[PP-F4] Enchanted ( Brayden & Pyro )

Pyro followed Brayden, who had asked her to go ice-skating, on Floor 4. The sun was already setting in the sky; it was a purple, red, and orange hue. Pyro looked up at it in awe. Sure she'd seen the same beautiful Aincrad scenery so many times before but this time it felt different. Maybe it was because her new love was walking beside her? It happened quick but once he asked her out she couldn't help it, Brayden was surely special. She crossed her arms as the weather grew colder and she positioned herself so she could be closer to Brayden for warmth.

 

Floor 4, a Winter Wonderland. She'd been here before but only to map it out. It was still amazing as Pyro remembered. Fresh snow covered the ground, even now it was snowing lightly, snowflakes falling into her purple hair. Pyro decided to take it down and gently pulled her hair tie out and wrapped it around her wrist. Her hair fell perfectly in place and stopped at her shoulders. The skating rink came into sight and Pyro became more and more nervous. 'I hope I don't make a fool out of myself.' She scratched the back of her neck awkwardly thinking about what a scene she would create. But then she looked at Brayden and her worries vanished. "I-I'm glad we're going skating. I'm glad to be with you." She cleared her throat after speaking and looked away to hide her blush.

As Brayden and Pyro stepped off the teloporter, Brayden looked up. What he saw was an amazing view of the sun. this also reminded him of beautiness, and Brayden looked forward to having fun this day. Ice Skating at night. To be truthful, Brayden had never actually gone ICE Skating, yet Brayden had gone roller skating many times. The Ice skating rink was not hard to find, and Brayden began to wonder how fun it would be to play hockey in Sword Art Online. It wouldn't require a system, but even if it did or did not you could probably play hockey with the correct gear. 

 

Out of all the places Brayden have ever been, or even heard of, this was one of his top favorites.

3. Fancy Restaurant on Floor 1.

4. Volcanic range on Floor 9.

 

Brayden soon saw the skating rank. it was one of the prettiest things Brayden had ever seen!

"I'm glad to be with you to," Brayden responded. " Ready to go skate? I don't have to much real life or in game experience, being I've only roller skated three times IRL, and also broke my arm there, and have never gone ice skating. So, I'll be glad to learn with you!

Pyro nodded her head. "I'm ready." She said quietly. The skating rink wasn't too far away now and every second it seemed they were getting closer and closer. It was beautiful, even the snow couldn't compare to the appearance of the frozen-over lake turned into ice-rink. Only a few other players glided across the surface. There was a sign outside of the skating rink for players just arriving. Pyro read it silently in her head.

She was a bit scared but ready. Pyro slowly made her way over to the rink with Brayden. Pyro hesitantly stepped on the slippery ice and two black ice-skates formed around her feet making her a few inches taller. She giggled as the magic disappeared and left a plain pair of skates that automatically became equipped. Pyro was now standing still on both feet, hands at her sides, body completely still. Pyro held out her hand to Brayden. "Come on." She smiled at him. "Let's learn how to skate, or try to at least."

Brayden gripped her hand and said, "No, the true question is if your ready!" Brayden luahged as they sled onto the rink, in which Braden had nevery done on ice but Brayden had seen figure skaters and dancers on the Olympic broadcasts. Brayden was gliding with the skates equipped, beautiful skates.

Brayden skated with Pyro, attempting to walk a bit, how Brayden had learned to roller scate. Except that the skates weren't the same as roller skates and Brayden noticed he was fallig down. Brayden tried to let go of Pyro, but it was too late. They both fell onto their faces due to Brayden and he smiled a bit, but then didn't feel a thing. Brayden checked both their health bars. No damage taken. Pyro looked fine."Hey," Brayden said, "I'm sorry, Piper. Or Pyro. How about you lead this time?" Brayden handed his hand to her, hoping she would take it.

There was no tomorrow, Brayden had to make it feel like that, to bring out the fun side of him. Brayden looked down at Piper. "Well, wanna take my hand, ma'm?" Brayden laughed a bit. What man called his girlfriend mam? Hahaha. But Brayden was merely joking... Brayden noticed two other skaters skating on the oppisite side of the gianormous rink.

Pyro gained excitement as Brayden took her hand, something that she really liked, and they began to skate. It was scary at first and she tried copying Brayden's foot movement. Only a few steps later she found herself falling down along with her boyfriend. Pyro noticed Brayden had started laughing, so she laughed too. He got up and extended a hand to help her up, insisting that she should lead first, calling her ma'am in the process. Pyro stuck her tongue out playfully when she got back up on her skates properly and rolled her eyes. "Oh please, I'm not old." She giggled and held Brayden's hand again.

