SP - F2 - The Lonesome Soldier

OOC - All combat in this thread will not use battle and the regular battle setup all fights will be written in 'cinematic' form. The purpose of this thread is to tell the story of Sousuke. There will be no item or col drops involved in any battle and no loot to be found. The setting will be switching between the past in the real world and present time in SAO.

Sousuke sat at the bar in the second floor tavern in the town centre of Urbarus. He was sipping at a bottle of mead relaxing and just remenising about the past. It was difficult to believe he had been in this game for well over a few months now and that a few weeks before his dive into the world of SAO he was a full fledged member of a top secret military organization. The aim of the organization he belonged aimed to protect various HVT's in the possession of what is know a black technology imprinted in their brains at birth. How this came to be was at the age of 12 if a boy had shown an apptitude in combat they would be offered a chance to train with this group. Sousuke began to experience a pain in his head, similar to a minor headache as he began to experience a flash back.

4 Years ago

 

Sousuke was sitting at his school desk not really paying attention to the math class that was going on, he was simply gazing at the clock ready to return home with his twin brother. Sousuke didn't see the point in math class at all, after all when was he going to be using these things in his life anyway he wasn't going to be a teacher or anything. He looked across the room to his twin brother who sat there grinning his usual stupid grin at him. Sousuke rolled his eyes and leaned back in his seat waiting for the bell to ring.

 

The bell rang after the longest ten minutes of Sousuke's life he had ever experienced and the whole class rose to their feet and bowed in unison before leaving for the locker room. ''Hey Sousuke that was the most boring class yet wasn't it?'' Tomoya asked him. Tomoya was his twin brother who passed away in SAO in front of Sousuke. Sousuke just rolled his eyes and slung his bag over his shoulder and began to walk to the entrance of the school they both attended.

Present day

Sousuke shook his head snapping him back to reality. He missed those days where everything seemed normal well almost normal. If he knew what was going to happen next he would have said to himself that this was anything but normal

Flashback

As Sousuke got home with his brother he was greeted by a man in a black suit standing at his front yard gate. He ushered him inside with his brother where his brother was ushered up stairs and himself into the lounge. There sat his parents and across from them a man in military uniform and a girl around 16 also dressing in similar attire. Who were these people?

His father asked him to take a seat and he did so politely and sat staring at the floor. These people made him nervous when ever 'suits' came to visit it normally meant bad news and that bothered Sousuke. The young female officer introduced her self as the captain of some submarine owned by a top secret military organization and began to explain the nature of her visit. Sousuke immediately looked up in shock the moment she said they had been watching him and wished to take him aboard the ship and train him to be a secret agent. He instantly nodded and told his parents he wanted to go. Five minutes later he was upstairs packing his belongings.

He grabbed his bag and headed down stairs shaking his Brothers hand and saying his good byes as he went and returned to the living room where everyone was waiting for him. He quickly slipped on his shoes and walked into the living room saying he was ready to go. He was excited to get going and wanted to see the submarine and learn to be an agent.

 

He said his goodbyes to his parents as they got into the black car with tinted windows and sat in the back twiddling his thumbs. It was strange how these kinds of things could happen and now he was actually with these mysterious people and driving further and further from home, he felt scared not knowing what was actually going to happen when he gets there.
