(SP-F1) Searching for E virbrato <Earning a living>

Recommended Posts

Arekkusu looked at his Col to see that he lacked on both his currency and his materials. He was broke... Great. Arekkusu slumped his back against an NPC shop and sighed. It was tough obtaining either of the via killing monsters. He didn't have the strength or the luck. Arekkusu then found the broken pieces of wood in his inventory. Useless at that moment, but not he finally found use.

"A business." Arekkusu said. "I need to start a business. Rare are the sights of monster grenades being sold on the first floor."

Arekkusu then looked at the broken pieces of wood. "But... I seem to be lacking..m" Arekkusu stated. "I guess this is where the search begins."

Arekkusu walked into the fields. He first needed some important wall pieces. He wanted to make the design of his place techno-like. He didn't know if that were possibly in a game designed to be a bit ancient, but anything seems to be possible.

"Materials." Arekkusu said to himself. "The first goal is to get some materials so I can create some awesome grenades, are at least what I call awesome."

Arekkusu looked for a herd of monsters high up in the hills. He looked below, watching hogs pass by in often parties of two, which highly disappointed arekkusu. Material hunting is the first goal, and no one ever told him that it would be easy. Actually no one told him anything, but Arekkusu still thought so anyways.

Arekkusu ran down the hill quickly and wanted to make a giant impact at a party of three and test his luck.

The floor one enemies actually looked his way as he ran down the hill. Arekkusu still attempted to slice anyways, which of course was a stupid idea. Arekkusu wasn't new to those, but there he was. The hogs all dodged his blade and actually hit him from behind. The impact felt like a small push, so he turned his back to face the monster party

Arekkusu quickly ran at the hogs and scratched his. Blade against the grass. He aimed his blade lazily at his first target. He didn't find it too much of a threat since these enemies were on the first floor.

Arekkusu spun his blade sideways, hitting the hog into the air, adding humiliation to the blow. It then shattered into pieces of data, but no loot came from it.

Arekkusu quickly turned his body to the side, seeing the hogs staring right back at him. They were hesitant to attack, Arekkusu, not so much... Or really at all. Arekkusu looked at the ground, no items. He realized that this would take forever gathering resources for shop building like that. A giant business is nice, but ever one of those start off small. Maybe the pieces of wood can assist him, but he would need more of them. Right now though, arekkusu was in battle, and he did not dare to run away from two floor one common enemies.

Arekkusu dashed quickly at the two hogs with his blade ready to cit through the both of them. Then he let his attack lose and attempted to strike the both out of the picture.

The attack insyantly shattered both of the hoda and left arekkusu standing alone. That battle he didn't want to fight again. Now it was time for some lumberjacking.

The trees around him had bright green leaves and a healthy brown coating inside. The bark strong and healthy from what he could see... And be wanted to use a sword to cut it down. A players strength and a thin blade vs a strong tree. At least an ax would be nice.

There had to be a way of getting wood, and that way was chopping down trees. Machinery isn't an option... Maybe any weapon can honestly work.

Arekkusu looked up at the tree, ready to cut it down and dodge its fall. He put his blade out in a baseball bat like motion and swung at the tree with his full strength.

Arekkusus blade made contact with the bark of the tree. It seriously cut through the tree and and made it through completely in one shot. A human couldn't do that in the real world, but this seems to be possible in a video game. Well at least Arekkusu didn't have to make an ax or really and electric devices to run the game. Arekkusu put his arms back, this time both of his hands on the blade, ready to dealsome serious damage once again.

Arekkusu took one more good strike at his tree. It was expected for the tree to fall on the very next strike, so this time he expected himself to be extremely swift with this hit and run.

Arekkusus blade then dug itself inside the tree and completly made it to the other side. The stump of the tree was short, and the rest of it fell quickly to the side. Arekkusu jumped to the left and avoided the tree that stumped against the right. The loud earth-shattering drop made Arekkusu fall on his back. He looked up to see pieces of wood right where the tree hit... Odd... Or maybe not. It would explain why many places are made of wood.

"A trees worth of wood though..." Arekkusu thought to himself. "A large cube isn't really something one tree can handle..."

Arekkusu then remembered his ability to use skills that werebt already on him. Only one... But still useful. He had charge on his side, and to use that should heavily impact the trees. Arekkusu looked at his blade, which had a faint glow in it already. Arekkusu looked a bit to the left to see the next tree to cut down. He then activated his favorite and only skill to use, causing his blade to obtain its blue glow coating.

Arekkusu then felt his feet press against the ground. They then leapt forward as if they were to ambush prey. Arekkusus vision blurred and he constantly blinked, the intensity of his speed was a bit too much for him to handle, but he knew that it will be worth the trouble in the end.

Arekkusu finally reached his mark, then got a bit too close ans he sliced. His blade cut through almost the whole tree in one swing, but Arekkusu knocked himself with the skill. He fell on his back as he wringled around in both pain and satisfacrion.

Arekkusu clumsily stood back onto his feet and groaned. Taking hits from bark was a lot rougher than taking hits from claws. The fact that arekkusu took damage from a tree saddened him. He had harder times fighting trees than monsters, and on the first floor as well. After the business is set up, Arekkusu planned to cry himself to sleep for such an embarrassing moment.

Arekkusu looked up at the tree to see how tall it stood. On the bottom he saw the giant dent he made on the tree. That was something that helped gain his pride again... Until he saw the oval mark on the tree that identified itself as his head.

