»History: Lance started gaming very young, and has had a controller in his hands since before he can remember. Lance can fondly remember playing MMO's with his friends becoming a great tactician through planning raids. Lance almost diddnt end up getting SAO as his friends had opted out on getting it on release, claiming they'd get it digitally later, Lance really wished he had to. Outside of SAO Lance is in a relationship with a woman named Mika, he fears he will never be able to see her again. In the world of SAO Lance dawns the name Atlus, a name he uses often in games.

»Personality: Atlus at first glance is arrogant, cocky, and maybe even a little insane. He charges into battle's giving out a loud battle cry, and yells at his enemy's, despite it not effecting the NPC monsters in any way. Underneath his "Manly" facade he himself is terrified, he fears he will never see the real world again. Outside of battle Atlus is a kindhearted, and supportive man, he makes a good shoulder to cry on.

»Looks: Lance has medium length spiky hair that is brown naturally but was died blue before he started SAO, he figures it'll eventually fade out but that time hasn't come yet. He is average height and well built, with tan skin. He currently wears the starting armor of SAO in a bright orange color with his mighty red cape flowing behind him, and his starting curved blade at his side. His eyes burn with a bright red passion.

» Virtues:

. Brave- Atlus will face any challenge in his path. He'd look a boss in the eyes, and spit in its face! He was a brave leader in his group of friends, commanding them through many raids.

. Motivational- Atlus can make one great speech, in the real world he wanted to do work as a motivational speaker. "This is just another wall we have to break down!"

. Exploiter - Atlus is good at finding exploits in games, and using them to his advantage, he can remember one time when he, and his friends took down an extremely powerful hidden boss by tricking the game into thinking they had broken the damage limit. Though SAO is an extremely well thought out game it will be difficult to find any.

. Tactician- Atlus is a pretty great planner, he can make tough decisions quickly, and can have a plan ready fast. This was a skill he developed in other MMO's.

» Flaws:

. Bold and Overconfident - Atlus is very forward, and confident. This can sometimes lead to bad situations, he has put his and other lives in danger.

. Flashy - Atlus is extremely flashy and loud, making stealth a difficult task. In battle he is loud, known for screaming at the monster NPC's, despite t not effecting them.

. Blunt - Atlus doesn't beat around the bush, he is blunt, and honest. If your going to die hes going to tell you,

. Terrified - His Bravado and Arrogance are merely a facade, he himself is terrified of death but would never show it. He tries to forget fear, and the only way he knows how is to pretend to be fearless.
