SP-F2 Hunting and Training.

London sheathed his rapier. He walked over to a tree, stopping halfway to look over his shoulder to double check that there were no enemies coming to face him. He looked forward against and went to the nearest tree, turning as he hit it leaning and slumping down to the ground. He wasn't used to this training yet and fighting yet. He would be able to have enough stamina and willpower to finish any battle sure, but it was after the battle that worried him. He needed to build up his stamina, to get rid of this after-battle fatigue. It could prove to be troublesome in the near future if he didn't start. He needed to recalled parts of the battle in his mind, working on new stratagems in case he falls in the same situation again. He shook his head as he recalled parts of his form falling part or his footwork not being precise and perfect. He needed to train and get stronger. He wouldn't be able to lead or protect if he kept this weakness of body.

London's breathing calmed a bit. He looked down at his armor. This armor is becoming rather useful....I should have been, taking damages through the battle into account, at around 10 to 9 hp at the end of that little ambush. This armor essentially is it's own healing potion....What's the catch. It's title is "The Armor of Sinning"...that already has a dubious name as it is. That's not already taking into account it's somewhat dark or even demonic appearance. London thought about it for a bit, recalling any time the armor gave him any heals during battle or well, used life steal. Anytime I landed a devestating or killing blow was generally when it happened....Maybe it's because the act of killing is considered by some a sin in religion...maybe it's trying to reward me for dealing heavy damage or lethal damage. If that's true then it's going to be sorely mistaken. I won't kill unless I have to...that or if it's a mob, which is just AI so there is no moral repercussions for killing a bandit, or a boar, or something like that. They were made here, not trapped here like us. I'm also a duelist, I at least try to end any fight I get into at soon as possible. It's generally how single target dpses work in mmos but in a real combat sense it still makes sense to do that when you're using a 1 on 1 dueling weapon.

London stood up again. Might as well get some training in, I need to get better. He drew his rapier, frowning slightly, he really did need to get a new one. He took his stance and began to thrust at the air, shuffling back and forth to try and work on his footwork. He continued this for a good while, the sound of birds began to return and they resumed their songs. London continued his footwork and thrusts, parrying and riposting against invisible blades. Whenever he messed up he put down his rapier and do pushups, he continued these exercises, hoping that they would help although he had doubts in his mind that they really weren't doing anything which was incredibly likely given his actual body wasn't doing this. Maybe I can get the placebo effect to work...that's all I'm banking on right now.

London continued this for around an hour or so and decided to lean against his tree again. He rested a bit, letting his breathing calm again. He cycled through his inventory. He took out his contra bass and bow. I really need to get a bass guitar...this bass is getting cumbersome. He played some melodies, fitting in with the bird's singing. They seemed to like it since they began to sing louder and harmonized and sang melodies that complimented his own solo. He smiled, he enjoyed playing and the scenery.

He continued to play for a while and finally finished. He put the bass away. He leaned against the tree again, it was turning out to maybe not be such a bad day after all. The birds were singing, the scenery was nice, and he killed 3 wolfs all coming at him at the same time. Naturally, this wasn't the case. Shortly after he was finished playing and had a moment of rest, a player-esque mob appeared from behind the tree. It snickered saying "Nice playing there, now, your money or your life." the man said as it unsheathed a dagger, holding a bag in it's off hand. Bandit....typical. London stood and unsheathed his rapier and went on guard. Knowing the bandit would attack anyways he decided to be a bit smug about it and say "Oh please, quit it your sinister bravado, it's rather boring." And with the bandit launched himself forward prematurely stabbing the air. "Hmhp..."London grunted as he easily ran forward, dodging the blade and running his own against the bandit's side in a draw cut. He turned and held his rapier up again in guard. Pathetic....telegraphing so early....