Arekkusu lazily tool another swing at the tree, this time intending to take out the tree once and for all. Arekkusu then stumbled a bit and actually missed the tree. He missed a tree... A giant plant standing in front of him, only two feet away and he still missed...

Arekkusu fell onto his knees and starting blubbering in English, then started swearing in spanish. How the hell did he moss a tree?

When arekkusu finished his senseless pouting, he raised his blade again. This time it stood between his nose and his eyes were crossed towards it. Not one second did Arekkusu plan to let go of that eyesight, which could make the tree even harder to hit... Not that hitting a tree should be hard at all.

"Screw you narrator." Arekkusu said.

Anyways, Arekkusu loosely swung his blade with all his muscle behind it. The chances of losing this are pretty high since Arekkusu didn't even look at the tree. A normal person might not need to, but Arekkusu missed it while looking at it. Can anybody give me a 6 letter word for dumb?

Arekkusu then took out the tree with ease, his blade cutting through the tree without him even being stopped by the bark. The tree collapsed just like the other one did. The tree missed him by a few pixels, which gave Arekkusu a lucky break.

The pieces of wood came out once the tree landed to the ground. Bring so close to Arekkusu, some bricks smacked him square in the face, which added insult to injury. He might need some therapy for his life, and maybe a bit more luck. He obtained the many wood pieces and then felt ready to obtain his tools needed to start. Let's see, hot glue, hammer, nails, screws... Does he even know where to get such items?

Arekkusu walked back to the town slowly, thinking about his plans for his new store.

A name that isn't retarded. Arekkusu thought. The music stores I went to had some pretty good names. Maybe something like Flamx Violinin... except with other insturments. Wait... I think I have the perfect name... or at least what I call perfect. Areks music Ark... or maybe just Music Ark. Now building the store shouldn't be a problem. My dad used to be a construction worker and always brought me with him to help... once he bribed me with money of course. It should take me about a week in order to make the building complete. I can let people inside and buy while I'm working. Now about the instruments... those are hard to craft. Not even in Orchestra I was taught to make a Violin... not that they were supposed to. I guess I'd have to break mine in order to make others. Strings... bows... Rosin... Fine Tuners, actual tuners... my Col wallet is going to be empty!

Arekkusu finally reached the town after an exhaustive hour of walking. His thinking distracted him, but his feet were ready to collapse. Wearing armor for too long makes him look suspisious and eventually will wear down his body. So to prevent this, Arekkusu unequipped his sword, armor, and his scarf. He now is wearing cloth clothing, which he now feels stupid for wearing. He needed more modern clothing than this, but not right now.

He didn't feel the need to go to a player shop. The NPCs wiere smart enough to build their own town. So Arekkusu made sure to follow Auras words on where to go if I need anything on the first floor. For homeware items, go to the place to the left after you pass the gates... like that was helpful. It was all he could remember, which narrowed him down to about five shops.

Arekkusu guessed for the first shop to be the one. Or at least what he considered to be a shop until he walked in. After a few seconds he had a red hand mark on his left cheek. That wasn't the place... not even close. Arekkusu then looked up at the second sign, which had only a picture of a Hammer and a Screwdriver. That seemed to be the place. He was ready to buy... if there was enough Col.

-30 Minutes later- -500 Col lost-

Wow. Arekkusu thought as he walked out with a hammer in his hand. That took forever, negotiation isn't really too effective on SAO. Those items were expensive... whatever, at least I have the items I need in order to start constructing.

Arekkusu put his items into his inventory. The finally nail to put in was finding a place to make his shop. The area had to be open, free, some place where there aren't many other shops to compete with. Where can one find such space?

Arekkusu walked through the town to see some empty small area he can build a growing shop in. He couldn't find any empty areas however... that sucks. What does he do then? Arekkusu looked towards his right when he made it to a corner of the town, a few shops were located there, but not too many. There was no such thing as perfect, especially in business. He shrugged and put his pieces of wood on the ground. He created a somewhat border-like line with the pieces of wood. This was going to be his place of business to begin his life as a shopkeeper... after he at least builds some borders.

Arekkusu remembered his fathers teachings as he started to begin. He heard his fathers voice as he built, as if he were actually talking to Arekkusu.

Don't rush with the nail. Arekkusu heard. Remember to loosen the bolt a little before confirming the area... don't forget to screw the nail... careful with the hammer, smashing your hand will really throw a wrench into your plans... remember that the wood needs to be stable among itself.

Arekkusu took forever, but he finally finished his job. The walls were finally put up, now it was time for him to build a roof. Once that is done, windows would have to be installed and then the paint will be brought to great use... after he washed his hands, he had a lot of cuts and glue on his hands, reckless job, but the walls looks so balanced and stable. It was all too perfect, he was actually about to have his business officially.

Arekkusu next built some wooden weak stairs for him to walk up to the area that he planned to put a ceiling on. Arekkusu the realized that this second floor could be his own part that allows him to sleep there if he couldn't make if home. He checked his inventory to see if he had enough wood to create a small cube for him to sleep. The rectangular cube can actually be the roof. Now Arekkusu would need a blacksmith to help with making a lock for the second floor, but at least he had those in the first place.

Arekkusu fell a few times from the high heights and the floor tended to break a few times.  After a lot of falling and painful attempts, he finally built the bosx he needed. He plans to add a mattress and a pillow eventually, but that was now the point right now. He looked inside the first floor and smiled at the empty room, it was perfect for him, despite the unrealistic amount of time and hard work it took him to make it. He just needed to design it and then he is finally finished.
