[PP-F4] Good Morning (Air)

Recommended Posts

Tyrius shook his head and said quietly, "I'm not in the mood to fight anything. Not after..." he stopped, and then continued, "Looking around is an option, and so is the performers idea, too. All I have to say is that you can lead the way. I haven't really ever heard a performer though." He started clapping and began lightly singing the lyrics to an old song he knew.

"Sing us a song, you're the piano man.

Sing us a song tonight.

Cuz' we're all in the mood for a melody,

And you've got us feeling alright."

Air began to walk, leading the way as Tyrius suggested. She smiled when he began clapping and singing though she kept walking but focused on him. When she thought it was okay Air latched onto Tyrius's arm and pulled him forward. "Keep singing." She said. "I like it when you do." Air watched other groups of players stand around together happily for the New Years Holiday. It was a shame that she couldn't watch the ball drop on television with her parents like she normally would have. But if she was as content then as she was now then maybe it wouldn't be so bad. "Sorry if I seem bland, but I'm having a nice time."

(Atma, please do not comment here, as me. Ever again...)

Tyrius smiled at Air's comment and said, "Thank you. I don't sing often, so I don't know how I sound." Tyrius kept clapping and sung:

"Now John at the bar is a friend of mine
He gets me my drinks for free
And he's quick with a joke or to light up your smoke
But there's someplace that he'd rather be."

"You sound good to me." She commented before Tyrius could start singing again, she wanted to make sure he heard her before he was too focused on the lyrics. Air looked around, still trying to find a source of entertainment for her and her friend. It seemed everyone already had something to do themselves as everyone was deeply involved in something.

Tyrius noticed that Air was still looking around, presumably trying to find something to do. He smiled and said quietly into her ear, just to screw around, "We can always.. You know." As he said it, he kept the straightest face he could, and tried to seem like he was serious. He felt his face warm up,but was determined to make this moment awkward, and thus he ignored it.

Air shrieked and pushed Tyrius away from her side, a look of complete surprise plastered onto her face. "T-That's not funny! I wouldn't even- seriously?" She blinked a few times and started to blush out of embarrassment. "Gross." She crossed her arms and looked away, stomping a foot on the ground, frowning. "I can't even believe you."

Tyrius couldn't contain his laughter. Her reaction was priceless. He fell to his knees, and was grabbing his stomach to ease the pain from laughing. He sat there, laughing and crying, for a couple of minutes before standing up, his legs shaking a bit, and said, "Oh-oh my God. That was hilarious." He giggled some more and said, "Besides, I'm sure you can't do something like that in a game."

Air watched Tyrius fall to the ground laughing and looked straight ahead, her expression changing into a confused one. She scratched the back of her head and grew even more embarrassed when she realized he was only joking. I bet I looked like an idiot just then. She thought. "That was far from hilarious! And you don't know that it's not possible... s-so don't even talk about it anymore." Air was flustered and couldn't help it. She'd overreacted, been laughed at, and was fooled all at once. A scowl was flashed at Tyrius.

Tyrius looked at Air apologetically and said, "I'm sorry. I hadn't done anything silly in a while." When he saw her scowl, he looked at the ground, ashamed, and whispered, "I shouldn't have done that. My apologies." He stood there, looking at his feet in awkward silence, while he tried to figure out what to do.

Air frowned when Tyrius seemed... sad. Why? They were just having fun. "I was just joking around like you were, don't take it so seriously." She played with the bow in her hair and looked at Tyrius before giving him a small hug. "Feel better?" She leaned in and whispered in his ear like he had done to her earlier before poking his cheek once again.

Tyrius tried to smile, but it came out as a lopsided grin. He looked at Air and said, "What do you think other players are doing right now?" He rethought what he said, and corrected himself, "I mean, what do you think your friends are doing right now?"

"Uh..." Air hesitated and awkwardly chewed on her bottom lip. "I only have about two friends... one of them I barely like. It's more of a frenemy relationship. I would believe she's out trying to make new friends at the time. My other friend, I really don't know her that well. Probably causing trouble or something." She said referring to Pyro and Kiru. "Everyone else I've gotten off on bad terms with. Why do you ask? Are you wondering what your friends are doing right now?"

He said, "I don't feel like I have friends. Armenian and I don't hang out enough, and yeah, that's all I can think of friend-wise." He looked at Air, more specifically at her eyes, and said, "Is that your real eye color?"

"Oh.." She muttered when Tyrius said he didn't have any friends. "Blue? Yeah, this is my real eye color." Air replied a bit confused why he would ask about her eyes. "Do they look strange?" Air blinked a few times and tilted her head up at Tyrius so he could get a good look at them.

Tyrius shook his head, still looking at her eyes, and replied with, "No, your eyes are fine. I was just curious." He smiled and turned around, surveying the area they were in, before saying, "I haven't been to this village before, but it seems like a nice place. I might just visit here again." As he turned back to Air, he bit the inside of his cheek to refrain from saying that he hoped they would revisit this village together. Instead, he said, "I'm glad you and I met."

"Floor 4 is the best. I walk around here all the time, it's my favorite." Air said and smiled at Tyrius. "I'm glad I met you too. Surprisingly you... aren't annoying like everybody else. Spending time with you is great." She agreed and twirled the bow in her hair, feeling happy when in the presence of someone for the first time. "I hope we hang out more often I'm usually lonely with nothing to do."
