PP-F2: Cerulean Silence: Passive Sect Mission #1

It seemed like the group was moving slow. Very slow. This was disappointing and begining to put a small damper on Mari's unusually good mood. Despite that, she had told herself she would hunt to the best of her ability and would hope that the others would do the same. She continued to scavange for materials in a nearby bush, and was successful. She placed it away and stood up. Now deciding it best to focus her attention onto the members of the guild who were here.

Jacob was too young to lead an entire Sect. Grougaloragram was battling, and was quite brash, although he held a good spirit in his actions. Out of everyone here thus far - Kosan seemed to be the best candidate, but he was rough around the edges.

As Kosan saw Grougaloragran get hit he took out his sword again and he charged at the boar that had higher HP . He tried to inflict as much damage as possible . He wanted to get the boars down enough for the other 2 players to finish them .. he wasn't so "Scared" because of those weak boars .. For him it was like he played a game on Easy... "Gourgaloragran , Are you okay there pal ?" he asked as he started charging at the boar with Full HP , hitting him straight inflicting some serious damage as he jumped back helping Grougaloragran get up ... "Here you go , now both boars are all yours guys ... They have really low HP , so it will be easy for you to end them , okay ?" he said as he shealthed his sword and sat down on the grass ... "If you need any help , just tell me ." he said as he smiled.

Manta continued to look around through the forest, especially around the trees. She wanted to find some more herbs. It wasnt as easy as she had thought it would be. Maybe battling would be better. But she wasnt in the mood for a fight. She continued to search in the under brush before coming accross a group of mushrooms. She cut them at the stem but was dissapointed when she didnt recieve any materials.

As Ren sighed seeing a few Boars left, two in fact he yawned abit at the dilemma he was in, as he had lost some of his HP, he rushed in before as that was a bad idea, he needed to think clearly about this and looked at Kosan. "Yeah Im fine, but we need to think about this, two on one is the way to go, over take in one feel swoop." He said as he rubbed the back of his neck with his free hand and sighed, "What a drag." He said in a bit of a mellow toned of voice, as he looked at the first boar, and scratching his red hair, "Well your mine piggy." He said in his New York accent and walked up to it going for a slash.

And a failed attempt is what he got, as the Boar hit him with its tusk, now his Hp was one point lower than last time, and he sighed. "Lovely, I think I will try some gathering instead, combat... not my style right now." He said as he backed away and let Kosan do the battling until he got some kind of goodies to help him out in the long run, some armor or a new sword would be nice. Ren kept his distance as the Boar grunted at him and turned to Kosan and then went after him.

Finally the group seemed to pick up again. Good, this was good. Mari pulled out her dagger - heading over to a pile of rocks. Passing Jacob she gave him a warm smile as she affectionately brushed her hand through his hair. "You're doing fine." She said to him in a warm voice. She headed toward a pile of rocks. She hit one of them with a dagger, and it exploded into nothing. Sighing Mari stood up, keeping an eye on the rest of the guild members. They were all active, doing well - but they were making slow progress material wise. Mari bit her lower lip. 

"mmm..." She cleared her throat, raising her voice so they all could hear. "Let's pick up the pace - we can do better than this."

As Ren sheathed his sword, seeing how he wasn't doing much damage at all, he went to looking about in the rocks near him, and trying to find any type of ore or something to give him a material to hand over. As this was something he was rather new at, though he didn't mind finding, all he wanted was to be somewhat useful to the guild in any shape or form, even if it was to take on a extra pair of hands, or even a material gatherer. As Ren did have a profession, nor was he going to waist his time on one, but yet he kinda needed some kind of way in bringing Col if he wanted to survive in SAO, as he looked around he found nothing, absolutely nothing, and with that he turned to his Guild Leader and shrugged his shoulders, "I'm useless here ma'am." He said in a jokey yet true voice as he talked about himself here in this situation, he was no good in fighting or getting materials, he was more of a liability than any help.

Mari yawned, and stretched. The group had moved slowly. Very slowly. It was a shame. She wanted to have twice as many materials as she did now. Perhaps she would organize another material run soon; sometime after the next guild meeting. She stood up straight and arched her back, then cracked her neck. Mari was still in a relatively good mood. So for her,despite not reaching the guild's goals. The day was not a total loss.

Mari gave Goug a small smile, "It's fine - it seems everyone fell a tad short today. We all have our bad days. Today was just one of them."  

Mari turned her attention to the group, clapping her hands loudly to get everyone's attention; she rose her voice, and cleared her throat.

"Right. I'm calling it a day. I need to escort the Militant Sect tomorrow; and unlike all of you; I don't get the peaceful sleep of a nice bed at an inn. So in total we gathered 6 Materials. This isn't quite enough to divvy out so I am placing them all into guild storage. I'll organize a new Material hunt very soon, and we will add that 6 to our total at the end of that day."

She paused, not sure what else to say, she decided to end the day on a positive note. "Overall this was a first outing for many of you - and you didn't die, we got some materials, and that's better than nothing." It wasn't the most....rousing speech, nor the most comforting, but Mari wasn't very good at either of those things. She scooted the guild members away then turned on her heel and left.



Tomorrow, would be another long day.
