Guest Posted November 22, 2014 #1 Share Posted November 22, 2014 Ok Performers are great for one thing... Monster Grenades... (which are considered op) However when one things of a performer, they dont think of somebody who crafts monkey grenades like in Black OPs Zombie mode. They think of somebody who plays music like a bard... Well... So here is my idea. Keep the the way leveling works requires 7 perfect songs old leveling rules To level up one has to accomplish 7 perfect songs that need to be accept by GM's. You have to get a perfect roll or you don't get a point to start leveling up. While the rest of the rules stay the same, a 1 is Epic Fail, 2-4 is a Fails, etc. and the mats can be lost as well as the recording cannot be deleted.Rank 1: 7 perfects and 3 Crafts a day1=Epic fail (lose mats)2-3=fails (lose mats)4-6=bad Item can recover mats through recover quest7-9=Good Item 10=Uncommon Item 11=Rare Item 12= Perfect Item Rank 2: 7 perfects and 5 Crafts a day1=Epic fail 2-3=fails3-4=bad Item 5-8=Good Item9-10=Uncommon Item11=Rare Item12= Perfect ItemRank 3: 7 perfects and 7 Crafts a day1=Epic fail 2=fails3=bad Item 4-7=Good Item8-9=Uncommon Item10-11=Rare Item12= Perfect ItemRank 4: 7 perfects and 8 Crafts a day1=Epic fail 2=bad Item 3-6=Good Item7-9=Uncommon Item10-11=Rare Item12= Perfect ItemRank 5 (Final Rank): 10 Crafts a day1=Epic fail 2-5=Good Item6-7=Uncommon Item8-10=Rare Item11-12= Perfect Item But Then let this be the crafting list 1=Epic fail (lose mats)2-3=fails (lose mats)4-6=bad create song sheet7-9=Good Item (song grants 1 HP) or song sheet10=Uncommon Item ( song grants 1HP and 1acc) or 2 song sheets11=Rare Item (song grants 1HP, 1Acc, 1 dmg) or 3 song sheets12= Perfect Item (song grants 2 HP, 1Acc, 1 Dmg, 1 dmg mit), 3 song sheets, or monster grenade (1 turn for normal mat, 2 turns if uncommon mat, 3 turns for rare mat), regen song(plus 1 regen per post even in battle, can only be used in quest thread) of a song is played it, it can either give the buff in the thread it is played in (with the performers permission) or it can be written on a song sheet for later use by the bard or sold to a shopkeeper to be played at their shop for the day and gives buffs to those who pay the shop keeper The last thing we do to the performer is make their buffs allowed to bypass all limitations, (which allows people to reach 9 mit) This way the performer is not looked as a weaker cook, has a simple and easy way to get money like other professions, and will stay true to the what a performer actually does... Preform songs you can modify the buffs and crafting list but you get the picture
Kiru 0 Posted November 25, 2014 #2 Share Posted November 25, 2014 I think every person with an instrument should be a able to have a special ability that is exclusive to them. For example, a violin user could have a move where they distract the enemy with screech or something. Maybe guitar could have a "sleep" ability, paralyzing the enemy for a turn or two? I probably make no sense but yeah...
Tristan Delaney 0 Posted November 25, 2014 #3 Share Posted November 25, 2014 Well technically that also doesn't work because a performer has the Sphere of Symphony, which transforms to an instrument of their will :P
claim 0 Posted November 26, 2014 #4 Share Posted November 26, 2014 Mod grenades are awesome but I think it would be cool if they could buff the team or single player for a single combat or so many turns but that just my 2 cents
