Oske 0 Posted January 29, 2014 Author #21 Share Posted January 29, 2014 Oske stabbed forward, unable to use a sword skill at the time. She stabbed through the skeleton, killing it instantly. It burst into blue sparkling shards before disappearing. She then turned toward the skeleton that was attacking Ren. She sliced through its skull, but it wasn't done yet. Ren 0 Posted January 29, 2014 #22 Share Posted January 29, 2014 Ren not being as fast as Oske when it came to fighting, he had the technique but not the level, yet. His sword reached the skeleton after she firstly attacked him, luckily for him this resulted in the skeleton being defeated, as he was already injured by Oske's attack. The skeleton slowly started crumbling into pieces, leaving nothing behind, as the room became once more, clear. "Phew.... I mean... just a warm up, should we continue?" he asked Oske while appearing a bit tired from all the running that he did before.
Oske 0 Posted January 29, 2014 Author #23 Share Posted January 29, 2014 Oske giggled softly. "It's okay if you're tired. There's a safe zone up ahead, and I know all the shortcuts. I've been through this dungeon, like, six times." She slowly led the way, looking around and checking for mobs every turn. "So, Ren, uh... do you have any other friends? What's you're life been like since SAO?"
Ren 0 Posted January 29, 2014 #24 Share Posted January 29, 2014 "Friends... not really a thing that sticks to me. Since I've joined SAO my life's been.... good, I guess." he said while appearing a bit nervous by the subject, but nonetheless he continued speaking of it whilst walking alongside Oske. "What about you, Oske. What do you desire? Why did you joined this game?" he quickly turned the subject, trying to not reveal a lot about himself.
Oske 0 Posted January 29, 2014 Author #25 Share Posted January 29, 2014 "Oh, I um... I joined this game for two reasons. I love MMORPGs, so that's an obvious reason. The virtual reality world was something I've been waiting for forever. But I also... usually join these kinds of games... in hopes to find love and friends?" Oske blushed furiously as they entered the safe zone. "I've never been successful at making friends or finding a boyfriend yet, but that's fine. I made lots of friends here now, which is great!" Ren 0 Posted January 29, 2014 #26 Share Posted January 29, 2014 "Hmm... finding love... does such a thing even exist?" he wondered deep inside his mind, while leaning against the wall, shutting his eyes for a mere second. The resolve which Oske had made him ponder a bit, and because of Ren's careless and loneliness personality, he completely got lost within his thoughts, forgetting that she was actually next to him. Oske 0 Posted January 30, 2014 Author #27 Share Posted January 30, 2014 "W-well, I hope so," Oske murmured. "I loved someone here at one point, but..." She trailed off, anger reaching her cheeks again and turning them red with rage. She shook her head, clenching her fist around her sword. She then brightened up in a smile, trying to cheer herself up. "I'm sure I'll find someone else! Anyway, would you like to stop here to eat or keep going?"
Ren 0 Posted January 30, 2014 #28 Share Posted January 30, 2014 Slowlly he openned his eyes, noticing that the redness upon her cheeks has returned once more, Ren couldn't restrain himself, letting out a softly chuckle whilst using one hand to cover up his mouth. I don't think we will find a better then place then this. Lets grasp this opportunity to relax for a bit, and clench our hunger." he said with a assuring tone. "And... there's a request I might have once we finish our run. My sword, you see" he pointed at his dull curved blade, "it's a bit useless, I was considering on acquiring a katana. What price do I need to pay for such a request, Oske? he asked.
Oske 0 Posted January 30, 2014 Author #29 Share Posted January 30, 2014 Oske slowly sat down, opening her inventory and pulling out two sandwiches. They didn't have any spices, just bread and grilled boar meat. She handed on to Ren. "Well, a katana... depends what material you want," Oske replied. "If you can get me some materials, I'll make you a katana for free. But you have to get at least 5 mats of... whatever you want, really. But it needs to be durable.
Ren 0 Posted January 30, 2014 #30 Share Posted January 30, 2014 After forth and grabbing upon the sandwich, he nodded a few times rapidly while saying Thank you... thank you, Oske., I'm really bad when it comes to things like these... if you could send me a list of known materials later, I'll be forever in your debt. he added whilst unfolding the wrappings around the sandwhich. He clinged firmly upon it with both hands, taking a small bite from it. "Ummmm.... it's tasty. I didn't knew a sandwhich could taste so well, in a game." he said whilst drooling all over his food. Oske 0 Posted January 30, 2014 Author #31 Share Posted January 30, 2014 Oske giggled. "I'm surprised that I didn't burn it. I don't have a cooking skill, so I usually do... Let's see, uh, I'll send you a PM later of a few materials that would be good for making a sword. I know that tamahagane is used to make katanas, but I'll need something better than that... Hmm..." She pondered this while she ate her sandwich. She slowly pulled up her inventory and started jotting down notes about materials.
Ren 0 Posted January 30, 2014 #32 Share Posted January 30, 2014 "This will surely keep me busy for awhile..." Ren thought insdie his head, while letting a smile take over his face. Ren then clapped his hands a few times, letting the small bits of bread which remained from the sandwich, slowly crumble away. "Twas a great meal, Oske. Thank you, once more." he said with a satisfying tone whilst rubbing his abdomen. "I know you for a such small amount of time, yet I owe you for a full one. If you ever need something from me, please feel free to ask. I'll be there without even questioning your request. You're a great person, Oske."
Oske 0 Posted January 30, 2014 Author #33 Share Posted January 30, 2014 Oske blushed. "Oh, uhm... thanks..." She stood up and brushed herself off. "Well, the boss room is up ahead. They killed it a while ago, so we don't need to fight again. There might be a few of the Kobold Minions hanging around, but nothing to bad. We're almost there." With that, Oske continued to walk forward with her shield up and her sword ready.
Ren 0 Posted January 30, 2014 #34 Share Posted January 30, 2014 "Even though I'm not that strong yet, I'll take care of the rest, Oske. You've already done too much, just sit back and relax." Ren said before he started sprinting forth, passing by Oske. He was eager and excited, swirling the trails of dust beneath him as he kept running at his maximum speed. Oske 0 Posted January 30, 2014 Author #35 Share Posted January 30, 2014 "All righty, then. I'll see you around, I guess," Oske murmured. "Just send me a PM when you've finished collecting materials! I'll teleport anywhere you need me to in order to make your sword!" With that, Oske gave a small wave and leaned back to watch her new friend fight.
