Zelrius 0 Posted June 10, 2014 Author #181 Share Posted June 10, 2014 Zelrius was done. He was tired of these birds no matter how weak they were and He now realized how feeble it was to try to and fight them when he couldn't even look at them to attack without being pecked and clawed at. He looked to Miles who wasn't having such a great time either and decided to do something he'd never done before; Retreat. He pulled out a Teleport crystal and Got near Miles. "NIMBUS!" He shouted quite wanting to get out of there fast. Blue shard matrielized around them then encompassed them until he Saw the blood-red Buildings around them. He let oout a sigh, Never again. Zelrius 0 Posted June 10, 2014 Author #182 Share Posted June 10, 2014 So he was off again, still determined to find the Blood-Lizards and get the Red-Steel Ingots and even possbily the Rare drop of Azure-Skin. The Azure skin would prove rather useful in getting Items from Leafa while the Red-Steel Ingots would be great for either weapons or Selling. The Blood buccaneer walked out of the City again, Taking another route to the Mountain this time and quite ready for anything else that may be thrown his way. The sun was hot, But didn't affect Zelrius as much as he spent a lot of time on the Fifth Floor Desert. This would prove to be invaluable in the time to come.
Zelrius 0 Posted June 10, 2014 Author #183 Share Posted June 10, 2014 He trudged on, each step getting heavier and each second getting darker. The solid ground beneath him was not that inviting despite how tired he was now. For a second he began cotemplating whether to camp out for the night or keep on Moving at least until he got to the Base of the Mountain. This took a some time to think and decide upon, and in that time he so happened to run into a Snake. This snake was nothing like they are in Real life. No this one was more of a Serpant. Zelrius steleled himself for another fight. Atleast, this one would be much easier then the last few. (1-5=Miss 6-8= 1 Damage 9 = 2 10, Critical = 3) (If Snake lands a 9 or 10, Poison damage is dealt, 1 for 3 turns. Zelrius 45/45 Miles 40/40 Snake 10/
Zelrius 0 Posted June 10, 2014 Author #184 Share Posted June 10, 2014 Zelrius pulled out his sword in quite a hurry to get this battle over with. He lunged forward, sticking his sword out infront of him in order to get a nice stab at the creature. The snake's Rough scales looked so appealing to just cut and scrape at. Zelrius was also overly tired, so it wouldn't be a surprise if this attack missed.
Zelrius 0 Posted June 10, 2014 Author #185 Share Posted June 10, 2014 As a matter of fact, To Zelrius's Surprise, the Attack landed and the Creature backed up. This left enough time for Miles to get in the game, He charged forward with Claws out ready to get a slash across the Creature. Luckily for Miles, He was a computer program and didn't feel sleepy, so this attack was a bit less Lazy then the Blood Buccaneer's. Zelrius 0 Posted June 11, 2014 Author #186 Share Posted June 11, 2014 That attack did Miss as the Snake merely ducked under his Claws and lunged itself forward to bite at Miles. The scales making a rather annoying SSSS sound as they slid across the rough and hard ground around them. Zelrius wondered to himself if the Wolf would be able to dodge this and if not, How much Damage would he take? Zelrius 0 Posted June 11, 2014 Author #187 Share Posted June 11, 2014 Zelrius flinched as the Bite landed and the Yellow Liquid seeped into Miles's bit spot. That would mean he was poisoned, Zelrius also noticed a Major decrease in health on Miles's part. This worried Zelrius for only a second as he refocused on the Snake. He took his sword and slashed at the beast, just maybe it would hit. Zelrius 45/45 Miles 36/40 (Poisoned 2 Turns) Snake 9/
Zelrius 0 Posted June 11, 2014 Author #188 Share Posted June 11, 2014 To Zelrius's great dismay, the hit didn't land as the Snake once again simply backed up a little to Dodge. This was already getting rather tiring to the Emperor of Mavericks, but he had to stick to it. Miles on the other hand, was now back in the game despite being poisoned. Following the Snakes Suit he charged at the Scaled creature and opened his jaws to get a bite in. Zelrius 45/45 Miles 35/40 (Poisoned 1 Turn) Snake 9/
