Crozeph 0 Posted December 18, 2014 #1 Share Posted December 18, 2014 Crozeph slashed at the last mob that stands in his way shattering it in pieces "I've been through worse" he said sheathing his sword. Crozeph let out a deep sigh after the fight "lately, things are too common like everything is the same" he told himself. Crozeph took a few steps and admired his surroundings. A mountain range and he heard the Monster Arena is located here, Crozeph continued walking opening his inventory and pulling out one of his bread. "La-la-la-lunch time..." Crozeph looked behind him to see three more of the mob he killed earlier chasing him "w-wait I'm eating here!" he yelled. The mobs didn't stop and as if they understood him. Crozeph groaned and looked at his bread "I'm sorry my dear, I guess we need to make a run for it first" he said before kissing the bread. Crozeph then dashed forward leaving dust clouds behind him. He was faster than them and it seems they'll lose track of him after a few seconds. Crozeph grinned as the mobs became smaller on his sight behind him "adios amigo..." Crozeph felt that there was no ground to step on, he looked forward to see a small valley "oh bread, this is going to leave a mark" he said. Crozeph fell down rolling on the cliff hugging his bread with his right hand. Crozeph had to break his fall or something inside him will break at his fall. He stretched his hand pulling his sword and burying it on the ground. Crozeph managed to stop from falling "that was close" he said. Crozeph could see trees below "too bad humans don't land on their fee..." Crozeph heard a crumbling sound then his sword broke free causing for him to fall down again "land on your feet Crozeph!" he yelled. Crozeph landed on a branch still holding his bread on his right and his sword on his left. Crozeph wiped the sweat off his forehead then he heard something snap "stop it already" he groaned. The branch suddenly broke sending him down to land on the grass "had a bad day, can't eat lunch, triggered a chain of disasters..." Crozeph sat down and took a bite off his bread "...what could be worse?" he said.
Daeron 1 Posted December 18, 2014 #2 Share Posted December 18, 2014 As a player practically rained before him, he sighed. When he heard the player what could be worse, Daeron looked over him confused, but unwilling to help him up. Using his foot to roll him over, he acted like this guy was dead, even though he literally just spoke. His stomach grumbling, Daeron took the bread from the player and ate it, satisfying his hunger. "That was good, thanks. Cya." he said turning around and walked away, not caring if the player was ok or not.
Crozeph 0 Posted December 19, 2014 Author #3 Share Posted December 19, 2014 Crozeph was surprised when someone rolled him over like he's some kind of dead animal "hey that was rude" he said trying to stand up. As soon as he stood up his bread was gone and that another has eaten his bread "what the? that was mine, you can ask politely if you want one" he said brushing off the leaves of his shoulder. Crozeph looked around and saw that he was inside a forest deeper than he thought. He turned his eyes on the player who walked away after eating his bread. Crozeph followed him and tried to talk "not gonna say thank you for the bread? he said. Crozeph studied the player's look. He seemed strong and skillful for Crozeph, it was pretty obvious that he's a strong player. "That explains the rude attitude" he thought. Crozeph already knew this kind of persons on RPG games he played back then. Strong players lose a little to all of their good side as they slowly grow stronger. Crozeph didn't mind it, this kind of players were his motivation of getting more stronger "where are you going?" he asked, Crozeph didn't know the place so it seemed like a good idea to follow someone who may seem to know the forest. Daeron 1 Posted December 19, 2014 #4 Share Posted December 19, 2014 Looking over his shoulder, behind to find the kid following him, he turned around and drew his weapon. "Listen, do you honestly think it's intelligent to follow someone who is far beyond your own strength and someone who could possibly be leading you to a trap?" Daeron said, pointing out the obvious. "As for my rude attitude, that has nothing to do with my sense of power. I'm an egotistic guy. Always have been a narcissist and have always thought of myself to be conceited. The difference between me and other power-hungry players is that I know I have that strength, but I don't let it go to my head." he said as he pointed his sword at the player, with a lethal stance, that could be used to move quickly in for an attack to kill the kid, preparing himself for the worst. Crozeph 0 Posted December 20, 2014 Author #5 Share Posted December 20, 2014 Crozeph raised his both hands "woah, that looks sharp" he said "ohh, a trap" he added looking at him. Crozeph never thought about it, the first thing that came to his mind was to get out of the forest, he didn't expect to walk into a trap. Crozeph felt something worse closing in on him "now I'm in trouble" he thought. Crozeph didn't like the atmosphere, it's as if he's going to bite the dust soon. Crozeph moved back, the player seemed quite serious about attacking him. "can I at least know the way out of this dense forest?" he asked him. Crozeph knew that following the player could lead him to trouble much more worse than the wave of mobs he encountered earlier but at least he could ask for directions or he could ask for help even for a little. Daeron 1 Posted December 20, 2014 #6 Share Posted December 20, 2014 Daeron didn't care if this kid would make it out dead or alive. He just didn't like little imbeciles like him bothering him and impeding on his own progress towards a path of his own. Putting away his weapon into it's designated sheath which was wrapped around behind him on his back, Daeron gave him narrow eyes and a cold stare. "Follow me, I'll take you out, but that's it after that I'll give you ten seconds to run otherwise you're going to be hunted by the most wanted player killer in Aincrad..." he stated as he began walking, without checking if he followed behind, Daeron was increasing the distance between him and the player. Crozeph 0 Posted December 20, 2014 Author #7 Share Posted December 20, 2014 Crozeph doesn't know what to do now, he was too preoccupied on finding his way out that he didn't notice the mark on the player's head "great a PK, now what am I to do next" he told himself. Crozeph didn't like to be taken out just because he's following him, he could already be on his own, or take the risk of being taken out "the most wanted killer in Aincrad..." Crozeph scatched his head "...that makes me the most unlucky player in Aincrad" he added. Crozeph looked around him, the forest seemed to offer him nothing but trees and bushes and a path which the player treads on. Crozeph took a step forward still following the player, keeping his distance from him.
