baby Imp: 0/1 !DEAD! Oske 0 Posted September 22, 2014 Author #5 Share Posted September 22, 2014 There was a thump in the distance. Oske heard little harmless bird mobs squawk and tweet, fluttering and bursting into a swarm as they flew away from the forest. Oske looked in the direction of the thumping as it grew closer. She could see what looked like a tree to be slowly walking toward her. Her eyes widened, and she turned and dashed deeper into the forest. Hopefully, the mother imp wouldn't see her. However... Mother Imp: 15/15 Base Dmg: 5 Accuracy: -1 Oske managed to jump and rolled out of the way as a branch/hand came thumping down to the ground, nearly crushing her. She gasped, unsure of its stats. It was on floor one, so it couldn't be too bad... right? Right?
Oske 0 Posted September 22, 2014 Author #6 Share Posted September 22, 2014 ((Turns: Mother Imp, Oske)) The mother imp made sort of a roaring sound, lifting the other fist and trying to slam it down on Oske. Oske rolled out of the way again. The Mother Imp stared at Oske with hatred in her eyes, and she was clearly angry about Oske killing her children. Oske couldn't disagree, if anyone killed Pepper... Oske would destroy them. Mother Imp Roll: 3 (4-1accuracy) Damage Dealt: 0 Mother Imp: 15/15 Oske: 29/
Oske 0 Posted September 22, 2014 Author #7 Share Posted September 22, 2014 "Crap!" Oske gasped. She tried to stab the Mother Imp, but she lifted her fist just before Oske stabbed her. Oske then rolled away to stand on her feet, activating her acrobatics skill to jump and climb up a tree, giving her a better look at the Mother Imp. Now she could have a clear shot next time she had to attack her. Oske Roll: 4 (3+1accuracy) Damage Dealt: 0 Mother Imp: 15/15 Oske: 29/
Oske 0 Posted September 22, 2014 Author #8 Share Posted September 22, 2014 The Mother Imp stared at Oske. With a blank expression in her eyes, she knew she couldn't hurt the player... not when she was in a tree. That was really all she cared about--the nature. She couldn't hurt the tree if the player was in it. She gently reached forward, attempting to tap Oske out of the tree. Oske swiveled around the Mother Imp and dodged easily. Oske 0 Posted September 22, 2014 Author #9 Share Posted September 22, 2014 Oske suddenly realized that she was unable to reach the Mother Imp as it pulled away from her. There was no way she could jump that far to the imp, so the only option she had was to fight it on the ground. She carefully climbed out of the tree, running at the Mother Imp with her sword by her side, ready for a slash. Oske 0 Posted September 22, 2014 Author #10 Share Posted September 22, 2014 The Mother Imp had enough. When she tried to swing at the player again, Oske simply dodged her and rolled away. She decided it was time to use all her might to defeat this player. Her root suddenly began to grow, and while she lost some of her health, her eyes grew brighter and her speed increased. (next turn for Mother Imp= +2 accuracy, -5 health) Oske stared at the Mother Imp, unsure of what it had just done, but knew it was something she wasn't going to like. Oske 0 Posted September 22, 2014 Author #11 Share Posted September 22, 2014 With a hack and a slash, Oske cut off a little bit of the Mother Imp's health. "Finally!" she exclaimed, twirling in a little dance. She jumped back. Now that she had done damage, she couldn't just run from the fight. Besides, this creature... would probably have beautiful rewards! She smiled at the thought of it, while the Mother Imp turned and charged. Oske 0 Posted September 22, 2014 Author #12 Share Posted September 22, 2014 Oske easily sidestepped the Imp's attack. The Mother Imp, though being just a programmed being, felt sorrow as she realized she had wasted her health for nothing. Her single attack, that was supposed to destroy this player, did absolutely nothing. She was now down to 8 points of health and there was nothing she could do about it. It would be a waste to charge up her power again, as she would be in too much of a weakened state afterwards. Oske 0 Posted September 22, 2014 Author #13 Share Posted September 22, 2014 Oske went to slash the Mother Imp, but it kept running forward. She paused. Where was it going? She climbed up a tree and chased after the Imp, jumping treetop to treetop with her sword ready. The Mother Imp no longer had intention to fight this player, but Oske wasn't going to give up easily. Oske 0 Posted September 22, 2014 Author #14 Share Posted September 22, 2014 The Mother Imp knew this player would kill her. There was no denying it. It didn't matter how long she fought her--she would be the one dying that day. So, in order to get revenge on this player, the Mother Imp grew her roots further. Her health bar ran red like blood, and she felt so weak... but even if the player did kill her, she had a finale to finish her off. Oske 0 Posted September 22, 2014 Author #15 Share Posted September 22, 2014 Oske charged at the Mother Imp. However, she then froze. Why did her health bar go down to 1? She stood there, frozen... Something was clearly wrong. Was the Imp going to explode or something? Self destruct? Oske turned and started to run away. The Mother Imp charged... this was her chance. Oske 0 Posted September 22, 2014 Author #16 Share Posted September 22, 2014 With a large thump, Oske felt the Mother Imp’s fist slam into her back. She hit the ground hard, but thankfully, her armor protected her. That didn’t stop the pain, though. Oske grunted and made a hissing sound through her teeth. She was going to kill that Imp. Oske jumped up as soon as the Mother Imp pulled her fist up. Mother Imp Roll: 6 (3+3accuracy) Damage Dealt: 1 (1basedmg) Mother Imp: 1/10 Oske: 30/
Oske 0 Posted September 22, 2014 Author #17 Share Posted September 22, 2014 Oske slashed at the fist of the Imp. She lifted her fist and pulled it away. Her teeth were gritted tightly, and she knew that her next hit would be the last thing the Imp saw. Oske 0 Posted September 22, 2014 Author #18 Share Posted September 22, 2014 The Mother Imp swung her fist, and Oske slammed into a tree and fell to the ground. Her wonderful armor had saved her again from damage, but the pain was there. Even though this world didn't have pain, Oske had lived in it so long that she felt the pain. The Mother Imp slowly approached the player who had collasped on the ground. Mother Imp Roll: 8 (9-1accuracy) Damage Dealt: 1 (basedmg) Mother Imp: 1/10 Oske: 29/
Oske 0 Posted September 22, 2014 Author #19 Share Posted September 22, 2014 As the Imp lifted her fist to kill the stupid player while she was down, Oske shot her sword up and stabbed right through the Mother Imp's fist. It grumbled in pain, and shimmered just before it exploded into little blue shards. Oske suddenly felt a sharp, sickening pain... and she crumpled. She looked up at her health bar--it was capped off with a little purple marking. She had been poisoned. Sweat trickled on her forehead, and she felt sick to her stomach. She popped her reward into her mouth and chomped down on it, healing her by two points after it had went down by two points. Oske 0 Posted September 22, 2014 Author #20 Share Posted September 22, 2014 Oske slowly stood up, wiping the sweat off her forehead. She stumbled and began to walk forward, struggling to move due to the poison. She kept walking slowly to the center of the forest. The smell of iron and roses mixed as she approached the garden. Her head was throbbing. She knew this poison wouldn’t kill her, but it sure wasn’t fun to have. Oske: 27/31 !Poisoned! (-2 for 2 turn)
