<<Long Live The Queen>>
This Repeatable quest takes place on Floor 2
 

Word from the Information Brokers speaks of a hidden respawning Field Boss on Floor 2. A small party reported having farmed the <<Wind Wasps>> found throughout the fields awakened a hidden Field Boss. This monster, identified as <<Wind Wasp Queen>>, proved to be a dangerous opponent for the relatively low leveled party, and dropped a powerful Alchemical Potion.


This RP will not count in the benchmark
Requirement:
The Wasp Queen must be defeated, Maximum Party Size of 3
At least two [2] Pages
Rewards:

1. <<The Matriarch's Stinger>> This incredibly potent venom can be applied to a weapon to provide an additional +1 damage for the duration of one battle.
2. 3 Skill Points

<The Wasp Queen> is a respawning Field Boss and has the following statistics:
HP: 30
Damage per Attack: 2

Parties or Groups of low level players are encouraged.
You are free to control the Wasp Queen yourself, however she must be Rp'd responsibly.

Note: While you may repeat this Quest as many times as you like, the 3 Skill Point reward will only be obtained on the first completion of the Quest. Repeat completions will only yield <<The Matriarch's Stinger>>

Manta waited on the edge of the fields for Sousuke. She didn't need him there for the quest, ever since she had gotten her new gear she had felt like a bad-a**. She could definitely take a mob with a measly 30 hp. The point was, she had raised her evasion so high that most mobs couldn't touch her. She just danced circles around them. And with her accuracy buffs and new sword, she was pretty much golden. The point was that although she didn't need him there, she wanted him there. She always had a great time when he was around. Which was fortunate, given the fact that she was in love with him.

Sousuke being the show off he was began to work his way into the fields trying to look as awesome as he could his coat billowing in the wind behind him and his blade drawn and held loosely at his side. He was to protect Manta his most beloved on a quest that she wanted to complete. The fortunate thing was that Sousuke needed to beat this quest also and wanted to help out as best he could. He didn't want to endanger his 'wife to be' and so offered to tag along and had said yes which made him happy. He approached his girlfriend and greeted her with a kiss. ''Where to honey?'' he asked

She watched as Sousuke made his way through the feild towards her, trying to look awesome. In reality, with the sun bright in the sky, and beatiful flowers all over the place, he really looked silly just for the fact that he was trying to look bad-a**. "That's very punny." Manta said, laughing at what her boyfriend had said.. She knew he probably hadn't meant to make a pun, but he had all the same. They were going after a bee. Honey... Get it? "You got the quest info, right?" Anticipating a yes she pulled out her own sword, aptly named the Star Blade. It was called that because when one looked at the blade they could almost see stars in the reflection. She equipped her daedric armor, and then the coat from Sousuke over it. Lastly she equipped her new gauntlets. "Just wait till you see me using these..." She said cockily.

Sousuke watched as she equipped a lot of armour and almost sweat dropped h was wearing a tranch coat a black shirt and blue jeans in comparison to what she was wearing however as a soldier he aimed to go  for manuverability over protection. ''You look nice and I have o admit that stuff is pretty impressive but can you keep up.'' he said winking to her while eyeing her up hungrily. He wanted to protect and at the same time do things to her that should never be mentioned either way he took her hand and lead the way into the fields.

"You should try it Sousuke. This armor doesn't limit my speed, it improves it!" She noticed him eyeing her and was reminded of a few nights ago when they had gone a bit far. She winked at him and walked into the feild beside him, easily keeping pace with him. Just to show off, she did a perfectly controlled quadruple somersault beside him before landing on her feet. "It's called acrobatics. You should try it sometime." She wondered if he possibly had the skill. She eentually decided that he probably didn't. He was more of the high health points high damage type of player. She reached bck over and held his hand, leaning in close to him comfortably. They would be reaching the spot presently, but she was going to enjoy the walk while she could.

Sousuke watched her do some crazy summersaults and laughed as she was slightly out of breath from the show. He was the athletic type and it showed, he didn't need to do fancy flips he could use hios military expertise to just roll out of the way or even scale large enemies with ease. ''Gotta admit babe that's a nice trick there but im fitter.'' he said winking to her with a cocky smile he knew all to well she would probably call him a show off or something as he rapped on his chest as she took his hand.

"That might be true, but I could still beat you in a duel!" She said jokingly as they finally made it to the boss. There was a loud buzzing noise, which lasted for a few seconds before a large bee spawned right in front of them. Manta motioned her arm towards thw bee. "Heres your chance to prove how fit you really are." She said, allowing him the honor of first hit.

Sousuke stepped forward his weapon drawn and looked at Manta with a dark smile only seen on his face during battles. ''The honour is all mine.'' he said as the wasp queen dive bombed him. He side stepped with little effort whilst swinging his sword in a horizontal fashion and slicing right through the boss with less effort than the side step took.