The bandit yelled "Ah!" as it was sliced, he took a moment to examine his wounds. Smart AIs in term of actual radiance...their combat is rather stupid right now but later on they might actually be a threat... London thought as he waited. London had more honor than to stab someone in the back, even if it was just a mob in a video game. He knew how it felt and personally, he wasn't a fan. He saw his opportunity to kill the bandit and turned it away. It may give him a chance to hone his skills against something with a sword in it's hand, or at the very least a dagger. Wolves were nice and all, he thought, but he seriously doubted that the game would only consist of bestial creatures and monsters. The bandit's smirk had disappeared and it turned, already dropping it bag on the ground, it clenched his dagger tighter and launched himself forward, screaming. He attempted to slash at London, to which London easily took a backstep, dodging the strike and lunged forward, stabbing the bandit's chest, moving fluidly as usual. The bandit let out another grunt in pain as it stumbled back and London got into his stance again ready to keep the pressure on the bandit and hopefully ending this before his friends show up. It was very doubtful that this bandit worked alone, if it did, it was most likely the leader and this would be a very underwhelming fight.

The bandit glared at London, examining him, attempting to find an opening. London speededly took a false step forward and tempted the bandit with the point of his blade, almost taunting him as he feinted his blade back and forth, teasing the bandit that stood before him. The Bandit became jumpy at all this foolery, the bandit attempted to throw his blade upward in an attempt to parry one of London's feints. London saw this and took a step forward and scolded him with his blade and a quick cut to the bandit's right shoulder. The bandit winched for a moment and then decided to kick a rock in the air, which didn't seem to acheive anything. London was focused on the bandit and the bandit alone. The bandit launched inwards, kicking up some leaves and dirt, making a small cloud of dust before London, blinding him for half a moment as he swatted at the air, attempting to regain his vision. The bandit smirked as it leaped in, driving his dagger into London's side, penetrating the armor. Barely, but successfully. London let another "Gah!" escape his mouth as he elbowed the Bandit in the face with his pommel, effectively breaking the nose of the bandit if it were an actual human being. None the less, it would cause great pain. The bandit stumbled back and fell down held his nose. London ripped the dagger from his side and threw it the bandit, missing but landing ominiously close to the bandits face as he got into stance, taking a moment to recover from the awful blow to his side.

The bandit scurryed backward, groping for his knife in the dirt. He hand touchs it and then he rips it and kicks backwards towards a tree, weary. The bandit's eyes are showing signs of fear, almost pleading for mercy. His whole body is shaking, blood running from his nose and recent wounds. Words do not leave his mouth but as London advanced with his metalic point glaring towards the bandit the bandit started to viciously shake his head and hold his hand left hand out, waving it. Assumingly begging for mercy. London breathed a bit as glared at the bandit, words not leaving his mouth. "Get up." London ordered. The bandit closing his eyes and furiously shaking his head.

London said again, his tone sharpining. "Get. Up." The bandit slowly moved his way up the bark, breathing, blood beginning to run through his fingers and covering his hand. His dagger rocking and then falling from his hand. The bandit desperately attempted to go for it but London moved forward slightly and the bandit froze errect once more, shivering. London looked the bandit up and down. "Go." London said. The bandit opened his eyes for a moment shocked to hear this. London swung his tip to the side. "Go," He said once more. "Get out of here before I change my mind." He lowered his sword. The bandit slowly went for his dagger. "Leave the knife." London ordered. The bandit oblidged and began to limp out of the area. Only moments out of view, was the bandit when a brown and gray blur flashed through the woods and pounced, bitting into the bandit, knocking him into the air as he turned the same sickly shade of blue as the rest of the monsters due and shattered. London instantly held up his sword at the beast that stood before him. It was bigger than the average wolf, and obviously faster and more vicious. He began to have doubts of more bandits showing up, they were probably already killed by this thing. It was obviously the alpha of the wolf pack he butchered earlier. Probably attempting to succed where his brothers failed. It growed and snarled as it lowered it's head and began to advance towards London slowly.

