Tyrius opened the door, trying to be as silent as possible, so as to avoid waking the bandit or Air. As he entered, he opened his inventory and looked at just how much Col he had left: 1. He smiled at the tiny number before taking out of his inventory two pieces of bread that were unnaturally similar to angel bread. Tyrius made his way to Air, who had apparently fallen asleep in her chair, and set a piece of bread on a plate for her. He then drug a little table over to next to her and set the plate on the table, so that it wasn't on the ground. As he waited for her to wake up, he re-adjusted the bandit's blankets, and sat down in the other chair. He took a bite of his bread and grinned as he felt how fluffy and tasty it was in his mouth.

Air heard someone moving around in the real world, and it interrupted her dream. She was a light sleeper and had no problem waking up but found it hard to leave her mother from the pleasant dream she was having. Her eyes opened slowly, and she blinked them slowly. She rubbed her blue eyes and blinked them a few more times before sitting up. Air stretched her arms, then her legs, and sat up straight. A table had been set next to her and she stared at the food placed onto it before picking it up. She usually didn't eat much but found herself hungry and ate it quickly, stuffing the bread down, not able to savor it like she should have. Her eyes drifted over to Tyrius. "Thank you." She said knowing he was the one who bought the food. "Is he okay?" Air asked referring to the bandit.

Tyrius looked at the bandit for several long moments before standing up and pulling the sheets off of his legs, reveling to legs that had regenerated to the ankle. Tyrius grunted and said, "It should only take two or three more hours, and he'll be up and running, literally." As he fixed the blankets, he said to Air two questions that he had been dwelling on for most of the night, "Do you remember the man that I-I... you know? What... do you think he thought as it happened? Was he scared?" Tyrius looked down and clenched his fists to remain calm. He wasn't going to break down, not again. Not ever.

Air took a minute to ponder the question and then seriously replied. "He chose to attack knowing very well that his life could be ended. I'm sure in his last moments he was regretting approaching us, perhaps even the fact that he became a bandit in the first place." She opened her HUD and put her boot and chest plate back on before speaking again. "Everyone is going to be scared when facing death. I know you didn't mean... or want to kill him. It's not your fault. Please don't think too hard on it." Air patted his back reassuringly and looked over at the bandit sighing wishing his feet would grow back already so she wasn't stuck in the small inn for too long. Even though she had nothing else to do she wasn't really up for baby-sitting.

Tyrius nodded, trying to understand what she had said. Eventually, he decided that he needed fresh air, and said,"Hey, we can just leave the key here and go about our daily business. This guy will be fine." He smiled and said to Air quietly, so as not to disturb the bandit, "Is there anything you plan to do today that I could help you with?"

Air nodded at the offer of just leaving the key there, that made everything much better. She shrugged. "I never really do anything. What do you want to do?" She asked, heading for the door already in excitement. "It's not like we can buy anything..." She smiled at Tyrius knowingly. "But I don't want to bore you with just sitting around all day."

Tyrius smiled and said, "Yeah, I'm not a smart spender." He took a few steps and beat her to the door, opening it for her. As he stood there, holding open the door, he said, "I was thinking we could just walk around and hang out, I don't really have plans for today..." He blushed a bit at how weird it might sound and said quickly, "I-I mean, only if you want to."

Air smiled at how Tyrius rushed just to open the door for her and she turned her head to him as he spoke. "Hanging out with you... that actually sounds nice. I would love to." She said before stepping through the door, waiting for Tyrius to come as well so they could walk side-by-side. Once both were outside of the room and Tyrius gently closed the door; they headed out of the inn. "Floor 4 has the best atmosphere." Air held out her hand to catch a falling snowflake. "It's amazing how real this feels."

Tyrius shook his head at her comment about everything being lifelike, and said, "But it's not real... even though it's so freaking nice." At that, he reached down and scooped up a handful of snow, winking at her before throwing it right past her face.

Air was confused when Tyrius bent down but scowled at him when he threw snow past her face. It barely missed her and she could feel the wind coming from it. She did the same and threw two handfuls of snow at him but instead of throwing it past Tyrius she threw it on top of him. Knowing she won this round Air smirked and glared at him daring the boy to try and hit her again.

As he scooped his hands into the snow, he saw a look on Air's face that, well, scared him. Letting the snow fall back to the ground, he said,"Uh, sorry. I thought it'd be funny..." He looked at her and, before thinking, said,"How old are you? You seem like a child sometimes."

"Seventeen..." Air replied. "Do I really act childish?" She wondered aloud, frowning a bit. "Maybe it's just you. I'm usually more mature than this." She shrugged and put her hands on her hips thinking about her past actions. Or maybe I'm changing already. Air thought.

Tyrius smiled and said apologetically, "I just... judging from your behavior before... it's just... never mind." As he thought, he said with confusion, "Wait. What do you mean maybe it's me?" He smiled and put his hand on his face, looking between his fingers, "Wait, do you... like me?" At that, he burst out into laughter.

"T-That's not funny!" Air complained and turned her head, crossing her arms. "Stop laughing. You're just a friend that's all." A light blush dusted her cheeks despite what she said. She smiled a little bit and turned her head back to Tyrius. "How old are you exactly? It's only fair since I told you my age that you tell me yours."

He looked at his feet, and coughed to clear his throat. Maybe he could lie, but that would be wrong. No, the truth would be best. "Well, I am... uh, fourteen. But I don't look it, do I?" He looked at his hands, and, upon opening and closing them several times, looked back up at her. He noticed that she was blushing, even if it was hardly noticeable, and tried not to blush himself, but he was unsure if his efforts were working.

A laugh escaped from Air and she reached up to squish Tyrius's cheeks. "You look much older, in a good way of course. You're pretty tall too." She looked at his face and noticed a blush barely there as she once had and decided to call him out on it. "Say, do you like me? Your face is getting pretty red." She poked one of cheeks again and smiled before putting her arms back down to her sides. Air was enjoying these moments and found she was actually having fun.

Tyrius smiled when she squished his cheeks, and when she asked if he liked her, his face felt like it was burning. He stuttered and said, "W-well, what if I-I do? Alright, I guess I do." He grinned and bent his knees so that he was eye level with her. "Is this better? Me being your height?" he giggled, and got revenge by poking her cheek just once. What was up with his behavior? Why was he acting so strange? Oh well, it didn't matter.

"Don't rub the fact that I'm short in." She pouted and stuck her bottom lip out. Her hand traveled to the spot where Tyrius touched her cheek and she held it there for a few moments before dropping her arm back into its normal position. "I like you too, you know." Air stared at Tyrius in a serious manner. "You're officially my friend now whether you like it or not."

Tyrius grunted, stood up straight, and said, "I thought we were friends officially when we helped that bandit guy. But okay, we are officially friends now." He smiled fondly before patting her on the head. "So," he said, looking around, "is there anything in particular that you want to do at all?" He turned in a full 360, but saw nothing of interest nearby.

Air tapped her chin in thought before shrugging. "We could fight animals. Or we could look around some more. Or we could watch performers." She stuck her tongue out at Tyrius when he patted her head and looked at him, waiting for an answer. She flattened out her hair and played with her bow. Why do people like to touch my head so much? Air wondered remembering Kiru who would constantly ruffle her hair whenever she was around.