 

"Okay. I'll try." She slowly started to skate again with Brayden trailing slightly behind her. Pyro looked at the other two across the rink and smiled. 'I hope they're having as much fun as I am.' She thought. "O-Oh." Pyro gasped as she started gliding. "I'm doing it!" Pyro cheered and looked back at Brayden who still had a grasp on her hand. Her purple hair flew behind her as she gained speed.

 

Only after a few moments Pyro fell again, but this time she was the one to apologize to Brayden. Both got up in no time and Pyro squeezed his hand a little. "This is so much fun. I think we almost have the hang of skating." Pyro thought about something and held both of Brayden's hands, smiling at him while looking into his eyes. "You can call me Piper anytime if you want!" She said before turning and letting go of one hand, keeping hold of the other, attempting to lead again.

But Brayden had a different idea. "Let's have a duel! On the ice rink, sounds fun, right? Let's do it!" Brayden let go of Pyro, atttempted to keep both of them balanced without falling, and then looked down at his friends list, identified Pyro, and sent a request for first hit duel.

Brayden knew this wasn'ta true ttest of strength or any sort, but he still wanted it. It would be even more better for their relationships, swing how accurate they could hit. Obviously from the boar they fought they both sucked, the boar took forever. Brayden looked at her. Before Piper could select either the blue Circe or red x, Brayden began to skate around.

It was so much fun, and, this time, Brayden did not fall down. Brayden then slid back towards Piper with his dagger outstretched. "It's just for fun, don't think so hard, alright?" And Brayden skated around some more, enjoying it. The game seemed to make it so the more you fell down the less you would fall down in the future. Meaning when you first start, you fall a lot. But if you skate a lot,then you will become better at skating and not fall down as much.

Pyro watched Brayden let go and skate around. She wobbled at first and held out her arms to balance herself before skating alone. It was quite easy now, it seemed, and Pyro laughed once again while gliding across the solid, sparkling ice. Then Brayden exclaimed something and her head jerked up. He seemed rather excited but she had no idea what he was talking about until he held out his blade and a screen popped up in front of her, and then she understood what was happening. Pyro tapped her chin in thought and then shrugged before pressing the blue circle with her finger. "I hope you aren't scared," She skated towards Brayden and smirked with her hands on her hips. "I would be if I were you." She tapped his nose playfully and turned on her skates, leaving a space in between her and Brayden before unsheathing her curved sword. "It's on."

                   Brayden merely watched as the enemy: his girlfriend, was about to strike. the clock ticked down quickly, as if it wanted him to lose even sooner. Brayden prepared his dagger- the most accurate but weakest damage dealing weapon in the game- to slash at Piper.

                                               The fast moving clock determined it: Brayden was officially panicking. Brayden pulled out his dagger, as the clock/timer clicked right down to the 0.

Pyro glared at Brayden and smirked. It was now obvious that she was going to get first strike and every second the clock counted down she gained confidence. She gripped her sword and hoped she didn't hurt Brayden too much if any at all. He started to skate around a little and she followed in motion. She skated as fast as possible towards him with her sword readied.

She swung at Brayden while skating towards him but missed. She continued to skate, twirled around, and waited for his counter-attack. It was possible she could lose, and would have to take back her confident words of warning. Pyro frowned and focused on Brayden.

Brayden skated around the ice as he was so freaking anxious. Brayden twisted around on his skates, feeling his courage come back again. I am a Hobbit!

I Will get this! Brayden had actually been thinking about those two movie series before he met Pyro. "Pyro, Here I come, NOW!" Brayden skated as fast as a jack rabbit and launched himself at Pyro, then pretended to miss and flew past her, flipping around on his skates and turning towards Pyro, at a full sprint. or skate that is.

Brayden fell on his face but quickly gathered his strength, skating down the rink.

Pyro tilted her head back and let out a loud laugh when Brayden fell down and she had to cover her mouth with a hand to stop the noise. She gave a lopsided grin to Brayden as an apology and now she decided to have fun instead of worrying so much. Pyro wiped the frown off of her face permanently and gripped her sword.

In her best efforts Pyro rushed forward and swung at Brayden once again, aiming for his arm. She skated past him and turned her back, seeing the red mark on his arm as proof she had hit him. "Sorry!" She bowed.