London got into his usual stance, leaning back. His sword was steady and shined slightly from it's black finish. His hand was besides his chest, almost resembling a cobra as he batted the wolf, whom viciously obliged by darting forward at remarkable speeds, fitting boss levels. He saw this coming of course as he was watching the wolf's feet. The moment it digged into the dirt and kicked up it's cloud of dust he jumped to the side and stabbed towards the blur, stopping it in it's track and as the wolf flew. Gravity removed the beast from his blade as it hit the ground slidding, hitting against a tree. Leaves falling unto it's body and a couple of twigs hitting it's hide. It got up, a deep pericing marked it's hide, bleeding. A flow of red energy was also learched towards London and spread and concentrated to his recent wound. Healing him. He bowed at the wolf, smirking and got back into stance. He was toying with it. Perhaps a bit arrogant in doing so but he had his reasons. An enraged mind and a hurt body may lead to a hasty feet, which leads to a hasty end.

The wolf barked at London's teasing. It did as London perdicted and launched itself at London, becoming a blur again, and launching off the ground. A trail of dust and leaving being thrown into the air in it's wake. It pounced and rammed into London, sending them both flying back as it bit into his chest, the armor giving just enough protection. London kicked off the creature and attempted to slash at the wolf. Who easily dashed away. I deserved that one...How is it this fast? I'm going to have watch it closely if I want to kill this thing before it kills me. London thought to himself, any form of foolhardiness has been quickly extinquished. This creature was going to be a serious threat. The wolf's wound let out some more pixilated blood, it's leg giving of a slight twitch at this. London examined this and now knew excatly where to strike. It'd be better to disable the wolf and the ram his blade through it's skull. Catching it as it is right now would prove to be quite the challange.

The alpha wolf barked at London, it's walnut fur and silver underbelly was quite the sight, shimering when it bolted across the terrian and became nothing more than a blur. It would be a fine pelt and beautiful material. Maybe I should bring this to Oikawa....He's into wolves more than I am. He'd appreciate that pelt. London thought. Then, the alpha growled and leaned before launching itself once more, London dodged out of the way the moment he saw the wolf disappear. Bearly making it out of the way in time as the wolf flew past him and landed. Skidding on the ground, sending leaves and twigs flying as it drifted to turn and face London once more, snarling and barking at him as it growled in underlying tones of feriocity. Ready to rip out London's throat the moment it had a good hold on him. It's eye twitched as it was hit by the last point of bleed damage.

London glared at the wolf and rushed towards it, attempting to close the distance and maybe turn it onto it's back, rendering it harmless for the moment while he would stab it in the Alpha Wolf's torso. Unfourtuantly, as he ran towards the wolf, waiting for the beast to strike, he heard a snap in the woods. Quite nearby and perhaps alarming. He gave it a quick glance to make sure he didn't have any more company and that he didn't have another pack member to deal with. Nothing, must have been just an ambient squrill or something stepping on a twig. He was rudely inturputed when he was launched into the air again from a headbutt from the wolf. The world seemed to go into slow-motion for half a moment as he turned back towards the wolf to see it burrowing it's head against his stomach. He was send flying and hit and skid across the ground. London got up and inspected himself, after struggling to get up for a moment. He had nothing more than the wind knocked out of him, or at least, that's all he cared to see since it's been proven that if he gave even a moments glance away from the beast, couple prove much deadlier.

London stood errect for a moment. He then thought of something and lowered himself slightly, bending his knees and getting into a stance that isn't what he's studied in his fencing manual. He waited on the wolf glaring at the wolf with death in his eyes, staring back into the cold, pupiless coal black eyes of the wolf returning the stare. He batted the wolf. The wolf decided to induldge into it's instinct and took the bait, rushing in. London waited a split second before throwing his knee up, smashing his knee into the bottom jaw of the wolf, stopping it from it's blur, knocking it's head back. The wolf fell to the ground like rocks in a pool and London saw this and stabbed his rapier directly into the chest of the Alpha. Unfortuantly, not killing the wolf but severly wounding it. The alpha wolf yelped at this. London withdrew the blade from the wolf and a red flow of energy leached from the blade into his armor, speading to his wounds, healing them. A trikle of blood flowing out of wolf. London backed up and waited for the wolf to stand, it was normal again. It wouldn't be able to dash after that kind of attack. London thought.

