SAO- RPG and its new look

Hello there players and welcome to our brand new software,

 

By now I am sure you noticed the drastic change we have made to the site. We recently switched forum software from PHPBB to IPB (paid service). We here at SAO-RPG took a big step. The number of players on our site increased so now we wanted to make a better community that gives everyone the best features that we can give. We have many features that you can explore at any point in time. 

 

Now we have noticed some errors but no worries, we are currently working to fix them so rest assure that everything is under control. Please do not upload your own avatar, the ways to get your own still applies so please obey and respect it. Some of the journals may need to be fixed up so if everyone can check theirs then that would be great.

 

Some of you may notice that there is not the same dice system, well here is what is going to happen, for one week, you (the community) will test run two different methods. The system we currently have available which is more like the Honors system. For that system you must copy all the die that was  just rolled and paste them at the top of the post. Please label the dice that was used with either bold letters or underlined. Here is an example:

 

• Rolled a 4 on the d4 dice.
• Rolled a 5 on the d6 dice.
• Rolled a 7 on the d8 dice.
• Rolled a 5 on the d10 dice.
• Rolled a 12 on the d12 dice.
• Rolled a 1 on the d20 dice.

 

"Shark made an attempt to slice at the monsters throat but just missed. (etc...)"

 

That is how you use that system. The other system is from a 3rd party dice roller. Here is how it will work:

 

1) go to http://catchyourhare.com/diceroller/

2) create a password and put it on the bottom of your post

3) Roll the dice you need. (i.e. 1d10, 1d12, 1d20)

 

Both systems are close to the Honor system. Please keep to the one roll rule. It's no fun to anyone if you give yourself cheated numbers.

 

After the roll, at the end of the post, please label what method you used. 

 

At the end of the week, a poll will be taken to gather the opinions of the community to see what method will be used.
