(PP-F1) A fated meeting (Rolland & Susano) (Complete)

Rolland helped Susano up the branch, but this time, he didn't use as much strength as last time, with his last pull he got her up and as her knees made contact, he let go allowing her to get up the rest of the way. He turned about and saw the field in a better light, as he turned his head he saw Susano behind him, "So tell me, what do you see out here?" He asked her as he turned, letting her walk past him to view the field, as he kept his balance quite well this time, keeping an eye on Susano in case she lsot her balance he would help her, but until then, he kept his hands in his pocket.

As she was pulled up once again she would grab ahold of some of the branches overhead in order to keep her balance while walking past her companion to see the fields of SAO in all its beauty. Making her way to an opening in branches she would lean forward ever so slightly both her legs spread out onto two braches while one arm gripped down on another branch below giving her rather excellent blance and the final reaching up to hold yet another so she was in no fear of falling. Her pose much like that of a jungle cat's stance. Her skirt barely hiding her white undergarments. "It's goregous." She gawked looking out into the field completely forgetting the life and death peril that she was going to face every day in this world

Rolland looked at Susano as examined her pose, as he saw she had excellent balance, and then his eyes drifted downward and he quickly looked away avoiding the view he almost saw. He turned his head and walked to the based of the trunk and drew his Bloodskal Blade and slammed it in the base of the tree using it as a counter balance in case he fell. He would have something to grab onto, he closed his eyes and let out a nice long relaxing yawn, as this felt nice, "So Susano, mind tell me what you see, and you might need to pull your skirt down I almost saw something I didn't need to see." He said as he saw being honest about himself, and the situation at hand.

Enjoying the view from the tree she would continue to perch upon the three branches each supporting its own fraction of her wait. Almost forgetting that she was no longer alone in hese situations and nodded as she understood the first part about to speak when his words caugh up with her. Blushing a deep tomato red, she would resiuate herself quickly seeing how relaxed and laid back he was after informing her that he had almost seen up her skirt which was what she was afraid was going to happen when they first climbed the tree. "Why were you looking!" She howled like one of the earlier slain wolves as she hopped over to the branch he was supported by placing one arm firly beside his head so that when she delivered her smack his  body would be supported by her other arm having the foresight to keep him from falling out of the tree.

The feeling of her hand hitting his face, Rolland grabbed her hand and looked at her, "No I almost saw, that's why I was telling you pull it down so i wouldn't." He said using his hand to stop her from slapping him again. "I'm sorry just don't hit me again." He said as he got up, let of of Susano's hand, pulling his blade out of the tree and climbing to the next level to escape her wrath, as he didn't mean to look, it was something he couldn't help but see, as he now was on the upper branch above her, and walked it as he was cat like in nature. His sword now dragging along the branch, cutting into it, and he finally sat down and looked towards the field as he let Susano cool down before he said anything again.

"All I see is jerk and a bunch of monsters that need to be slain by me," she pouted as she began her decent to the base of the tree unwilling to continue her assault and her companion. Reaching the lowest branch she would stop and pull up her legs as a child would trying to hide her displeasure. "Stupid Susano why did you have to be the first one to use the nerve gear you had to be stubborn." She mumbled hardly audiable to a layer above let alone two or three. Balancing her shoes feet would whole body would now be leaning against the trunk of the tree and the branch that was holding her up. Both her arms now wrapped about her legs as she laid her head against them sleepily. Her body shivering just a tad from the breeze whipping past

Rolland sighed, got up and jumped from each branch before reaching Susano, as he pulled out a jacket for her to wear, "Here, it's getting cold, I'm going... ah crap." he said as he looked down and saw two wolfs down below him, they weren't looking at him, but they were walking around. "Great, just what I need, you stay here, I'll take care of them." He said, still abit steamed that Susano hit him, but not to were he didn't care for her safety, as suddenly flipped the hood up on his coat. And opened his HUD, and a flash of blue appeared within the coat, something came on his face, but the large hood prevented Susano from seeing, as he jumped into the air, he roared. He went for the first wolf he saw and tried to kill it off.

