Niklaus having grown up in a wealthy family appreciates the finer things in life. He was taught how to excel at business from a young age and would always be looking to profit from whatever he is doing. There is a purpose to everything that he is doing. Usually, it is related to accumulation of future wealth.

Niklaus has very low morals in his life. The only two things he cares about are his family, and never breaking off a promise or a deal. To others, he is a harsh cruel person unless you are part of that family. He is also known to hold grudges and is often passive-aggressive towards other. He is someone that you do not want to cross at all.

His business tactics have always been shady to say the least, but to him, it is just a means to get the end result. He personally does not care about being stuck in the game since he sees it as a challenge to be stuck in a whole new world and to build his empire in Aincrad.

» Virtues:
Honour - If he every gives you his word, you can bet that he will keep it. However, he does not give his word to just anybody, and only the select few that can gain his trust. There is nobody else that you would want as an ally for that reason alone.

 

Family - While most of his family dynamics are in shambles, he is willing to stick by those two that have been by his side since the beginning. That is provided they do not betray him at all, which is often problematic, but he looks out for the people he can call his own.

Humanitiy - While he can be down-right cold-blooded at times, or almost always, there is still a little bit of humanity in him, if he has to do things that way. However, it is rarely seen from him. He does have sympothy for others but it is near impossible to see or find.

 

Master-Tacticion - He is skilled in coming up with tactics/strategy against various things, as he does have a lot of enemies/family arguements that he would eventually win. He knows what buttons to push in order to give him leverage or an advantage in the game.

 

» Flaws:
Hot-Headed - He does not think before rushing his actions a lot of the times, especially if he does not have a plan in motion. This can cause him to make a lot of enemies as they would be insulted by his rash decisions.

Cruel - This comes from his childhood where his father would physical abuse him, and try to kill him (still to this day), and that had an effect on his personality. He is cruel to others, and sometimes does it just for the fun of it.

Greedy – Nik is always looking to prey and extract as much value out of every trade deal that he can. He will calculate exactly how much he each player is willing to pay him. Once he agrees on a deal, he will not go back on his word.

Selfish - A lot of the times, he does things for his own best interests without taking into account how others may react. Actually, he does not care at all about others think at all, as what is best for himself will be what is best overall.

Mercenary – Money talks. Nik is willing to do agree to help others with any quest for the right price. He lets others know he is willing to be paid for the right price.

Manipulative – Nik is always trying to keep his siblings in line. They must listen to him all the time, and must never go against him. He is willing to manipulate others so he gets his way, or get him what he wants.