Daeron 1 Posted December 20, 2014 #8 Share Posted December 20, 2014 Hearing the crunches of leaves and branches from beneath his feet, he could hear the ones that were coming from behind him, giving him evidence that the player was going to stick with him. In case the player was wondering, Daeron would do nothing in order to help him with combat if it came down to it. He wanted to leave and had no intentions of helping a weakling. Only the strong survive and the weak shall perish was almost the way his motto went, except slightly different. With monsters near Daeron, he wasn't sure if they'd jump out at the player, but he knew he was safe since he was such a high level he knew the monsters wouldn't be nearly dumb enough to attack a superior by that much. This was one of the powers of being the fourth strongest player in Aincrad, that he didn't have to deal with pesky monsters that would just turn out to be a nuisance in the end. Crozeph 0 Posted December 20, 2014 Author #9 Share Posted December 20, 2014 Crozeph kept his distance on the player, he knew that going with him is dangerous but there is still another option "yeah I could run off like always but then I'll get lost, just like always..." Crozeph could hear the crunching leaves and the branches being swept carefully. There are many predators in this kind of places and Crozeph knew that he obviously looks like a prey. Crozeph gripped the hilt of his sword, there are two dangers now that he's facing. One is the player who he still don't know the name and the other, mobs prowling around. "I hate this kind of situation, it's like there's no escape" he said to himself. Crozeph heard twigs snapping behind him triggering his instinct "behind me, and it seems larger than me" Crozeph ducked dodging the creature's attack out of pure luck "that was close" he said. Crozeph dashed towards it and made a downward swing cutting the creature from shoulder down to its left side. The creature stood up after receiving the blow, a huge mongoose with red eyes and long claws and brown fur "are there suppose to be mongoose this big?" Crozeph raised his sword just above his shoulder "let's end this before I lose sight of my only ticket out of this place" he told the mongoose as it reveals its fangs before him. Daeron 1 Posted December 25, 2014 #10 Share Posted December 25, 2014 As the player followed behind him, a monster had appeared and attacked him. Daeron had already told the young player that he wouldn't stop to help and if he helped now, it would show nothing but weakness and that he was all about bluffing a situtation. Instead, Daeron continued walking down the path, where he stopped at a tree when he knew the player couldn't see him anymore. Leaning against it, he was able to hear the noises of the monster fighting the player. Between the squeals and the grunts, Daeron hadn't the slightest clue of who was winning, but regardless, he tried to tune out the situation until it would be dealt with. Keeping his own gear in check in the meantime, Daeron drew his weapon so that he could begin cleaning the metal of the blade itself, using the robe he was using, he was cautious so that he didn't cut his own gear. It'd be a shame to lose it because of a stupid mistake.
Crozeph 0 Posted December 25, 2014 Author #11 Share Posted December 25, 2014 Crozeph looked behind him and saw that the player is gone "this sucks" he said. Crozeph then turned his eyes upon the mongoose who is still breathing. Unfortunately his blow wasn't enough to quickly end its life. Crozeph raised his sword aiming it at the heart of the mongoose "you've a price to pay for me" he said. Crozeph need to track down the player after the fight but it seems it won't be easy and this animal isn't going down without a fight. Crozeph rushed towards the giant mongoose and the animal did so too. Both of them successfully landed an attack with Crozeph wounding its right leg and shoulder and the mongoose biting his arm burying it's fangs at it. Crozeph kicked it making the mongoose squeal. "For a giant animal, you sure scream like a little mouse" he said raising his wounded arm. Crozeph could feel the pain seeping in and he's hoping there's no poison that might slowly kill him in this battle and also he needs to end it quick before he completely lose track of the player.