Zelrius 0 Posted June 11, 2014 Author #189 Share Posted June 11, 2014 With yet another miss, Zelrius was Disappointed. The poison made Miles bite at mid Air and not at the Snake. He sighed as the Snake once again tried another bite, this time directed at Zelrius, who was prepared. He wondered what it was it would do He held his sword infront of him to block the attack. Zelrius 0 Posted June 11, 2014 Author #190 Share Posted June 11, 2014 Much to the Blood Buccaneer's Surprise, his ploy worked. The sword successfully blocked the bite and helf the Snake right there. He bashed his sword forward to get the Scaly beast away from him so he could perform his next attack. Zelrius ran forward this time swinging from up to down in a motion that would split someone in half in real life. Zelrius 0 Posted June 11, 2014 Author #191 Share Posted June 11, 2014 Miles tried once again to get a bite on the creature. It was only when Miles began to move that Zelrius realized that this thing might drop a Material of some sort for Crafting. If that was infact the case (And oh did he hope so) He thought it might , If the item crafted from it was perfect, Make poison and extra damage on the weapon which would be useful in the upcoming tournaments. Zelrius 0 Posted June 11, 2014 Author #192 Share Posted June 11, 2014 The Snake hissed and slithered back a little bit it then Charged at Zelrius and turned around quickly, wanting so badly to land a Tail across the Boy, wherever really, as long as it hit. Zelrius thought to himself while the Snake was performing these actions "If I am lucky enough maybe I can get some scales too..." (If 5-10 Loot dice is rolled upon death of the creature, then I get 1 Fang 11-14 = 1 Fang, 1 Snake Skin 15-19 = 2 Fangs, 1 Snake skin (or vice versa, Depending on which I want at the end) A Perfect 20 = 2 of each) Zelrius 42/45 (poison 3 Turns) Miles 34/40 Snake 7/
Zelrius 0 Posted June 11, 2014 Author #193 Share Posted June 11, 2014 His thoughts got the better of him as the tail whipped right across his unsuspecting face, leaving a terribly bright red mark on his left Cheek. He flinched for a moment, only to Realize that in the moment of battle, he couldn't let pain stop him, not even for a second. He backed up a little then charged once again sword outward, and tried to lunge into the scales. Zelrius 0 Posted June 11, 2014 Author #194 Share Posted June 11, 2014 Miles growled like a wild animal, which of course he was, and charged another time to get another bite or taste of the scaled mass that was under attack by the duo. The hard solid ground atleast made it easier for Balancing and attacks to be landed, Zelrius was grateful for it after the soft and shiftyness of the sand on Floor Five. Zelrius 0 Posted June 11, 2014 Author #195 Share Posted June 11, 2014 The unfortunate part for Miles was the attack Missed and He landed on the other side of his target. That was one bad thing about coming here after the mud of Floor 6 and Sand of Floor 5: These two had practiced well footing and over power pushing to hit their targets while here all they need was a tiny bit of effort to move about and hit the Target. The Snaee again turned to bite Miles Zelrius 40/45 Miles 31/40 (Poison for 3 Turns) Snake 5/
Zelrius 0 Posted June 11, 2014 Author #196 Share Posted June 11, 2014 Zelrius ran over to the cold-blodded Reptile and Slashed his sword Baseball bat style Left to Right from behind the shoulder, If this didn't hit, Zelrius thought, Then he was going to be pretty damn mad. Now the fight wasn't so much for survival, Not that he was ever in any danger, Now it was for greed for those Items that could be dropped from the Death of this beast. Zelrius 0 Posted June 11, 2014 Author #197 Share Posted June 11, 2014 And, of Course, the Baseball bat attack missed. Zelrius sighed when the creature ducked under it and slithered shortly away from the Wolf and the Boy. Miles went in, Full speed chase, after the Snake so it wouldn't get too far and tried to slash at its skin with claws again. Zelrius 0 Posted June 11, 2014 Author #198 Share Posted June 11, 2014 The Snake was tired of the feeble attempts to hit and missing. In its humor The Reptilian turned around and lunged to bite Miles. Zelrius was on his way after them as fast as he could, as soon as he Saw Miles had missed the slash attack He knew that if he didn't get there soon His familiar might die. Zelrius 0 Posted June 11, 2014 Author #199 Share Posted June 11, 2014 Luckily for Miles, the Bite was dodge and Miles didn't have to suffer more Poison or any other wound for that Matter. Zelrius quickly reached where the two were scrabbling and Struck his own sword out in order to get a slash in on the Reptile, really hoping this time He could land a hit "Don't fail me now, Dragon bane" He thought to himself as he swung. Zelrius 0 Posted June 11, 2014 Author #200 Share Posted June 11, 2014 Thanks to Dragon Bane, another hit landed and Zelrius was more then please with the resulting damage. Now it was Miles' turn again. The wolf charged forward, open jaws, to get another bite on the Reptile and then almost be done and over with him. That would make bot the Wolf's and The Boy's day.
