About: In her real life, Fernia is a university student currently doing research in molecular medicine and gene therapy, with the goal to help people. During her free time, she enjoys reading History books of Europe and playing videogames. She also does historical swordfighting in real life, so the sword skills along with the possibility of an VRMMO drove her to play SAO. Her brother is a renowned player of gun videogames. After getting caugth in SAO without the possibility of logging out, she's faced for the first time to use her swordfighting to try to survive.

Virtues: »

-Hardworking: she gives her very best, whether in battle or any goal she pursues. If protecting someone she cares about, she can push herself to her limits. She won't complain of being tired and try to act energetic to cheer the rest.

-Loyal: once someone earns her trust, she won't leave that person alone. She'll try to be there for them whenever they need her, and protect them in battle. She tends to be very sincere in her acts towards those people.

-Compassionate: having a gentle heart and a respect for life, she hates PK and will rather lock someone away than truly kill them. However, without another choice, she'll do it to save others or herself. She will also look after anyone being treated in an unfair way or threatened.

Flaws:

-Aimless: even when she knows she'll work in a hospital or pharmaceutcial company, somehow she feels she does not have a real goal driving her. In the game, she wants to believe there's something else besides surviving. She'd like to think her life has a purpose; maybe it's helping to finish this death game.

-Stubborn: she can be pretty stubborn on certain subjects. For example, if someone was in danger, she'd try to search for ways to help them, while not putting the rest in danger.

-Too tense: since she doesn't want to die, she's very careful whenever her defenses are at their lowest (while sleeping, for example). She still finds it easy to interact with others, but she wants to truly know them before placing her life in their hands or fighting along them.
