[PP - F1] A Quiet Drink (Rin, Kitty, Arekkusu, Crozeph) (Completed please lock)

Sousuke Entered the tavern alone and took a seat at the table in the corner. Today he just wanted to relax and he was going to just sit there and think over a few things. The past few weeks had been mayhem since his brothers death and today he thought it was about time to just relax and take a breather. He wasn't really doing anything much and needed a change of pace. He looked out the window to see the players going about their daily business and took a swing of his mead. Today was going to be a good day.

[Arekkusu Sepera 0]

Arekkusu looked to the side to see a new player looming out the window. Or once new, but Arekkusu recalled him. Sousoke... Sasuke maybe? Arekkusu wasn't too clear on his name. He knew what the kid was going through, so arekkusu decides not to jumpscare him.

Arekkusu jumped the balcony from a great height and landed, his coat almost flying off.

"Hey there." Arekkusu said through the window from outside. He walked inside to see the player and possibly chat. "I dont think we've had an actual normal conversation. My name is Arekkusu."

A guy who Sousuke recalled from his guild appeared in the window and waved to him. Sousuke thought nothing of it until he entered the tavern and approached him introducing himself. ''I saw you at my brothers funeral didn't I? how are you doing since well ... you know'' he asked. His brothers death hit them all hard and he only really stayed with Rin since the funeral since they all went their own separate ways for a while.

[Crozeph 0]

Crozeph has returned to town for a rest after his wanderings, he felt tired for a moment and he wanted to sit down and relax for a while. As he enters the tavern, Crozeph saw two of his guildmates "ahh two of my great friends" he said. Crozeph grabbed a seat and sat alongside Sousuke "so how's your daily life? I know I'm your superior but I don't have any orders to give you except to stay alert" he said. Crozeph ordered a cup of ale, he never drink too much. The last time he did he almost got owned by players he messed with. Crozeph looked at Arekkusu then "still gutsy as ever" he mumbled smiling "how are you too Arekkusu?. Crozeph drank the whole ale in one gulp ordering another.

Crozeph told Sousuke to stay alert and downed a whole glass of ale, surely that isn't god for you he wondered. Still the boy seemed to be enjoying himself atleast and with recent happenings he thought it best to leave well alone and go along with the fun. He drank his mead and ordered another for himself. ''Its not a problem'' he said to Crozeph which was intended to put the boy at ease still he wondered where everyone else had got to.

"Lets... not talk about that." Arekkusu said, avoiding the subject of his friends death. "Hey Crozeph! Long time no see since... well... the quest. That was pretty hectic huh. So what brings you to the first floor?"

 

Arekkusu knew that question could be shot right back at him. However, he prepared an answer that he always prepared whenever people ask him this. He is so used to it nowadays that he made a default answer to it, which sometimes doesn't work, but at least that worked most of the time.

[Crozeph 0]

Crozeph was spinning on his chair even though he's having a hard time doing it, he likes messing around for a while with his friends and as always he would act erratic out of nowhere "yeah that quest in a harsh area, man I never thought it would get troublesome" he said then he began to laugh. Crozeph didn't quite expect to be this happy after his long wanderings inside the game, its like he missed them. "This kind of moments are priceless" he said while he drinks his mead.

Sousuke downed another glass of mead and order a third his head beginning to swim a little. He looked around at his two friends one had been away for some time the other just appears when he feels like it. ''They sure are maaaan.'' he said rocking on his chair slightly. He was such a lightweight that wasn't even funny

[Crozeph 0]

Crozeph looked at Sousuke "feeling light on your feet?" he said smiling. Crozeph stood on his chair and sat at the bar counter "we're all stuck here, yet we still have time to drink..." Crozeph down his mead quickly "isn't that a little funny?" he said. Crozeph looked at the place "nice place but a bit gloomy, we need a few entertain..." Crozeph stood on his chair but lost balance causing for him to land on the floor face first. Crozeph rolled over and laughed "man I'm such a kid sometimes" he said still lying down on the floor.

