The SP of Quests and Topics

So, I've recently completed my first quest. Since you get 1 SP from topics and 1 SP from quests, do I get 2 SP? I'm pretty sure it's 2, but I need to clarify since SP is important and I don't want to be nailed for cheating it.

If you're on about Earning a Living, that doesn't have a skill point as a reward. Some quests such as <<Blood in the Sand>> net you SP for first time completion, in the aforementioned case 3 extra SP.

As said, some quests earn you extra skill points as a reward if it is listed to have it. Otherwise you only get 1 for completing a thread.