5147 Bd: 2 MD: 10 (Not very lucky today, am I) Manta realized that it was now her turn and readjusted her grip on her weapon. She charged the bee queen only to recieve a stinger in the shoulder, sending her flying back onto the ground. The wasp queen had shot her stinger straight at her. It was the sort of thing she should have been able to dodge. She hadnt been expecting it though. "Im fine Sousuke!" She called out, getting back on her feet. Sousuke:31/31 Manta: 15/17 (-4(+2 damage mit)= 2 Wasp Queen: 26/30

Sousuke watched as Manta flew back from the hit and ran over to her helping her up and nodded when she said she was ok as long as she was alright then that was all that mattered. Sousuke then ran forward aiming straight for the wasp queen when it shot its stinger at him this time. Sousuke jumped into the air and then used the stinger to propel himself further into the aim with a single forward summersault he can slamming back to the ground with a vertical slash hitting the wap queen clean down the middle. ''Manta Switch!.'' he called as he retreated back to a defensive position.

5168 Bd: 8 (4 to hit) Md: 7 ( 9 to hit) Manta switched out with Sousuke, performing a triple front flip and then a slash downwards. She landed on her feet and leaped at the wasp queen, slashing left and right. "Switch." She said retreating backwards before the wasp queen could fire the stinger at her. "How about whoever does less damage has to do what the other person say to for a day!" She suggested. Manta: 15/17 Sousuke: 31/31 Wasp Queen: 18/30

Sousuke laughed when she said if someone did the most damage the other had to do what they wanted for a day. ''Sure your on, sounds fun anyway.'' he said with a wink and rushed the wasp queen down aiming to do as much damage as possible. In his excitement though he got knocked of his feet in to air. In a very comical fashion he came flying past Manta and for a split second time slowed down. Sousuke was mid flight arms crossed pouting while doing a side flip after being rocketed through the air before crashing into the floor next to Manta. he got up and brushed himself off and simply said. ''Switch''

Manta grinned back at him and laughed out loud as he flew through the air making a pouty face. She walked up to the Wasp Queen, blocking the next stinger attack with her sword. She jumped forward and swung her sword but the wasp queen buzzed out of range. She followed her, swinging her sword berserkly, trying to get a single hit in but failing. The wasp queen continued to attack her but she dodged it. "A little help here Sousuke? Ill hold it's attention and then you stab it!" She frowned and lunged forwards again. She missed and the wasp queen backed up again.

Sousuke ran forward and leapt over Manta doing a forward summersault driving the wasp queen into the ground with severe force. He stepped away frustrated that his bleed effect had not activated and watched as four points of health were knocked off of the health bar. He allowed the wasp queen to recover from the hit and stood next to Manta in a defensive stance waiting for her next attack. ''All yours babe.'' he said with a grin.

Manta waited for Sousukes attack and then launched one of her own, spinning her sword in the air and slicing up the wasp queens stomach. The wasp queen dived towards her brandishing its razor sharp stinger, But manta was too fast and moved out of the way, slicing the stinger off in the process. It didn't matter what happened, she would still win the competition. She had said whoever did more damage. Not necessarily to the wasp queen. Sousuke did 4 damage, and she did 5. She was already brainstorming what she could make him do. "Switch!" She called out light heartedly.

Sousuke watched Mantas attack and realised exactly what Manta had meant she was referring to this turn which meant he had lost and now had to o what she said for a day. He shook his head and grinned to himself. She was a sneaky one secretly didn't mind doing what she wanted for a day in fact he was quite excited about it. He jumped forward the moment she shouted switch and went to work. Exept all he did was faceplant the ground tripping up over his own feet.

Manta sighed when he randomly fell on his face. She was sure he was fine but she wanted to make sure. "Are you all right Sousuke?" She asked before jumping and slicing into the Wasp queen's side. The queen retaliated and her newly regrown stinger shot out and impaled her in the side, sending her back onto the ground. The stinger didn't dissapear as before. Instead it stayed there, impaling her into the ground in such a way that she couldn't get up. She anticipated Sousuke running over to help her so she spoke up. "Im fine. Switch" She said as she reached over to pull it out.

Sousuke managed to get back to his feet in time to see Manta impaled by the wasp queen and stuck to the ground struggling to pull the stinger from her body. She called out that she was ok but her struggling indicated otherwise. Seeing he in such a situation caused an immense amount of worry and anger to flare up inside of him. He rushed over to her aid and pulled the stinger out of her as her wounds began to heal and turned to face the wasp queen. ''You ... Will ... PAY FOR THAT!'' he screamed and rushed the wasp queen starting up a crazy combo which literally tore the thing to shreds leaving nothing but a cloud of sparkling pixels where it once was. He stood there panting and fell to his knees his emotions overwhelming him as he tried to calm his self. He looked at his hands and could see him self shaking.

Manta stood up and made her way over to him. She was glad that he cared so much about her, but she wasnt in any real danger so she didnt understand why he had freaked out. She sat down beside him and pulled him into a hug. She could feel him shaking. "Im fine Sousuke." She said, continueing to hug him gently.