Rolland landed and a could of dirt and dust filled the air.his sword held in one hand, as he didn't hit anything, and the two wolf's growled at him one suddenly started backing away as something was scaring it. Rolland kept his back to Susano as his aura changed to a darker one, and both wolf's began to back up, but one decided to charge at him to only miss him and slide away, and ran from the area, Rolland now having one Wolf to deal with he began walking towards the wolf as this one held its ground unlike the one from before, His hood still up, and his coat fluttering in the wind.

Curled up she would listen as she heard the branches above her begin to creek do to her companions sudden descent to meet with her. Feeling bad for slapping him she was about to say something when he spoke up offering her a coat before being interrupted by the view of two wolves below them. Completely ignorant of their approach she sat their a bit shocked the coat being place around her. Eyes now focused upon the wolves and her companion who had swung down to fight them both off. I should help him out, looking to her hp gauge she frowned realizing that she might not make if if she did. Darn it why am I so useless, her fingers clenching tightly upon the opposite arm as she stood up placing the jacket she was offered back on. She would stand watching down till she heard the man roar rather fiercly. "What the?" clinging to the branch above her she decided that it would be safer to remain out of this combat.

As his last attack failed, and he tried for a killing shot, he was unsuccessful with the second wolf gone, and Susano still in the tree, he held his blade, and glared at the first wolf. As he saw it backing away, "Run from me, don't even try it." He said, as his voice was deeper now, muffled by the item on his face, Susano couldn't see it because he had his back to her. He rushed at the wolf and went for another swing, as he saw it lung at him as well.

Nothing hit the wolf, but the same feeling as before hit him, as the wolf had his hand in it's mouth, he growled and brought his arm up and tossed the wolf off him, as a flash of silver came from under his mask, as he turned his body towards the tree, he then pulled the hood forward abit more, to cover the mask on his face. As the wolf growled at him, he placed the Bloodskal Blade upon his right shoulder and looked at the situation at hand.

Watching the fight was quite shocking to her as both the wolves and Rolland kept lunging and swinging at one another catching nothing but air and the ground. She was felling slightly useless and would now pull out her own sword preparing to lunge down to help him in the fight. Gently touching down she would now be standing a few meters behind Rolland and say, "I'm not going to just let you have all the fun with this battle.Swinging her blade once again she aimed for the wolves head her blade glancing through the wolf's side as she hadn't quite oriented herself properly. The wolf growled taking a snap as it felt her blad slice its pelt, Susano quickly ducking back out from the wolf's lunge. Once again putting herself behind Rolland so the wolf would focus upon her again.

As Roland swung at the first wolf and missed, he heard Susano hop from the tree down and attack the wolf he was targeting, he sighed and pulled his blade up, as he heard the second wolf coming back to the battle. His mask scared it off the first time, but now it had returned, Rolland couldn't see where it was at, and as such he didn't bother with it, as he went after the first one, he swung his blade at it.

 

Edit:

As he tried getting close to the first wolf, the second one lept from the bushes, Rolland, immediately swiped his blade in the direction of the wolf, in a graceful manner. As he did the wolf's body suddenly split down the middle and landed with a poof it was gone, Rolland turned to Susano, as his hood kept his face hidden and the mask, until the breeze blew the top flap up abit. Revealing a silver like mask, one that had grey designs in it, and slots for his eyes, as he sighed and pointed at the other wolf, "Kill it, and lets get a move on." He said to her, his voice deeper now.

Watching Rolland cleave the other wolf asunder with his strange grey mask, Susano began to grow worried about the company she had been keeping despite the kindness that he had already shown her in her first fight. Reading her sword for another sing she would acknowledge his remark in slaying the final wolf that stood in the way of her. The wolf let out a wounded howl beforebeing cleaved through the chest by her sword. Panting heavily as the pixels about her burst forth with yet another wolf dead. Pulling herself back up she would smile as she looked back to Rolland her tongues sticking out, "See I can handle myself out in this forest." It was rather childish of her but she was on a mission to prove her worth as a femal gamer and now she was able to say that she was able to beat a wolf solo without taking any damage from it. Not acknowledging that she had picked up another item.