Brayden knew and was used to the stinging pain of that and looked at his arm and almost began screaming when he remembered. This doesn't truly hurt. "Good thing I didn't bet no money, I would of lost it all!" Brayden began to skate once more, attempting at figure skating a bit. This is what it feels like to truly have fun......…………Brayden skated up to Pyro and bent down on his knees as if he was about to ask to marry her and slid towards her perfection ally. "May I have this Dance?"

Pyro blushed a little bit. "O-Of course you can." She said and took Brayden's hand nervously. She'd never danced before herself, let alone skate and dance at the same time, and was scared of messing up. 'And we're going to be really close...' Pyro told herself and she began chewing on her bottom lip and stared at Brayden, suddenly remembering that she was holding his hand and was just standing there. "Sorry, I was thinking about something." She said in a quiet voice, embarrassed because she'd forgotten and started to daydream. "Do you know how to dance yourself?"

"Nope. But I have seen a bit............................................but my IRL school is full of censored and they are all that. so it doesn't matter what they do. It matters what we do. today. right now." Brayden grabbed Piper as they were dancing around on the ice, not really actually dancing yet, being neither of them had really truly ever danced but Bryaden was gonna do something.......Brayden just loved her more than anything in the world itself................"it's...It..is nothing. nevermind" And Brayden began to skate around again and strangely they didn't fall down much.

"What?" Pyro wondered aloud. "What were you gonna say? I don't mind, you can tell me anything you know." She said when Brayden said his words were merely nothing. She spun around with Brayden and couldn't stop smiling, these moments were the best she'd had so far in SAO and it Pyro never wanted it to end. It seemed skating had come natural to both of them because they were no longer falling or tripping. Pyro's crimson eyes glowed with amusement and she stared at Brayden. He's so adorable~ She cooed in her mind and reached to poke his cheek gently. "So cute." Pyro said aloud after poking his cheek.

Brayden fell courage welling up inside of him, and did not know if this was allowed for someone their ages, but Brayden had to say it, "Pyro, will you marry me!" 

 

 

 

BOOM! Brayden let the bomb fly. Brayden looked at her intensely, and then smiled. Be courageos Brayden be courageous man Brayden. Brayden felt himself come back to reality as he hugged Pyro while they were skating, not very tightly but enough to get the point through. "I love you and always will no matter what happens in this game or in IRL."

Pyro hummed contently as the two skated but nearly lost her footing when Brayden mentioned the idea of getting married. She blushed and continued skating but stared at her feet. "I-uh...I..." She stuttered and chewed on her bottom lip. "Yes! Yes I do." She finally managed to croak and smiled faintly. It wasn't that she didn't like the idea of getting married, but instead that she was so nervous and excited at the same time it was hard to speak or really think. Brayden hugged her and she returned the embrace happily. "You're so sweet Rhonnaldio." Pyro whispered, using Brayden's real name for the first time, or so she thought it was. "Why wouldn't anybody take up such an amazing offer? I love you too." It was only a game, and the concept of marrying proved that you truly trusted the person you took the quest up with. To Pyro it made sense for her to accept. Her feelings for Brayden were real, there was no denying that, and how she felt when replying made her stomach knot.

Brayden thought it so absurd somebody would answer yes to that question coming from Brayden....He was never a liked person in real life, and he was never the best Japanese speaker in his class, but he tried to get better at it, and he progressed, but still no one would "hang out" with Brayden. But Brayden still has his dreams.....to become an Olympic runner.

 

Brayden lays the pair of ornate earrings in her palm and put the ring on the ring finger.(Brayden had no idea if that was what you were supposed to do). Brayden then looked up at her, not caring for anybody watching or such, and plain out kissed her. "I love you Piper, and I always will, untill the end comes upon either of us, is that how that phrase goes? No I hope it lasts longer than the end. of either of us or the human world.

"T-Thank you Brayden. I really like these." Pyro stuttered and smiled awkwardly. She was happy that Brayden had decided to kiss her, it was sweet and made her heart flutter. It was the first time she'd worn earrings, but then again, this was just a game so she didn't really have to get her ears pierced. Still the gesture was enough and Pyro was thankful for the gifts that proved Brayden's love even more though she already knew he truly did mean what he'd said.

 

"Are you sure?" Pyro asked in a dumb voice, already knowing the answer. She hugged Brayden again, not knowing exactly what to say in the first place. "I'm just so happy~" Excitement rung with every word she spoke, and Pyro squeezed her boyfriend gently and affectionately.