Sousuke looked down at Crozeph and all he could say was one thing. "Are you drunk" was all that would commute with intoxicated Sousuke. His head certainly was a bit fuzzy.

[Arekkusu Sepera 0]

"I... don't... drink." Arekkusu said to Crozeph when he suggested they all drink. Then when he saw the intoxication take its role, he really didn't want to drink. This was the first time he saw Crozeph drunk, and one thing he learned was that when someone was drunk, he would leave them alone. It brought back a certain memory he didn't want to remember. Arekkusu needed to make sure that he took care of himself. "Anyways, how are you Sousuke? I personally don't want to talk about the dark topics."

Sousuke looked at Arekkusu and shrugged, this drunk thing was new to him that was one thing he did know. The other thing he knew was that Crozeph looked like he was enjoying a nice nap on the floor. "Well i think a little drunk if I'm honest Arek, Its new to me and it feels weird and by the looks of it I'm a bit better off than sleepy head over there." He said pointing at Crozeph

"A little?" Arekkusu asked. "At least you aren't so drunk that you can't even talk to me, man you deserve a medal right now, that is straight up amazing. Crozeph... as much as he is a good friend to me, he looks like a corpse. Seriously, it's like I'm the older brother of the two of us even though I'm a teenager and he's an adult. But hey, we all make out own choices right?"

Crozeph sat on the floor "hey, I just don't like to be the one acting like an older brother all the time" he told them. Crozeph knew he was drunk but he didn't know what to do with it and he only had 3 cups and he already feels like floating "maybe this is the reason they don't let me drink in the real world" he said as he looks at his hand while he flexes it "but in the end I learned how to drink anyway" he said before laughing softly. Crozeph tried to sit on the chair then stooped down raising his hand "another cup my friend, there aren't drinks that make you go drunk on where I'm going" he said smiling.

Arekkusu sighed as he looked down at Crozeph. He let him drink, what was Arekkusu supposed to do? He then wondered if frinking in the game will affect his real body? Still, even if it didn't, he was scared of getting drunk. He wanted to exist as a person with his body completely, he did trust anyone else to play Arekkusus roll. That wouldn't end well since Arekkusu was a powerhouse with his sword, he was not toy to be messed with.

 

"Well Crozeph..." Arekkusu said as he wanted to shut his eyes, but he couldn't, it was like watching a car accident. No matter how bad it was, you just can't stop staring at it.

Sousuke looked at him for a moment and shook his head, but order another round anyway. "Hey arek if you don't mind me asking y don't u like to drink, is it just a personal choice or is it deeper than that?" He asked curiously. He was sure there was something out of the ordinary here besides him being drunk and crozeph attempting to do breast stroke on the floor.

Arekkusu trusted the two people talking to him well enough to answer the question quickly. He wouldn't often share it... in fact, other than Kitty, these two would be the first two people that he told his story to. Arekkusu breathed in, ready to pull out his father from his grave and put him into his flashback. He didn't want to make his death seem bad... but there was no good way of putting it. Arekkusu folded his hands and looked at the window, not making eye contact with either Crozeph or Sousuke.

 

"It all started..." Arekkusu started his story. "When I was 10... but a lot longer than that it seemed..."

Sousuke observed arek a moment before nudging crow with his foot to urge him to listen instead of floor surfing or ... whatever the hell he was doing. The next round of drinks arrived and Sousuke slid arek a hot chocolate as he took a sip of his mead ready to listen to his frien

"I didn't know when he started drinking or why he started to drink." Arekkusu said. "All I knew was that he was a great businessman and a great... or what I once thought was great... father. He was my father, around his mid-thirties. He turned out to be a very successful man in my eyes, but now that I think of it, all I can think of is his blood. He died... while drunk... in fact, it was because he was drunk that he died the way he did... he died in a bar fight. Drunk, stabbed over and over by a knife before dead..."

Sousuke didn't know what to say but he now knew more about his friend and he felt closer for it too. "I'm sorry about your dad Arek ... but you do know that drinking doesn't always cause trouble right? And hey we are in a safe zone no one can hurt us so what do you say to maybe .., trying it just once it might help get over your fear." He told him
