» About: SAO- Almost every morning spent in a town area, Lore is found leaping and racing up and across buildings on a parkour-style traverse of the whole place for the funsies. Coupled with her showmanship and penchant for knight-like behavior, it has earned her the nickname 'the flying gallant'. Once in awhile, she slips up and falls on her buns, but that is all right. They are buns of steel. IRL- Growing up on three different continents and cultures in four different languages and being well-traveled to boot, Lore has many life experiences for her age. She is now an unabashedly eccentric university science student that lives harmoniously and healthily with her parents, budgies, dogs and koi. She has a flourishing social life and a lively presence, bringing delight to friends and family with her positive outlook on life, incorrigible comedian streak and hobbies as numerous as stars in the sky [many of which are artistic]. Her range of interests also happens to be as wide as the ocean [many of which are scientific]. She is oft called 'androgynous', both with regards to looks and personality. Part of it may be because she works out and appears to have the uncanny ability to produce vast amounts of adrenaline and spring into action at any given moment. (Which is how she got herself and a buddy to enroll in Wing Chun (chinese martial arts) classes together. Har.) Her undergraduate studies are coming to an end, but she continues to intern at a lab doing synthetic biology. She also does her share of work at home- in the summer, yardwork and gardenwork. She was found and moved to the hospital immediately after the incident, missing an awesome steak dinner in the process.

» Virtues:

Good-natured. Like a buddhist monk, taking no lives and cherishing even the most mundane aspects of living. Nothing comes more naturally to her than empathy and benevolence for all life. Anger is rare and exists only briefly, a momentary discomfort. Revenge isn't even part of her vocabulary.

Resilient. Despite the peace of her heart, she lives with passion and intensity. No matter how many times pushed down, she'll get back up. No matter the situation, she'll keep her head straight. In the face of challenge, she could never bring herself to give up. If it's a fight worth fighting, she can be counted on to fight it!

Inventive. Her mind is like a never ending torrent of creativity, schematics and ideas, just waiting to be unleashed on any subject, any moment, and from any angle. This can be as useful as it can be distracting.

» Flaws:

Prideful about everything oh man. Normally self-respect wouldn't be a flaw, but Lore goes beyond self-respect to almost-everything-respect. In fact, she could make a speech about the dignity of the tree and the nobility of the worm and how they each command a certain level of respect. It's an unnecessarily strong as heck sense of decorum and she ain't even sorry. xD

High Expectations. Overbearingly so. Lore automatically holds everyone in high regard, putting trust and expectations in them, encouraging them to take leaps they might not otherwise have taken. She sometimes forgets that it's not just a matter of 'want to' or 'don't want to'- that there is also 'can' or 'can't'. She also forgets how much pressure this puts on people who are insecure in their strengths and flaws, and may end up partially responsible when things fall apart for them. Oops.

Scatterbrained. Mind keeps jumping from one thing to the next. Has a notoriously bad memory that can sometimes give the impression she hadn't paid attention, even when she did. 8T