As the battle finished, and Susano beating the wolf, Rolland quickly unequipped his mask, as he didn't need it any more. He sheathed his Bloodskal Blade and stretched his arms, "*Yawn* Well that was fun, haven't had an enemy try a sneak attack like that ever." He said as his Boy-lolito voice came back, and he looked at Susano, "So where to now?" He asked her, taking his hood down and looking at her with his now sapphire blue eyes.

"It isn't common for the wolves to sneak up on you?" Questioning this as she wasn't quite sure what to expect from this death game as she primarily was sitting in the plaza for a short period of time not truly believing that this was life. The constant voice cracking made her giggle and wish to ask him what the issue was about it, but she assumed that he would rather not speak about it as it probably was nature taking its natural course through puberty. "Would you prefer we continue training or would you be up for just ending our little encounter with a couple of drinks?"

Rolland looked at Susano, and smiled, "Well some drinks would be great, I think abit if alcohol would do wonders for the body, but lets try to be reasonable." "Shall we head back then?" He asked as he held out his hand and pointed at Susanos HUD, "Did you by chance get anything from that kill?" He asked her, knowing that she had to have at least gotten something from the kills, he knows that much.

Susano chuckled at Rollands response of going out to the bar and getting a couple of drinks, "I hope you aren't getting any ideas I would hate to feel that you are trying anything especially after the beating you got in the tree." Smirking she would tap on her own heads up display amused by his persistence in the matter of what she received in the loot drops. Her left hand would rise up to activate her HUD. The display would pull up her inventory and tap on the display to view some of the treasures she got. Looks to me like I received some dark leather armor and a sword to boot. "The maelstrom sword and shadow incantation armor. Looks neat."

Rolland looked at Susano after her comment, "No I'm not, I wouldn't try that either, I'm only getting a few drinks since I am such a nice guy in helping you out, I think I need a drink is all." He said as he then heard her say some new gear she got, "Well glad to hear it, keep by you until you become stronger, and when the time comes, pass it along to some one else who will need them more than you." He said as he yawned and stretched, as his gaze turned towards the town, "Come on lets get going." He said getting behind Susano and playfully pushing her to get her a going, as he had a grin on his face and was giggling the entire time he was getting her to move.

As he justified his reasoning for the alcoholic beverages she grinned understanding full well what he actually meant by it in the first place. As he spoke the words of wisdom, passing down the armor and weapon she had received she spoke, "You can be sure of that, I can't let all those other newbies at this game live out their lives without being properly prepared." Staring back at her HUD she wondered if these type of items drops were going to get more effective on her way up through the ranks. Twirling her hand through the menus she would begin to enjoy using the display that this game had designed, far more entertaining then the rest as it appeared just like a holographic display from all those scifi videos that they would run. Sighing a small frown hardly noticeable to her companion would cross he face before she was pushed from behind to get a move on it. "I have feet you know that I can walk on! You don't have to go pushing me about ... sheesh," she whined a bit annoyed. "The least you could do is act a bit more gentleman-like and carry me. You remind me of my brothers."

Rolland stopped and looked at Susano, "You have a siblings as well?" "And carry you, if you wanted that all you had to do is ask me." He said as he walked around her, and  bent down, towards her legs. "If you want me to say so, and i will." He said as he then gave a smile, "So tell me, whats your brothers like?" He asked her still waiting for her to give him the actual permission to do so, even though she said he could have, doesn't mean he should do it without her permission.

Watching him step around and crouch before her Susano was a bit embarrassed that he was actually calling her out on her offer."Not like this I was just saying if you are in such a hurry then you could pick me up as oppose to pushing me about like some object meant for unlocking a puzzle. Crossing her arms she would turn around looking back out to the field deciding to throw a minor fit about the whole scenario.