London looked down at the wolf, it limped up, it's legs spasming and shaking rapidly from it's intensive wound. He decided to watch it suffer and bleed while it attempted to stand and fight as usual, whimpering. "How quickly the wolf becomes nothing more than a snivling pup..." London said aloud, not caring that it couldn't understand him. He wanted to watch the wolf die and bleed, to feel writhing pain. Why? Because it killed the bandit whom was given another chance. As comedically it happened, he was still killed. Regardless if it was a actual player or not. The wolf breathed harshly, panting, from it's wounds. It winched once more as another part of it's precious health bar is sliced off, leaving only 3 small slivers left.

London watched the wolf, dropping his guard. Which was an obvious mistake. The wolf stood once more and strengthed itself, stabalizing. It then lunged forward. London didn't move, he thought the wolf wouldn't make it past a couple of feet. He was wrong. The wolf barely made it and clawed at London's shin. London moved back and closed an eye at the small pain. It was annoying but it didn't hurt too bad, just a little time and he'll be fine again. London couldn't help but smile, beginning to let out a low, dark sounding giggle. To any other person, this would be extremely unsettling but this wolf didn't know any better so it didn't take much of it. The wolf winced once more shaking off the bleed effect but collpasing to the ground after it's attack.

London gazed down at the creature. "Pitiful..." London muttered allowed. "Not such a threat when you're lying on the ground, gasping at the last few breaths before I rip them from you. Aren't you?" London monolouged for a moment. The wolf in response just rolled it's head on the ground. That last attack robbed it of the remaining of it's strength and the beast is now lying on the ground, wheezing and whimpering. London raised his rapier point, a the trees reflecting on it's smooth surface, aimed striaght at the Alpha's heart. "Sleep thee well, for your band of rebels diverging from the animal kingdom is in need of a new king." He finished, stabbing the rapier into the beast's chest, piercing it's heart. Although he spoke poeticly he was still harsh in his words towards the creature. The wolf yelped and wavered before exploding into the sickly blue shards.

London stood there silent for a moment. He looked back and forth to see if there was anyone there or any new threats to be dealt with. There was none. London raised his sword and turned it, gently sheathing it into it's scabbard. London sighed, there there was only so much he could do. He needed to kill things like that faster, more effeciently. How was he going to be of any name here if he didn't? That bandit could one day have been a close friend I sent out to go to retreat from a battle and ended up dying due to my orders. If that was a close friend in the future, their blood be on my hands. Can digital hands be forever painted red? I wonder.... London thought.

London began to walk, the only sound being his footsteps crunching on twigs and leaves. Songbirds returned and are singing their songs once more. It was as if the killing of the wolf had never happened. This striked London as a bit strange but he shrugged it off, he would either be comfortable or uncomfortable if there was pure silence after that in either for respect or for comfort. Who could say for certain? London continued his pace, a bit more leasurely, sluggish even. The battle didn't wear him out his body but rather made his mind tired. He wanted to rest, it might have been nice to just lean up against a tree and go to sleep. He refused this as the thoughts of sleep PK were plighted his mind. Besides, a nice bed and a warm sheets would do him some good right now.

The day was turning out nicer, the sun was soothing and was like a warm blanket upon the face. Small rays of light breaking through the tree tops. London began to think aloud as he thought. "I wonder how Oikawa is doing...What's he been up to? Hopefully he's gotten better with his swordsmanship, I'll probably give him another lesson or something next time I see him." London finished, then a message poped into his screen "Hm?" London noised questionly. It was a notification from the game telling him that he has acquired a material from the fight, of seemingly high quality. London confirmed and took the item, placing it into his inventory. "I suppose I have a gift as well now." He noted. He found himself out of the forest by now, the rocky steps to Ubrus just a few ways away. He seemed to quicken his pace slightly. It'd be better to strain himself a bit now to get to bed faster rather suffer the days light until he got to an inn. He began taking the steps two at a time. Running into the town, he would pick up a quest after this. A actually challenging monster next time. He was getting tired of wolves.
