» About: Crossbeam, or James Manake, is a simple man. He does not have a troubled past, like others. In the most part, he is normal. However, he has a few distinct traits that seperate him from the rest. When faced with a serious situation, he is humurous. Also, when James is angry or in an arguement, he will use logic and big words to confuse the opposing side. Despite his many humorous traits and his sarcasm, James is afraid of the dark when alone. James is also not very confident. 

 

» Virtues:

(Humurous) Crossbeam cannot stop being humurous. In any situation, he will act hilariously. He is very sarcastic. Sometimes, this trait gets on people's nerves. Crossbeam's sense of humor is nearly unrivaled.

(Open Minded) Crossbeam will accept any and all ideas. He believes that even the most wild of ideas could possibly work. He also does not judge people by their appearence, and will change his point of view constantly.

(Intelligent) Crossbeam is very intelligent. This does not mean he is very wise, however. He learns easily and has many facts stored in his head, but is not very street smart.

» Flaws:
(Paranoid) Crossbeam is paranoid. This leads him to being afraid of the dark. When alone, Crossbeam thinks things that are impossible could happen, such as an evil monster jumping at him. Since this is actually possible in Sword Art Online, he rarely travels alone. This also leads him to using excessively large shields.
 
(Easy - Going) Usually, being easy going would be a virtue. However, this prevents Crossbeam from being serious even when he needs to be. If the situation is dire, Crossbeam probably won't take it seriously. Also, this flaw annoys people around him.

(Hot Headed) Crossbeam is angered easily at times. His intelligence sometimes allows him to think before he acts even when angry. It really depends on his mood.
